    Hot Oat Milk Latte
    Sabria M.

I ran in on a cool day for a hot latte, kept it simple. Flavors and dairy free options available. Latte was about $5 which is typical, I would say. Small cafe with some seating available, no wait time. Best latte I've had in a while. Will def return.

You may miss the sign, its right before Zsa's Ice Cream.

I just came from my first visit at Adelie. I was greeted by a woman with a very kind face, she was very polite and took my order right away. (My go to: almond milk, vanilla latte) Latte completion time: 3-5 minutes. **The lost 1.5 star due to thr taste of the latte: The latte was very bland, not much foam, and no flavor at all. It tasted like water with milk in it. I wasnt very happy that my 10 dollar beverage was tasteless. They lost 1 star for the seating: There was just one bench with two front facing tables (where the dog was sitting) to the left and 5-6 tables lined up on the wall. Very tight, not comfortable or inviting. I guess they set it up that way to encourage you to be social--but the space felt cold and tight. Feels like a grab and go spot. They gained .5 stars back for being dog friendly.

Cute place, nice outdoor seating and indoor seating. My mocha latte was delicious. Not too sweet like I like it. I tried a vegan Toastie, which is like a grilled cheese. It was worth the wait

Oh my goodness this place is so welcome in the neighborhood. We came for the very welcoming and refined decor and stayed for the BOMB coffee and bagels. We walked here with our newborn and puppy and we're so pleased to have an open table and smiling faces when we arrived. My husband got a bagel with the pimento cheese special and a cold brew and I got a plain bagel and a hot coffee and both were exceptional. Excited to bring our friends here from out of town.

Cool vibe, robust coffee and a really good bagel. I was a little put off by the fact that the bagels are from NY, but they lived up to the NY bagel tradition. Truly enjoyed the pimento cream cheese that had an unexpected kick. New neighborhood favorite.

    Perfect latte. Perfect.

Hits all the right notes. Excellent coffee. Delicious bagels and pastries. Zero pretension. But it's cool enough of a place that it could be pretentious if wanted to be. The staff is very friendly and bring some welcomed cheer and sidewalk activity to the neighborhood.

This experience was so sad :( I just left Adelie. The inside is really quaint and cute. A friend of mine recommended it and said they had really good bagels and toasties. So I combined the 2 and ordered a toastie on a bagel. I asked the employee if he could plate my toastie so I could get some content to promote them bc I'm a food blogger, before taking it to go. He was super kind and took his time making it, to make sure the cheese was perfectly melted and we chatted about restaurants while my toastie was being made. After leaving, I ate the toastie and felt so bamboozled. The perfect cheese pull for nothing :(. The toastie had zero flavor. I tasted nothing. The bagel had no flavor. The bagel was also cooked so well done that it just looked like a burnt flagel. To top it off, my toastie order was wrong. My sister and I each ordered toasties and they mixed up our meats and put the wrong ones on so we had each other's toppings (she should've had tomatoes and I should've had calabrian peppers). And these weren't custom orders either. They mixed up their own standard toasties. I just ate the whole thing and feel like I ate nothing. There's no flavor in my mouth. If that was a good bagel with flavorful toppings, it would've exceeded expectations with that cheese pull. Sadly the melted cheese was the only success. My lavender chamomile tea was good for what it was.

This is an amazing little coffee shop in the heart of Mt. Airy. The service and staff are very friendly. I will definitely be back soon.

Great little spot on Germantown Avenue. Will makes great coffee at the bar or just grab bags of beans to go.

There were two ladies working the cafe but once someone placed an order, a line of people would quickly grow. I like that you can grab a coffee and/or cocktail and a pastry. The cocktails are cute and some taste better than others but overall good. Our table needed a wipe down and I was without my Clorox wipes since I changed my bag quickly to meet up with friends. They have a few bistro tables and chairs located outside which is great on nice days and evenings. Lastly, I don't mind the pan with the sign asking patrons to discard their cups and dishes in the pan. These removes the clutter that can quickly pile up on tables.

Love…read moretheir flavor of the week, and you can tell the curators are having fun with different flavors, herbs, and spirits. I also enjoy their coffee and treat myself to a pound of whole bean every few months. That said, their service leaves A LOT to be desired. On three different occasions recently, the service was unfriendly, slow, and borderline inhospitable. During my most recent visit, my friend arrived 10 minutes before me, sat in the bar area, and no one had even said hello to her. When I arrived, we sat for another 5-6 minutes. Nothing. Finally, I stood up and said "hi, can we order a few drinks," and the woman (who was on the phone the entire time) looked up, said nothing in response, walked over to us, and said "what can I get you?" It was a delicious cocktail, but we sat there for another 30 or so, finished our drink, and sat there again. We had to get up, put our coats on, and finally they looked our way, and I asked for the check. I've also noticed that there's usually 3-4 people working during peak hours, but in reality, only one person is putting in majority of the effort. The others are standing around talking or looking at their phones. Disappointing. Reality check, you're in the retail and customer service industry. You have to acknowledge your patrons. If this is the new norm, there are plenty of other places in the area with great cocktails. Hopefully they can turn it around, or hire new staff.
