Stopped by for some morning working. Definitely a bit narrower than I expected, but surprisingly good space to sit and work. All the tables inside are individual unless you sit side-by-side. Some group tables are on the sidewalk outside. I had a cold brew that was awesome, and one of the better bagels with spread that I've had in recent memory. Music is not too loud, and perfect for working. Staff here are chatty and friendly, and are super helpful, even coming around to me as I was sitting down to ask if I had the wi-fi info yet. There are a few outlets along the wall, so you should be able to get a charge as long as you have a long enough charger. While food and drink is great here, think the seating is a bit of a restriction, as it seems like I got a seat only by luck. But catch me stopping by again off-peak hours for a solid work session! read more

Service is super aloft, almost bearing on unfriendly. We had our drinks to stay, there are several small tables. Drinks were well made but the atmosphere with the music choice was not really relaxing so we weren't able to enjoy our coffees for long. read more

Amazing staff who support diversity and inclusion! All customers are very clearly treated with kindness and respect which is clear by the large amount of regulars. Great music and atmosphere. The coffee is some of the best I've had and the cold brew is to die for. It's on an adorable strip with some other great businesses so I recommend checking them out as well. read more

I ran in on a cool day for a hot latte, kept it simple. Flavors and dairy free options available. Latte was about $5 which is typical, I would say. Small cafe with some seating available, no wait time. Best latte I've had in a while. Will def return. read more

This is a great little cafe, right on Germantown Avenue, which I was delighted to discover recently. I just came from my first visit at Adelie. I was greeted by a woman with a very kind face, she was very polite and took my order right away. (My go to: almond milk, vanilla latte) Latte completion time: 3-5 minutes. **The lost 1.5 star due to thr taste of the latte: The latte was very bland, not much foam, and no flavor at all. It tasted like water with milk in it. I wasnt very happy that my 10 dollar beverage was tasteless. They lost 1 star for the seating: There was just one bench with two front facing tables (where the dog was sitting) to the left and 5-6 tables lined up on the wall. Very tight, not comfortable or inviting. I guess they set it up that way to encourage you to be social--but the space felt cold and tight. Feels like a grab and go spot. They gained .5 stars back for being dog friendly. read more

Biked here this morning and it was fantastic. 2 cold brews and 2 everything bagels. It's cute and quaint. The coffee was really good and so were the bagels. I got plain cream cheese and she got pimento. I should gotten the same as her but I panicked when they said they were out of veggie. Don't F up like I did. Get the pimento. We walked a block or so down to a little park on the other side of the street. They have outside seating there but not a ton. Had I known the free library had large seats that remind you of Alice in wonderland I'd have walked a little further before sitting down. read more

Oh my goodness this place is so welcome in the neighborhood. We came for the very welcoming and refined decor and stayed for the BOMB coffee and bagels. We walked here with our newborn and puppy and we're so pleased to have an open table and smiling faces when we arrived. My husband got a bagel with the pimento cheese special and a cold brew and I got a plain bagel and a hot coffee and both were exceptional. Wonderful cafe! The coffee is excellent, there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was great. I bought a bag of beans and was offered another bag for free because it had just been taken off the shelf that day for nearing its expiration date. I thought that was very kind of them. I've tried their Darker Roast and Columbia (the latter being SO delicious...fruity, smooth, very flavorful). If I'm back in the area, I'll certainly return. read more

This experience was so sad :( I just left Adelie. The inside is really quaint and cute. A friend of mine recommended it and said they had really good bagels and toasties. So I combined the 2 and ordered a toastie on a bagel. I asked the employee if he could plate my toastie so I could get some content to promote them bc I'm a food blogger, before taking it to go. He was super kind and took his time making it, to make sure the cheese was perfectly melted and we chatted about restaurants while my toastie was being made. After leaving, I ate the toastie and felt so bamboozled. The perfect cheese pull for nothing :(. The toastie had zero flavor. I tasted nothing. The bagel had no flavor. The bagel was also cooked so well done that it just looked like a burnt flagel. To top it off, my toastie order was wrong. My sister and I each ordered toasties and they mixed up our meats and put the wrong ones on so we had each other's toppings (she should've had tomatoes and I should've had calabrian peppers). And these weren't custom orders either. They mixed up their own standard toasties. I just ate the whole thing and feel like I ate nothing. There's no flavor in my mouth. If that was a good bagel with flavorful toppings, it would've exceeded expectations with that cheese pull. Sadly the melted cheese was the only success. My lavender chamomile tea was good for what it was. read more

I live a few minutes away and I think their coffee is consistently great, their bagels & spreads are very tasty, and the staff is not only super nice, but also have a great sense of urgency. Adelie is the best new thing in Mt. Airy! Their coffee is delicious. Best bagels in Philadelphia, a variety of spreads (my favorites are strawberry or bacon horseradish). We are happy to recommend Adelie Coffee House to everyone! We had no idea that it was opening but are very pleasantly surprised that it is here. There is a friendly atmosphere with smallish tables and benches to one side for seating. The coffee is good with three different sizes to drink in or take out. By far the best coffee in NW philly. They also have excellent bagels. Yes these bagels are actually good and not just good for philly. It is exactly what everyone has wanted so please support them.
