The space is a bit small but the flavors are large. It's setup to be carryout for the most part. Our order was taken quickly and our food came out in about fifteen minutes. My brother ordered the burger topped with brisket and I ordered the burnet ends. My brother enjoyed the burger and stated it was well seasoned. The burnt ends were beautifully cooked and tender. The steamed vegetables that accompanied the dish were well seasoned and I nice addition to the richness of the meat. I also enjoyed the vinegary bite of the cole slaw.

Cool Halal restaurant with great prices! The service was great. The cashier told us his favorite items and gave recommendations. The food was very fresh and so were the beverages. We chose to dine in and it gave a typical carry out/ fast food dine in ambiance. The tables had to be wiped off but they did it pretty quickly. The buffalo wings had pieces of jalapeño and onions so if I were to get it again I'd ask for no onions

Ok so boom; this is one of those places you constantly drive by but may not have had a chance to experience. So I said, let's change that today! Upon arrival, I was greeted by the staff at the register. Very friendly, she was. She gave me the menu and even shared what their most poplar items were currently. The restaurant is a nice size with plenty of parking! They had music playing and it appeared to be very clean. I ordered the smash burger less onions, jalapeños, and their house sauce. It was very tasty! It came with grilled mushrooms and I opted to add ketchup and mustard. The burger was a nice size and I was able to add fries and a canned soda for an additional $3.99. So my $9.99 burger was for the burger alone. Everything was hot and seasoned well. The burger had great flavor to it and they cooked it to my temperature request. The fries were nice and hot and had a little seasoning on them. Maybe Cajun but not at all spicy! The icing on the cake for me was a side of ketchup for my fries that was cold! I know everyone differs on this subject matter but I like cold ketchup once it's been opened so a simple but most appreciative pleasure. I would definitely visit again to try some of the other menu items!

So I keep hearing about Addy's on Instagram & finally decided to stop in early one Saturday afternoon. It's in the shopping center next to the liquor store behind Chuck E. Cheese so parking wasn't an issue. Must've been a slow start to the day cause it was nobody in there at all but that's how I like it nice & quiet. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich & fries. Of course with it being empty my food came out really quick nice & hot. The chicken was really crispy & delicious, fries also cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. I'll have to give another update soon because it was a few other things on the menu that caught my attention so this review is to be continued

I really wanted to leave a better review but I couldn't. I came in on a Wednesday afternoon and decided to order the beef ribs, the biggest size. The guy who took my order was very nice and let me know it'll be about 10 min. Which was not an issue for me. They have plenty of seating for individuals and families. I received my food and came home, it was still hot. So the ribs came with cornbread and fried onions. The onions weren't hot and crispy. Kinda tasted like they were previously fried and just sitting. The cornbread was not good at all. It's tasted like the pan it was cooked in. I don't know if that makes sense but it just wasn't good. It was dry and flavorless and like I said it had a pan like taste. Like they sprayed PAM in the pan beforehand and didn't use any type of butter. They should really rethink that recipe. The ribs themselves were just okay. They were tender but could use more seasoning on the meat itself. The barbecue sauce was good and when you got a good ratio of meat and sauce, the ribs were really good. But for the most part you could really taste that the meat itself did not have enough flavor. I'm not sure I would try the ribs again. I may try this place out again. I heard good things so I'll try something else on the menu. You should try it for yourself.

I drove two hours to visit Addy's Barbecue and it did not disappoint. I had mainly drive up to try the Mac n cheese which was a little on the cheesier side than I had expected but still good. I had the baby back rib sandwich which was a 9/10 very good.

OMG!!! Me and the kids went here today and LOVED it soooo much. We ordered the Beef Ribs, Brisket and mixed Mishkaki. No jokes, it was all extremely delicious. We will be going back very soon.

I checked this place out after seeing a random social media post. In short, it's an American BBQ with a slight Halal twist. We tried the brisket cheesesteak, buffalo wings, and a regular cheesesteak. Our sandwiches came with fries. All of our food was flavorful, but I think I liked the regular cheesesteak better than the brisket version, but both were pretty good. I noticed that the BGE workers on lunch all had burgers that each one of them destroyed, so I think I'm going to come back for one of those.

