Different story. Haven't played on a worse course. Standing water, ripped greens, no obstacles; just plain falling apart. Shameful.

The whole family (there are no rapids; I recommend ages 11+) can feel connected to nature and that've had an enjoyable half day laid back kayak excursion in the Adirondacks. I made a kayak trip with my lady with this business, and then I came back again with family. The outfitters and staff are small town friendly.

After deciding against those other motels we popped into this one hoping for a room. My wife went into the office to see if they had a room available and luckily they did. When we checked out the room the first thing I noticed was a clean smell. Over the years when we have gone to these small motels one of the first thing's I notice is a musty smell but not here. The room smelled clean and was clean. When we signed in the owner asked us if we had any plans and we told him no. The owner gave us a number of ideas as to what we could do in the area and pointed us in there directions. The owner also pointed out that he offered coffee and tea in the office. We settled into our room and decided to walk into the business / tourist area which is about 1 km away. A very easy walk with lots to see on the way. As we were walking to the tourist area the motel the owner came over to us and let us know that he had 2 bicycles that the guests could use. They were new cruisers, a men's and a woman's. Our first and second night's the bed was comfortable the air conditioner wasn't too loud and keept the room cool. The shower was a stand up, no tub which I prefer in a motel or hotel. The shower had lots of room. The owner also offered a movie at night on an outdoor screen for the kids.

I also recommend the Pastel Exhibition, and if they are having the Central Adirondack Art Show expect inexpensive art from locals of variable ability. 3. You want one of those Adirondacks posters that are everywhere. 4. You need an impressive venue for your wedding, or or gathering. It's space is outrageously beautiful, you barely have to decorate, and it makes you look cultured. 5. It's tie dye Tuesday. They also have workshops for all ages and paint on pottery.

How to describe the chocolate ice cream. It was soft serve with chocolate lines throughout - however it was actually more like a bowl of soup with a teeny teeny dot of ice cream in the middle. As for hauling your camper, don't be surprised if they stick you in a small site or a site with 30 amp. They may ask you for your specs but it doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to selecting a site for you and your camper. Be sure to have a 50 amp adapter if you require one before coming.

They are always doing preventive maintenance on the buildings, sites and cleaning up the sites. The laundry room and restrooms are clean. The staff are professionals, courtesy, and friendly. Willing to assist on matters all the times. The front desk staff are exceptional. The park is close to downtown and the water park. Catch the bus/shuttle or walk. We have made our reservations for next year already to get insure we get our favorite campsite. Make your reservations early for a site or in the cabin. We have that ADK fever! Thanks for the Campground Management and staff for making our great experience and welcoming stay. This a five star campground.

The end room was very quiet, the water was hot and the shower pressure was much better than what is usually found. The blackout curtains actually close all the way, and the windows actually open! Mini fridge/freezer and microwave worked well. Extra towels and washcloths were provided in the room, since, due to covid, rooms are not being cleaned daily for multi day stays. Also, extras were available at the office. Wifi was sometimes slow; TV had problems, but probably the cable provider's fault (Spectrum). Bed could have been firmer, but manager offered to put boards under it if needed. Could use some TLC in terms of paint, etc, but would readily book here again.
