This was the best threading experience I have ever had. Thorough without pain, I left without any redness. I love when getting threaded and you can tell your being accurately checked if your brows are symmetrical, feel the thread go alongside your nose and almost across the eye the way your supposed to fill in with a brow pencil. I called a few days prior, got a 5pm appointment for a wash, blowout, and flatiron, and arrived promptly that day. I left the salon at 9:15 pm. You read that right--9:15 pm. 4.25 hours to wash, blow dry, and flatiron my hair. First, it started off with a very rough wash--the man that washed my hair basically washed it like I was a mannequin and my head was secured onto my body with Gorilla Glue. I had water in my face, on my shirt, just a mess. After that, I spent most of that time sitting...and watching Jill do a weave, tighten locs, and do other people's hair. After about 3 hours of watching this, live tweeting my disbelief, thinking about paying for the wash and walking out, and being bounced from chair to chair, I asked how much longer will I be. She looked at me kind of like, "How dare you ask this question?" and told me that I'd probably get out around 10. I told her that I had a 5pm appointment, and then she had this "Oh sh*t!" look on her face...next thing I know, some random person was blow drying my already dried hair...and then I finally got my hair done by Jill. I could tell she was rushing, because it wasn't even as nice as it was before. She was also doing that buttering up thing that stylists do when they know they've effed up--you know how they tell you you're a good customer, etc etc. Okay. At least she didn't charge me full price. Lesson learned--make sure I stay on the books at my regular salon.

I was happy with overall the job she did but the color was a little to light. But the overall job was solid. I shared that and she was like come back and I will fix it. So I made an appointment totally expecting to pay for it. She was like uhm the color is free. I was like "say what". She did a great job this is more me, and I really think I am done trying to put color in my hair. She was very happy I gave her the chance to fix it. That to me meant a lot. Most stylists get tuddy when you point out things. Not Teresa she was like ok let me fix it, and she did just that. This is for sure my new salon! She cut it even too, it's a little shorter than I expected. However it will grow back faster that way, plus it's even:) I plan on returning to her to keep my hair right and tight. Per usual the service is always really good, and I enjoy talking to her. Stylists are counselors and don't even realize it lol. My daughter will be visiting soon and I will add pics!

They charge a fee for using a credit card. Cool, I'll pay in cash. The last time I gave them my business I learned to ask for the total before they begin. I go to the ATM up the street and get cash. They were wrapping up service on my family member and I'm going to pay. The owner? gets an attitude and tells me they didn't include the wash in the price. I looked at the lady who gave me the quote and she said nothing. I point out to the owner that wasn't included in the price her employee gave me. She said well that the price. Pause It would be good customer service to just let me pay the price quoted. I'd been there several times before so I was a regular. Welp The owner didn't see it that way. Which is fine for her but she lost to regular customers. I will never go there again. Although, further away, I found a different Braider who I now recommend. They give a good experience and run their business professionally and ethically.

She laid the chair back, took her shoes off and was OUT and no one saw anything wrong with it. I guess what they said in some of the reviews was true when the owner is away the workers will play. I CANNOT imagine the owner knowing how her shop is operated when she not there. Oh and I almost forgot.... My daughter had gone to them a week prior to me, she hot medium braids they charged her 220 +7 for using plastic...Then they charged me the same for small braids..... not cool AT ALL. I wish Sefa would explain her pricing.
