This is a flagship store and is by far the best Adidas I've ever been to! there are pairs of sneakers available here, that are sold out everywhere else, which was pretty dope. I was visiting my family for the holidays and missed out on the online release for the static 700. I was bummed, but was meeting a friend on 5th Avenue and just noticed the line outside of this location. The staff inside and out (of the store) were so willing to help and even assured me that i wouldn't have an issue getting my size since there was a good amount left. Their process for hyped sneakers is absolutely the best in the country. I am thoroughly pleased with my pick up, and in complete awe of this store! Bravo staff bravo! read more

I came here. My cousin needed new shoes. The school she is swimming for is sponsored by addidas. But the shoes the team gives her I uses weren't cool enough or she just wanted another pair. We went to the second floor. The shoe area wasn't that big. I was surpprised. We were eminently greeted by 2 people. Asking if we needed help. One of them was the fitness and training coach Stephen. Awesome guy. He had my cousin run on the track. He put these little computer chips on her socks that allow him to see how she runs and calculates the best shoes for her. It was pretty cool. After she ran it showed that she runs with her heal to toe but has a outcurv. Interesting. The shoes it picked out they dident have in the one color. She tried a few other options. Long story short. Ended up not getting anything. But I filled out the survey for Stephen because he was awesome. read more

The store is massive; three stories! It's got a super modern and digital vibe on the ground floor where we were warmly greeted by the two gentlemen working there. Ladies shoes and clothing is on the bottom floor. Helen was awesome and handled the large crowd of women trying on shoes so well; she was patient and friendly. The store has a decent selection of women's shoes and apparel, so it's worth checking out when you're in the area. read more

As a big Adidas fan, this is definitely the coolest Adidas store that I have been to. All the employees were friendly while helping my friend and me out, and we were able to find most items that we wanted. I found it really interesting that this store allowed us to test their products by having designated testing areas. One of the floors (either second or third) has a track lane where you can test your shoes by running across it. The floor above that has a soccer testing area where you can try on the cleats. They have a little minigame where the walls are divided up into many squares and you try to shoot the ball into one of the squares when it lights up. You also get a score at the end, so it can be a fun way to test your shooting accuracy and whether you like the cleats or not. I also liked how there are benches (with outlets) in between the floors, so I could take a little break after walking so much in NYC. If you like Adidas products, definitely check this place out! read more

Nicole and Reuben helped me today, and they were both so helpful and friendly and fun we basically didn't want to leave. I'd like to give an update and say Channel turned a situation that left me disappointed into a beautiful testimony of kindness. I went to Adidas to make a purchase. I had met Channel from pervious xisits and we have a great rapport she is a bright spot when I visit the store. When I mentioned what happened in my pervious visit she was not pleased. She made up for the error in which we both felt was made. She went above and beyond it touched me so much I cried. Because I know she didn't have to do it. That's real humanity and kindness because she had absolutely nothing to gain. I really appreciate what happened. And am grateful. read more

Im so dissapointed with Adidas, I bought it online on Black Friday on sale , and I need to exchange color with same model. And I confirmed with them on the phone specificly that they ok with it, but after bringing the shoes all the way to Adidas store , they said I can't exchange color , and I need to paid the extra , spoke to TANISHA ( very rude ) and bringing the manager , they still said no.. so unprofessional. If they tell me that I can't do it, I will not waste my time to bring the shoes to the store. Just be carefull with all your purchase with Adidas.. they seriously not on the same page , even with the manager . The management adidas should take action. So disappointed in this store. Wanted me to leave my purse outside the fitting room! No bags or backpack policy. Yeah, don't think so!! The chairs are worn and torn, the fitting room is clean but not nice, not for 5th Ave. We shopped at Lululemon and Nike and felt welcome. But here at Adidas I feel like a criminal!! I had forgot to pack running clothes on a business trip, and I saw the adidas would be on my way to grand central so I stopped in. Lucky for me they have a free bag check with luggage lockers so I didn't have to wheel my bag around (might keep that in mind if I ever need to check a bag near grand central...) The store itself is really cool, the interior design incorporates elements of sporting venues so it's pretty fun to shop around in. I went in the middle of the day and it wasn't crowded at all, and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I'm more of a Nike fan myself, but I can see how this store would be really really cool for a adidas fan The selection of women's running clothes was pretty limited compared to what they have online (e.g. only 2-3 different shorts options, and only a handful of colors), however I was still able to find what I needed. In general, prices on everything I looked at seemed to be about $10-15 cheaper than Nike soho, which I had visited the previous day. Even though the selection of women's wear is small, they have good variety, and even have a athletic swimwear section. Their selection of menswear seemed to be bigger. read more

