Might be a BBQ Chicken place, but I heard the rice/fish cakes were terrific-and they were!!! Ddeok Bokki comes in classic or rose with thinly sliced fish in ultra spicy sauce and Rick cakes to soak it up. Definitely special. Egg Rolls are also an excellent complement to whatever else is ordered. Takes longer than most for the food to come out.

I got the half chicken of the original golden chicken. The chicken itself was moist and tender, and they definitely fried it to order, as it was crispy and tender. The order took a while, which is to be expected. While the texture of the chicken was very nice, the flavor was a bit off. The chicken was seasoned well, but I think they need to change their oil more frequently. I've had BBQ chicken in Korea, and you can clearly taste the flavor of olive oil in their fried chicken. However, I couldn't taste it here, but I could taste the flavor of the oil. It was very light and not too offputting, but still present.

I came here around 2pm on a Monday. It was surprisingly pretty busy, maybe due to it being president's day. The staff was friendly but they do tell you to expect about a 20 minute wait for your food. Honey garlic chicken: very garlicky and slightly sweet. The wing sizes were very generous and the skin was extra crispy. Yummm! This place is cheaper compared to the other Korean fried chicken places. I'd definitely want to come back and try other flavors!

Yummy wings, do expect a wait as they take time to make the wings fresh! Really unique flavors and a good addition to the Catonsville area. They are located within the hub so there is generally ample seating for the guests in there.

Food was good, however spice levels were not that hot. The crunch on the chicken was amazing.

Part of the Asian Hub, BBQ Chicken has an abundant variety of chicken/wings flavors and options. They do say to expect 20-25 minutes for your order as they make everything to order (no complaints here!). We ended up going with -Golden Original boneless-amazing! Twice fried, crispy, tender with a hint of heat-must try! You don't need sauce but I got ($2 each) a side of the Secret Spicy and Honey Garlic (loaded with Garlic) to try & both were excellent! Gangnam bone-in Wings-tender, slightly spicy -legit Chicken Staff was friendly & helpful. All were happy with the choices-some of the best Wings we've had. Just wish they were closer!

My wife and I have truly been sleeping on this place. We have always gone back and forth because it's a bit pricey, but when I tell you it's worth the 17.99 for their small....I mean it. Crispy, crunchy, delectable wings. Even the sauced ones, reheated the next day, had an absolute ASMR crunch that was just divine. We ordered from door dash and it came pretty quickly. Hot, fresh, CRISP. Roughly 8 to 12 wings in their small order and totally worth it. We will keep ordering from here because the wings are truly far superior to wing place in town.

This BBQ Chicken location is inside the Asian Hub (a food court-style area), which consists of other Asian goodies like bubble tea, Korean corn dogs, shaved ice, and hot pot. Their chicken is very delicious, and they are so crisp. I would say that it's pretty consistent with all the other BBQ chains. However, the flavor and quality of food decreases immediately overnight, when you decide to have leftovers the next day. The wait time isn't too bad; waited around 15-20 minutes long (Sunday 6:30PM). Can't really comment on service, because of the minimal interaction with the workers. I'd say it's relatively cheap-- I basically had two whole chicken with three other people and we had so much left overs. The one downside is that they don't do half and half (they take only mediums vs. large chicken); and their chicken size menu is not consistent with doordash's. Also, I think they could work on the packaging a little bit more; had my chicken to-go, and it was very exposed haha.

I went on a Sunday evening and had to wait around 15 minutes for a medium order of wings. I like how BBQ Chicken has the option of either bone in or boneless. It is the first time I have personally seen any Korean fried chicken having a boneless option. The wings are generously sized and overall enjoyed the spicy galbi flavor. I went with spicy galbi because I wanted something spicy and not your typical soy garlic flavor. I would consider spicy galbi a mild spice and wish it was hot. I would try BBQ Chicken again but it is no replacement for Bon Chon. I will say there are plenty of options and flavors and you should be able to find something to fit your flavor profile.

My first time here and the wings were delicious. Not gonna lie the strawberry Soon Hari snuck up on me lol I assumed it would be weak AF but it almost knocked me into complete relaxation. The crunch was crunchy! I learned that you should not pour your own drink so have someone else pour your shots!

