They asked for my address and phone number, to see if I was in their service area…read more No reply when I sent them the information. I resent a query and they responded that I would get a call the next day. Still haven't received a call...it would have been nice to know if they were too busy or the job was too small. I have moved on to another company

Jami was awesome to work with. To begin, she was extremely responsive. Some other blind companies…read morewere quoting a couple weeks before they could give come measure and put together a quote and Jami was out in about two days! She had plenty of options for types of blinds, styles, fabrics, options, etc. She listened to our needs and recommended products based off that. And her pricing is extremely fair. We knew going into this that nice window coverings weren't going to be cheap, but some other places quoted more than a new car! Jami came in exactly in the ballpark that we were originally expecting (hoping), and we didn't have to compromise on our quality or style. She was spot on with her timeline. Even in the midst of the pandemic where everything is delayed, the blinds were installed on the days we were originally scheduled (about a month after we purchased). That consistency says a lot! The installation was seamless as well. Jami and her installer, Michael, arrived exactly when they said they would (no 4 hour window)! And Michael was cleaning up and packing up within minutes of when she said they'd be done. We will definitely find Jami for any future needs and we have already recommended her to a few friends!

The staff at Zinga's is impressively professional…read more Chris was a pleasant and detail oriented installer as was his assistant, and Fred the manager. Tracy in sales was very helpful when there was a hiccup after my original sales contact resigned. And Marissa, well she is one of the most professional, kind and understanding representatives of a business that I have encountered. She replied promptly, always provided updates when promised and highly contributed to a successful installation.

When we first ordered the custom shades for our home (close to $30k), we were very happy. Sales…read moreprocess was very good, initially. When installation was done, several shades were not done correctly and required a personal visit from upper management to agree to reorder the right size. We purchased a second home and used Zingas again. This time, it was a color issue. Again, it took MANY calls, emails, etc to get someone to take a look and realize the color was wrong! They did ultimately reorder them, but the process was terrible, frustrating, etc. Since then, we have been happy with the shades, including many motorized shades. The biggest issue now is the service process. It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone. Requiring customers to do all the paperwork online, and then wait until its convenient for them to reply is awful. I'm not sure what happened, but not having a live person answer the phone for service is a huge mistake. I cannot recommend them any longer.

The Window Valet - Trim was falling off. There was nothing to keep it in place because it sat so far past the frame

Josh was a great salesperson helping me to skip so many options and presenting what he thought met…read morethe criteria I wanted. We were happy to see his recommendations and made the choice quickly and easily. The zebra blinds are something new and are great fabric addition. The motorized rollers are great, and work well and make life a lot easier for our bay window. Dale his installer was here and did an outstanding job removing the old and replacing the new. We had seven windows which he got done in less than 2 hours. I was very impressed with the organized way he did things and his pleasant banter throughout. Thanks Dale great to have someone so efficient. It was a very painless and well executed sell and install. Would recommend this company to anyone, any time. The Window Valet is the way to go people.

I believe this company has lost its luster…read more They were "five star" when I had 25 window blinds and four electric blinds installed eight years ago in my new house. The product was good and the installation was flawless. But now eight years later they seem to put the customer last. This evaluation stems from a recent encounter when I requested help from the company after a battery for one of my electric blinds wouldn't accept a charge. Their immediate recommendation was to replace the motors for all four electric blinds at a cost around $1,000. Needless to say, I was stunned by their recommendation. I was pretty sure it was either a bad battery or a bad charger. They offered to send a technician out to assess my problem as long as I agreed to pay a $150 trip charge. Well that offer just sucked all the joy out of me. Instead, I asked if I could speak with a technician so I could describe what I discovered after conducting some basic testing. They said they would have someone call me, but nobody did. Further testing supported my belief that the charger was bad. I found an exact replacement online for the device I had, but the manufacturer had discontinued it. That told me everything I needed to know. I found another charger on Amazon for $15 and it was delivered the next day. Thank you Amazon. The new charger worked. Problem solved. I have to say I was extremely happy that $15 for a new charger saved me from spending $1000 to replace four window blind motors.......plus a $150 trip charge (eye roll here) .... :). Bottom line: they might still do good installations, but their follow-up support needs some work.