Very nice place and most of the staff were very friendly and quick to help out with any questions/needs/concerns. Also the person helping us was very patient with our shoe selection. We asked for a lot of shoes from the back to try on and he was always on top of things when getting them from the back and making sure it gets to us in a timely manner. Also adding that this was during holiday season so we were very impressed with their customer service. read more

the staff is so rude, i had looked online to check if they had a pair in my size available in store and it said they did so i went to try them on so i asked a guy working near the gazelles (there were 3 employees working there at the time) if he could check and he said no problem, initially it was taking awhile but i didn't mind because its a busy area and a busy time of day but i had noticed they were bringing everyone's shoes out but mine, people were asking for shoes and receiving them in a matter of minutes and i had been waiting like 20, i was assuming the guy would come and give an update on the shoes because he was standing there doing nothing and chatting with the other employees so he never did, so i went to approach him to get an update and he walked away as soon i was approaching him and also couldn't manage to get the attention of any other guy working there. at this point i was waiting 30+ minutes and had to leave. i came back the next day to check them out and the girl who helped me was very nice and told me exactly how the process worked and said she would give me an update asap and she did, although it said they had them in stock they didn't read more

Stopped in to find a replacement shoe after my Hoka's life reached their end. Adam helped me out and with a few questions, he had me in the right shoe. Sadly, my size was out of stock and we left empty handed. The shoe was perfect so I checked Adidas online and they only had 3 pairs left in my size. I ordered immediately. I'm literally not exaggerating when I say that every store is better if it's in NYC. No really, you already know this, I do not need to tell you. The Adidas store is no exception. Multi level, super fun inventory, location specific goods that you can only find in that one particular store. That's how they do it in NYC. It's brilliant marketing I suppose. You find yourself scrambling all over the city to find that specific location that had that specific jersey or tee shirt because it is indeed not at the next Adidas store you happen upon. Stopped by here with my wife to get shoes and sweat pants. Great location and I've always preferred adidas. We picked our stuff and took it to the checkout. My wife asked the cashier if she could use their restroom while I paid. The cashier said the restrooms were out of order as we watched an employee come out of the restroom... A place that doesn't respect its paying customers will not get my money. Needless to say, we left the merchandise on the counter and kept our money in our pockets. The darker your skin the less likely you'll get any service. I stood in the store looking at shoes for at least 20 minuets waiting to see if anyone would ask me a question about style or size and... nothing. Meanwhile customers who came in after me with lighter complexions were getting helped as soon as they stepped into the store. For an "NYC flagship store" of a large brand, this store is baffling. I went to buy some sneakers and they have so few shoes in stock. For some reason, they just have a wall of the left shoe of every shoe the store sells (which, again, is not many and not nearly as many as the Adidas website has). If you want to actually try on shoes, you have to flag down a salesperson to bring you shoes. When I went, there was just one salesperson (I think his name was Devon; he's the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 star), who was great and doing his absolute best to get everyone the shoes they wanted to try on, but it still takes much longer to get shoes than if they were just there to try on, like a regular shoe store. In such a huge store, I don't understand how they didn't have all the shoes on the website and all the sizes (or even the right shoes instead of just the left ones!) out for people to easily and quickly try on. The first floor appeared to be nothing but a showcase of mannequins - why not use this space to actually sell shoes properly? read more

Wow I love this store! There's 4 levels with a lot of merchandise. I got adidas tiro 17 for $27 which are so cute! My boyfriend bought a super cute long sleeved shirt that also looks really cute on him. We got matching beanies that are so warm for $20 each. I love that they have a bag check too so my boyfriend didn't have to hull all the luggage around not that he was complaining. The service was very good and personable! The dressing rooms are also very clean and the bleaches give a great view of the city. read more

