Adirondack Moving Company was amazing! I couldn't have gone through such a stressful time without them. I moved 4 hours from upstate to NYC. They all treated me so well - from Suzanne in the office who handles the logistics and estimates, to Nick, the owner who called to reassure me everything would run like clockwork for the weekend and fielded all my questions, to Anthony + Jordan who moved all my belongings quickly, carefully and with great attitudes. It was a complicated move involving 2 pickup locations and 2 dropoff locations, including storage. Everything went so well and they treated all of my things so well that all my stuff made it through with flying colors. They were so efficient that the job came in under the estimate! I needed to move to another state for a new position and Suzanne was responsive, helpful and very, very efficient. The company really cares about taking care of the customer and it shows every step of the way. Anthony and Jordan were wonderful movers -- polite, on time, very careful about fragile items, and fast and efficient. They clearly took pride in doing a professional job. Also, the paperwork follow through is detailed and clear, which I appreciated for submission to my employer for reimbursement. They stored my belongings for around 2 weeks before the final move and everything arrived in excellent condition. I've been moved numerous times both internationally and domestically by larger corporate movers, but Adirondack ranks right up there with the best of the best. I didn't know what to expect with movers, but as a single mom moving from a 4 bedroom home into a 2 bedroom apartment, I knew I was going to need help. Suzanne was delightful to speak with and made scheduling SO easy. I even called to request we change the date to a sooner date and they accommodated immediately. She outlined what to expect and gave me an estimated hours/cost upfront. The movers showed up timely and were super respectful and friendly. They moved all of my large/awkward/heavy items with ease! It is very typical of me to leave a review, not at all typical to leave 5 stars, more than likely because I am a self proclaimed perfectionist truly taking tasks to heart as if they were being done for myself or family. Well, Dustin and Adam from ADK Moving handled a move within NY State from Orange County to Warren County with care and consideration as if they were moving their own family. Every box every piece of furniture was placed where it was supposed to be, not one item was broken and these guys hustled. I HIGHLY recommend Adirondack Moving Company!! I moved from Lake George to Massachusetts on March 30. First off, the price was very reasonable. The movers showed up right at 7:30, had the truck packed in 1 1/2 hours, and we were on the road by 9 AM. They arrived at my new house 10 minutes after I did. They guys were so nice and had me unpacked in one hour - everything put where it needed to be. There was an old washing machine left on the curb and they asked if I wanted them to take it - instead of waiting for the town to take it for me. They are very quick didn't take any breaks (even though they definitely could have) & I was thrilled with their service.
