I've been here a couple times before, and the sauce on the wings is okay! Classic Korean fried chicken, but some flavors hit better than others. I'd definitely recommend the classic honey garlic/soy garlic wings if you haven't had Korean fried chicken before. The galbi wings were disappointing. The sauce felt off, artificial almost? I could tell that they were going for a more Smokey flavor, though. It's a little pricy, with the small order of wings (8) being about $16-17 ish depending on what flavor you get. In other locations of this chain, they usually have some pickled radish banchan, but this location didn't. The service has gotten worse over time from what I've experienced. They've always had a bit of a longer wait time (20-35 mins), so I don't recommend ordering if you're super hungry and need food instantly. The workers have gotten a bit more rude; we had been waiting for our order for 45-50 mins at this point, and we asked if the order went through, because with the order taking that long, we weren't sure. I totally understand that the World Cup Final was playing on the big screen and they were a little busier than usual, but they gave my friend the most disgusted look when they asked how our order was doing. The worker retorted a sharp "can't you wait?" with an eye roll. I felt really bad at first for bothering them but it was also pretty rude of them to respond that way. I got the half chicken of the original golden chicken. The chicken itself was moist and tender, and they definitely fried it to order, as it was crispy and tender. The order took a while, which is to be expected. While the texture of the chicken was very nice, the flavor was a bit off. The chicken was seasoned well, but I think they need to change their oil more frequently. I've had BBQ chicken in Korea, and you can clearly taste the flavor of olive oil in their fried chicken. My wife and I have truly been sleeping on this place. We have always gone back and forth because it's a bit pricey, but when I tell you it's worth the 17.99 for their small....I mean it. Crispy, crunchy, delectable wings. Even the sauced ones, reheated the next day, had an absolute ASMR crunch that was just divine. We ordered from door dash and it came pretty quickly. This BBQ Chicken location is inside the Asian Hub (a food court-style area), which consists of other Asian goodies like bubble tea, Korean corn dogs, shaved ice, and hot pot. Their chicken is very delicious, and they are so crisp. I would say that it's pretty consistent with all the other BBQ chains. However, the flavor and quality of food decreases immediately overnight, when you decide to have leftovers the next day. The wait time isn't too bad; waited around 15-20 minutes long (Sunday 6:30PM). Can't really comment on service, because of the minimal interaction with the workers. I'd say it's relatively cheap-- I basically had two whole chicken with three other people and we had so much left overs. The one downside is that they don't do half and half (they take only mediums vs. large chicken); and their chicken size menu is not consistent with doordash's. I went on a Sunday evening and had to wait around 15 minutes for a medium order of wings. I like how BBQ Chicken has the option of either bone in or boneless. It is the first time I have personally seen any Korean fried chicken having a boneless option. The wings are generously sized and overall enjoyed the spicy galbi flavor. I went with spicy galbi because I wanted something spicy and not your typical soy garlic flavor. I would consider spicy galbi a mild spice and wish it was hot. I would try BBQ Chicken again but it is no replacement for Bon Chon. I will say there are plenty of options and flavors and you should be able to find something to fit your flavor profile. read more

It has a strong green onion flavor, so if you don't like that I would stay away. We chased the heat away from the ddeokbokki with some honey garlic chicken, and it was an amazing combo! I had the opportunity to check out BB.Q Chicken at the Asian Hub Food Court last week. Being an elite, I had a coupon/offer for bone-in or boneless wings, any flavor/sauce. I was super excited to discover BB.Q Chicken and was happier when I realized it was only 15 minutes from me (I live in Columbia). When I arrived, there was one person ahead of me. When they left, I stood back at a distance waiting to be called to the counter. The guy who was at the counter was busy with receipts and packing orders. I stood there for a good 7 minutes waiting for him to let me know if I could move forward to place my order, especially with COVID and social distancing. He kept going on as if there was no one, mind you the line was building up behind me. I made the executive decision to move forward on my own, speaking to him behind the glass barrier. He claimed he couldn't hear me, after a numerous number of times, I gently moved my mask down to speak and he claimed he still couldn't hear. Then I notice, there is a mic that you have to speak into. He did not let me know that I needed to move a bit to the right to speak into the mic to place my order. Even there, he still claimed he couldn't hear me (mind you, it was not loud in there AT ALL). This was truly disappointing. The struggle or claim to not been able to hear me continued, which I found super awkward. I showed him my voucher on my phone for the FREE wings, he came back with a piece of paper and said he couldn't find my name. My name was right there on the list?! I was finally able to put my order in for the FREE wings even though I kept telling him I wanted bone in and again he couldn't hear me so I settled for what the wanted me to order (boneless). The ordering process and customer service at the counter was horrible to be honest and no initiative or effort to make sure I got what I really wanted. Came to this spot on a recommendation from a friend. Perhaps the best Korean fried chicken in these parts. Used to be Bon Chon and Waker (inside the newer Hmart but now closed). The balance of crispy and sauce is to perfection. We ordered the soy garlic, Gangnam flavor, and bb chicken (crispy and spicy seasoning underneath). I was surprised at how good the chicken was. It was tender, juicy and the sauce choices are excellent. The heat of the sauces was marked with stars and a 3-star sauce was nicely spicy with good flavor. I was there for lunch and it took 20 minutes to get my order. I understand Korean fried chicken takes time, but that's a lot of time during a lunch break. Maybe they could pre-cook part of it ahead of time and do the final fry once the order is in to speed things up. The chicken stall is in a line with Teriyaki, a fried fish and dumplings stall, and a noodle stall, but they all seem to be sharing a cash register - it was a bit confusing.