I was very excited to check out this new Adidas location--although hesitant b/c of the location. (Great for foot traffic, terrible for most NY'ers who avoid midtown shopping.) Honestly, I was prepared to breeze through and be out the door in 10-15 minutes. (Like my experience at the new Nike store in Soho.) I was soooo wrong! First of all, the staff is great. Even though I wasn't trying anything on or seriously shopping the staff were all friendly and eager to help. Based on limited interaction it seemed like they really knew their stuff. I felt like their efforts were genuine which makes a huge difference in the experience. Being a new store, I was really pleased at how well-trained and attentive they were. (Much more so than the Soho store.) The space is large and I like the layout. The bleachers that face 5th Ave are great and they'll hopefully have live sporting events showing. If not, still a nice place to kick back and charge your devices. The selection of clothes and shoes seems pretty comprehensive. Top floor is all Originals and kids. 2nd floor is all women's performance. Lower level is all men's performance. Ground level is more like showroom, but includes the smoothie bar and the NYC kiosk. Bathrooms were large and clean (for now, at least!) Water fountains spotted all around. Good music made for a lively vibe. I hope they can keep up the good work at this location! read more

So, today was the fourth time I visited this store in an effort to get some World Cup jerseys personalized. Adidas is the official brand for several of the national teams (Germany, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Russia, Belgium, Japan, etc) - you would think they would have their act together when it came to this very simple task, but no...it is the fourth time in a row I have been told to "come back" because they don't have the players names. And no, they won't take my order or hold on to my already purchased jerseys to get this done asap, either. Today I spoke to a manger who took my name and finally my order and promised to get in touch to hopefully get me sorted. I really, really, really hope he follows through, because this level of disorganization at one of the leading brands is simply appalling. How can they not have stickers with players names by the hundreds or thousands when it comes to the world cup? Stickers take almost no physical space and are super cheap to print. This is something they do all the time and it involves no new technology whatsoever. Jerseys cost either $90 or $130 depending if you go for original vs. replica. Adding a name and number costs about $30 or so per jersey. The fact that they are losing important business by not having a 30 cent sticker handy is something that someone should take a very serious look into. The cashiers have offered me conflicting accounts on promotions, too. I was offered something on the third visit, which I was told on this visit was never a promotion they ran! Please train your staff and please be prepared for the World Cup. It happens every four years, and it is one of the most awaited sporting events worldwide so you should have ample time to figure out how to stock stickers in your flagship store. C'mon!!!!! The manager I spoke today was apologetic and seemed to 'get it'. I'll be updating my review once I hear (or don't hear) back from him - but for now I'm an extremely disappointed fan. read more

For some reason I didn't pack enough yoga pants this trip so I wandered in here because it was close to where I was staying. The prices were a little intimidating since I have plenty of yoga pants at home but the staff was really friendly and approachable. I'm not a huge Adidas fan but occasionally I'll check them out. This happens to be right by my office so it was convenient enough to swing by. It's a huge store but kind of full of nothing. I wasn't sure what the first floor was for so I went straight to the second for the women's section. Instead of walking up the stairs, I decided to wait for the elevators but I probably should have walked up the stairs because their elevators were super slow. But while I was waiting, I noticed a female security guard by the side entrance kept giving me the up and down look. It made me feel really uncomfortable. I don't know what was going through her mind but I felt mentally violated. It was the most annoying and agonizing wait ever. The women's section had a lot of inventory but they seem to run out of the smaller sizes in terms of apparel. I also find their material to be cheaper than Nike's yet their prices are about the same. If you're looking for the Originals line, they are on the 3RD floor. This is probably the most popular section of the store because of the Originals sneakers line. Other than that, this entire store feels more like a museum than a shopping experience. The staff members neither greet or put a smile on. It's a bit intimidating. read more

I ordered a pair of sneakers online during Cyber Week, with the assurance that they would be available to pick up on the same day. Unfortunately, they were not ready for pick-up for a couple more days, during which I was unavailable. I tried calling the store, but they never answered the phone or returned my call after leaving a voice message with my name and phone number, as requested. Online customer service responded, but they were not able to extend the pick-up time frame or apply a price adjustment for the item I had been trying to obtain. I understand that their online store and in-person store run differently, but I think it should be made more clear. They should not have quoted that my order would be ready for pick up on the same day I placed it. They should answer phone calls if they have a phone number listed on their website, Google Maps, etc. Other brands are easily able to address these issues. I'm disappointed in Adidas's lack of customer service skills and empathy from their phone representatives. I still love their shoes, so I will be sure to purchase from other vendors, such as Nordstrom, which is always more than helpful. read more

Yeah I came in looking to buy a pair of blue navy Ultra Boost sneakers for work. It's not like these shoes are cheap by any stretch. I was standing around looking like an asshole for 15 minutes, not one store employee looked at me. After a while I found it comical how they could not even smile, look at me for a second and say be right with you or need any help?
