Great communication initially when getting a quote and setting up the appointment. You do have to put down a deposit. For us, it was $50. Fast forward to a couple days prior to the move, I texted and no response. Texted again the next day to try to get confirmation they were going to show up and again no response. Texted from a different phone number pretending to get a quote and what do you know, he texts back. Thank god they actually showed up, albeit 15 minutes late. I will say they were polite and put our stuff where we told them. However, they damaged TWO of our dressers (took an entire corner off both) and didn't reimburse for either of them. Didn't give a discount, just apologized and charged the full price. Each one of the dressers cost $300. read more

I had a bad experience when I last moved 2 1/2 years ago. That other company jacked up the price during the move and some items went missing. So glad I found Reliable this time because the experience was night and day. Reliable quoted the job at a reasonable price, stuck to their quote, was respectful of my directions and possessions and finished the job on time. I hired reliable movers to move my very large furniture. I told the owner, Paris that I had 3 very large armoires,2 very large dressers , 2 large hutches an entertainment cabinet and a 750 pound hot tub. He agreed to the job and gave me a very reasonable price. when the 3 young men arrived,the were very unprepared. they only had 1furniture Dolly,no appliance Dolly or hand truck. They did manage to load the furniture into the truck undamaged but they weren't covering anything. I gave them several blankets to cover the furniture to protect it. Then it was time to move the hot tub they weren't sure how to move it my husband had to direct them and gave them by fours to move it we finally got it into the truck and drove to Massachusetts. When they arrived and opened the truck nothing had been tied down and several pieces were left uncovered. There were multiple pieces of furniture that had fallen into one another creating many gouges and scrapes to the furniture. While moving the hot tub they broke one small window in my greenhouse and scuffed up the hot tub in a few places. when all was said and done, we were only reimbursed $200 for all the damage. I will say, they were very nice and personable. they were also very persistent and determined in moving the hot tub. I really wasn't sure they were going to get it onto the truck. I also appreciated that they sincerely apologized for the damage and one even offered to come back and fix the window another time which I declined.I do think they worked very hard but bit off a little more than they could chew. read more

I needed a mover and after looking at a number of companies I called Reliable Movers. they were fantastic. Their pricing was fair, they showed up on time, and they moved in a number of family pieces including a large table that was from my great grandmother. (the table and share were built in the 185O's. On time, care-full taking care of the things you love, fair pricing, and they are good good guys. I don't want to move again but if I do I would work with them again. read more

I requested moving services about 9:00PM and was surprised to have two responses within fifteen minutes. One of the responses was from Reliable Movers. I emailed them back and we came to agreement for me to call the next day to secure time and date. I called and talked with Parris. The date was set for December 31st and the time set for 9:00AM due to my schedule. Parris arrived on time wiuth the truck and his partner Taj. They were very professional. polite and never tpook a break during the move. The were very professional, efficient and polite. They loaded the truck met my daughter at the delivery site and continued their professionalism and efficiency.