Nice new edition to the Westview shopping center. Good parking, courteous staff and a decent selection of foods. The wings were really good, some of the best in the area and the waffle fries were as well. I'll be back to try the bbq offerings and maybe upgrade my review. My knock is the cost. I know every thing is inflated right now but 6 party wings, waffle fries, tax and $2 tip totaled $19.34. read more

The beef quesadilla was fire. The steak and cheese was soggy not good. The burnt tips, were fatty and covered in too much sauce, and the side of vegetables are not good, neither is the coleslaw. Very bland. The ribs were just OK, too much sauce, let you feeling heavy but not necessarily full. Long wait time but we came right at Iftar. Plenty of seating, ambiance of a fast food spot. read more

The food was overpriced, overcooked, and definitely not fresh. I spent $81on original and cajun wings, 12 oz BBQ ribs, mac & cheese, cheese fries, and chopped cheesesteak. The wings were overcooked to the point of being burnt or they refried yesterday's wings and sold them to me. The cajun wings were covered with a heavy tomato-based sauce with a splash of hot sauce. Also, they looked like baby pigeon wings and not chicken wings. The ribs looked like they were recooked as well, but I have to admit they were tender. The fries and mac & cheese had a funny taste. It must have been from the cheese. The chopped steak (cut up hamburger patty) was very tasty. The wait was longer than expected, about 40 mins. By the time I got home, all of the food was room temp. I came straight home (from Westview to Owings Mills), so it must have been cold or room temp when I got it. My suggestion is to order something that can't be pre-cooked. read more

We love the halal truck outside University of MD Hospital and have been searching for one in Catonsville since I retired. Found Addy's on line and was so pleasantly surprised! Oh man I wanted this to be good. Ordering was fine, the menu was hard to read but overall service was prompt and friendly. I got the amarillo burger and it was terrible. The burger meat was very low quality and the toppings were mediocre and had no flavor. Although this came with fries and a soda, the cost was very high. $15 plus tax and tip for a single burger that tasted like a frozen and thin patty. The mushroom sauce was ok but they don't give you very much. I don't plan to try this place again the cost is just exorbitant for the quality. read more

I would not eat here again, burger quality just below a Burger King's. Couldn't force myself to eat more than two bites of the Amarillo Burger and fries were okay at best. The rest of the menu may be good but the pricing is questionable. read more

Great BBQ place with an impressive menu of food. From BBQ to burgers to Middle Eastern food, this place does it all and all very well. Don't be put off by the wide range of food. They even have 3-4 different types of fries - who does that!! The food tastes great, comes out quick and portions are massive. We got the burnt end sandwich, Curley fries, atomic chicken tenders (not that hot but great flavor), a burger and a massive Mac n Cheese. We are so glad we found this little gem. read more

A must try! The beef ribs were amazing. Super tender and the sauce was great! The atomic wings were yummy as well. The heat level was perfect, not to much and not to little. We also ordered the armadillo? ( I think that was it was called) burger. It came with a great mushroom sauce. Not sure how the beef patty was made, but it was a little over done. I would definitely come back and try other things but one suggestion for the burger would be to coarse grind (not fine grind) the meat and cook it where it retains it's juice. The sauces that we tried so far were yummy. So happy to have a halal bbq option. The staff were very pleasant and the interior was very clean. Highly recommend! read more

I'll first say this location for the establishment has had several different food restaurants here. It's been a quiznos, somethimg else, Southern BBQ spot and now a halal BBQ spot. Yes, you read correct, halal. With that being said, expect the taste in flavor and texture of meat to be different. My foodie expert said the ribs were great. It came with some cornbread that was bomb!! It was moist and soft with a little crisp on top and tasted like cake!! There was also some onion shreds but they had no flavor at all. They were beef ribs, but more like beef tip in my opinion. I dont eat red meat, but I tried the sauce and it was delicious! Also ordered jalapeño poppers. They were not good, the cheese was not melted, outside too hard and no dipping sauce options. Thanks goodness they ended up being comped. Next, I had the garlic parm wings. Very different taste. I could taste the garlic but flavor seemed bland, the consistency was thick and although the wings were tossed something just didn't look right with the sauce and didn't taste right to me. The wings were halal as well so if you are looking for your standard party wing or whole wing this isn't it. Third, my fab foodie wanted loaded Chili fries so he did get some to try and he said they were Fire along with the spice that was used for the chili sauce, but it seemed like it was too much cumin or maybe a curry. Again keep in mind this is a halal barbecue so I told him that is to be expected because they do use a lot of those spices. A very unique thing is that they also make their own water is more like a salter but they have added flavor to different ones. So overall I give this a 4 because the customer service was good, staff was patient and discounted an item because we really only wanted a sample but they did not have any available. Addy's is definitely a place to try out if you are looking for something different and delicious I think I will go back but a little bit at a time. read more