Top is spicy galbi, bottom is honey garlic

Today was our third takeout from here. Ordering on site and waiting 20-30 min is still better because the prices online are much higher. We wanted a variety so we got the original (which kinda reminded you of Popeye's), honey garlic (our favorite) and spicy galbi. (On menu it's indicated as very spicy but it was kind of mild. Because of this we were disappointed). Next time we might just stick to our favorite, the honey garlic.

Expecting to be great from all the reviews....mediocre at best. Overrated. Overpriced. We did 2 of the combo grill items and one entree. The grill experience just was not up to par. Rather than us grilling, they do it for you. So, first round with 2 different beef items, that seemed fine since it was grilled separately in the process aspect, but they took the meat off and swaped it so we could not grill as we wanted to as we wanted it. That first batch was way undercooked and very fatty. Second, tenderloin was ok. Then they did the combo beef and squid, and we saw that beef getting really nice, where we thought they would do the same in taking it off then doing squid. NOPE! THey just threw it all on and pretty much ruined the whole thing since we never intended to have them together...and for me, it was inedible since I can't eat seafood and squid particularly. WTF already. No mention of it in the menu unless it was in Korean language. Tossed that $ right down the crapper. As for ambiance and service, just don't have high hopes. The person doing the grilling split us up to access the grill and was constantly in the way of any conversation. Service? Hahaha..that's a 2 of 10 rating there. Never once even attempted to ask us if everything was ok, never asked if we needed anything or water, napkins, more food...just all business end and forget the rest. All 4 of us had the same thoughts. We had to pester them to get anything. This one is a one-and-done for all of us. It was so bad that I normally take images, and this was just not one for the books nor will ever be memorable other than an expensive mistake. Celebrity chef...whatever. Rosanne Barr is a celeb...'nuff said. This one can be skipped.

They have a late night menu and they are open until 1 am. We ended up getting two bowls one salmon and the other was grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was seasoned to perfection. It wasn't hot it was room temperature. What lost me was the sauces that go on top. I ordered all 3 so that I could see which one I liked. White sauce taste like yogurt .... Ahhh no thank you I wasn't expecting that. The red sauce is like a spicy ketchup but it just didn't do it for me. The green sauce was mild somewhat but not good enough for me to spread across my bowl. That's the one sauce that is close to my liking but it's not quite there yet. The salmon bowl we ordered the purple rice and it taste like regular rice just colored in my opinion. Corn was cold .The salmon wasn't hot when I dug my fork into it no steam or anything came out so I'm not sure how long it sat before we received it. Mind you we ate inside of the restaurant so there was no gapped time in between preparation and delivery. We did order french fries and I must say they were really good. Again not hot but room temperature. We did try the signature lemonades, rose and mango flavored. The mango flavored was delicious the rose was okay. I did have something floating inside of my lemonade that was green mind you I didn't order anything green ( lettuce or guacamole) but once I told the guy at the register he quickly corrected it and gave me a newer one. I went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy. I'm on the fence about this place I may go back but if I do I may just get chicken wings and the loaded fries. They are open late so you never know.

I ordered the bulgogi bowl with rice - my husband got bulgogi with fries thingy, my son a Gogi burger and Spicey bacon fries and we got daughter the carne with fries. My daughter's carne with fries - which we specifically asked for no sauce or cheese - bc she's a very picky eater - took well over 25 minutes to make. All of us had our food and she was crying (she's 7) bc she was so hungry and didn't like anything we had. The food cost over $70 and honestly I was semi pleased at best. My bowl was so so rice heavy with not enough meat - and it didn't taste like Korean bulgogi. It was good - but not bulgogi. The meat and fries combo was almost all fries with little meat - so again - we paid $70 for fries and rice - and my daughter didn't like the carne at all and ate her fries. My husband likes the bulgogi fries but again - little bulgogi - large amounts of sauce and fries. The best thing was the churros. The reason I'm giving a 3 is bc I was to love this place. This is my dream combo - I love Korean and Mexican food! And you can't find halal everywhere. I just am disappointed at the wait time and the prices for what we got.