I don't know what everyone else is raving about, but if you're expecting some good stuff, think again. Ordered burnt ends and I can immediately taste that they were not fresh. Very small portion of meat and a very large portion of grilled vegetables gives the appearance of a large meal. Wings also were frozen and fried, you can tell from the darkness and texture of the meat. I ended up tossing the entire order because I simply didn't like anything. $40 spent on poor quality food is not cool , lesson learned everyone cannot make BBQ read more

Today I went in and tried the chicken wings (tenders) I tried the bbq, garlic and the jerk chicken tenders. The vibe was nice but the food was not... the chicken tenders had no flavor no seasoning what so ever. I would have lowered the score but the bbq one were okay at most... if before frying the tenders these would be seasoned at least salt and pepper I am sure these would be so much better. All I could taste was a bland sauce... very disappointing out of the three orders we got we didn't even finish one. Hoping this will help the improve. I wouldn't mind giving it a second chance sometime in the future but for now this is a no for me... read more

Great hidden gem in Catonsville. I got the barbecue beef ribs. Fall off the bone great! They cut the ribs in half so they are short but the meat is plentiful and the barbecue sauce they use is wonderful. Perfect blend of salt and sweet. You're not gonna get hickory barbecue ribs at this place. It's a little different than I normally seek out, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean and tidy. The only drawback is that the ribs are quite expensive for the amount that you get, but the taste and quality make up for the price. Definitely be back! read more

The food was ok. Rated 5/10. Casual restaurant offering Americanized Halal food option. Food lacks seasoning. We had the beef tip brisket-tender not much flavor, mixed veggies no flavor, coleslaw no flavor, beef ribs no flavor, corn bread sweet and moist, French fries were just ok, chicken sandwich was ok, waffle fries were seasoned and pretty good. I ordered Mac n cheese and the bbq chicken sandwich . The food came out pretty quick so no long wait time. They were both delicious ! The Mac n cheese was super cheesy , the bbq chicken had the perfect amount of sauce and the toppings were great! Their bathrooms were clean and they also had Maher Zain music in the background. Ordered the burnt ends which were definitely not burnt ends. Over cooked meat of some type very dried out and no flavor. If you like half cooked carrots and onions you will get a major amount. $24.99 for lots of veggies is a little out of my price range. Won't be going back. read more

Just note, this is a legit country store, offering random canned items, dried goods, toys, collectibles, drinks, snacks, and even hot food. We saw a patron come in, looking for charcoal, and there was a bag hiding behind the front door! We stopped by, as we had heard about Mr. Jay's famous burgers - we ordered one to share, open to any toppings he recommended - ours came with fresh Romaine lettuce, sliced onions, a hot pepper spread, sliced fresh jalapenos, cheese, and mayo, all nestled in a locally baked bread. This was a simple, but a tasty burger! The freshly-ground beef is picked up every morning, from the slaughterhouse that is across the street; I don't really want to think about that all too much, but just know that what you're getting is some fresh proteins! Mr. Jay also grows his own peppers and such, so you'll taste the freshness! There are a few comfortable chairs around the store, so you can definitely just sit and enjoy your food, or take it to go - we opted to dine-in, and we almost fell asleep since we were that cozy and relaxed! Saturday I was craving a steak and traffic was so backed up going to the restaurant I was originally going to, that I instead decided to just go somewhere close to my house. Upon sitting down I was told they has a berry mojito special so I ordered. It was not good so I only had two sips. Next I ordered the sirloin dinner that was on special. As soon as the sliced steal was placed in front of me I knew it would not be goid. It looked unappealing. Sort of like boiled meat instead of a grilled steak. I took a bite. It was so bad I asked for steak sauce. It was still horrible. I only ate two of the pre-cut slices and told the waitress it was by far the WORST steak I ever had and said I would have wings instead. The wings were good as always. This horrible meal ended up costing me $56 for the uneaten steak dinner, horrible mojito I did not drink, and the wings. The bartender was nice. I use to bartend and if I noticed a customer not drinking a drink I made, i would have asked if they wanted anything else, or I would have remade the drink. The bartenders were nice so I left an $8 tip . This ended up being the most expensive buffalo wings I ever had. I was exhausted after having a long work week and not having eaten breakfast or lunch so I just paid and left without complaining.
