They did ultimately reorder them, but the process was terrible, frustrating, etc. Since then, we have been happy with the shades, including many motorized shades. The biggest issue now is the service process. It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone. Requiring customers to do all the paperwork online, and then wait until its convenient for them to reply is awful. I'm not sure what happened, but not having a live person answer the phone for service is a huge mistake. I cannot recommend them any longer.

I believe this company has lost its luster…read more They were "five star" when I had 25 window blinds and four electric blinds installed eight years ago in my new house. The product was good and the installation was flawless. But now eight years later they seem to put the customer last. This evaluation stems from a recent encounter when I requested help from the company after a battery for one of my electric blinds wouldn't accept a charge. Their immediate recommendation was to replace the motors for all four electric blinds at a cost around $1,000. Needless to say, I was stunned by their recommendation. I was pretty sure it was either a bad battery or a bad charger. They offered to send a technician out to assess my problem as long as I agreed to pay a $150 trip charge. Well that offer just sucked all the joy out of me. Instead, I asked if I could speak with a technician so I could describe what I discovered after conducting some basic testing. They said they would have someone call me, but nobody did. Further testing supported my belief that the charger was bad. I found an exact replacement online for the device I had, but the manufacturer had discontinued it. That told me everything I needed to know. I found another charger on Amazon for $15 and it was delivered the next day. Thank you Amazon. The new charger worked. Problem solved. I have to say I was extremely happy that $15 for a new charger saved me from spending $1000 to replace four window blind motors.......plus a $150 trip charge (eye roll here) .... :). Bottom line: they might still do good installations, but their follow-up support needs some work.

The screen door fell apart within the year. The front door has warped and we are unable to open it. Another doors on the garage wad not properly install and did a quick fix. If I would do over again I would have gone with another company for the doors. The windows they seem fine just the length of time to get them installed.

Our family had an incredibly disappointing experience with Worthington. We're converting attic space into an additional bedroom and approached Worthington in July in hopes that they might be the right company to bring the project to fruition. They pitched themselves as a white glove service that would handle all aspects and coordination of the project from tip to tail in a timely manner. We were willing to pay a premium for that service which is why we were so alarmed when right off the bat it seemed we had to push to get anything done, even getting an updated contract for a feasibility study took over two weeks. Once we signed the contract and paid for the study it took numerous points of contact and more than two weeks before we were informed when the study would be completed, without even checking with us to see if we were available. In the midst of all this chaos we decided to go with another company that was more proactive and communicative. We informed Worthington that because of all of these difficulties we weren't moving forward with the study and politely requested a refund for the study that was never completed. The designer we worked with was apologetic and agreed that a refund was acceptable given the fact that the study hadn't been completed and her lack of responsiveness. After a week went by without a refund or any communication, we reached out again only to have an extremely rude woman tell us that there will be no refund for the incomplete study and accepted zero responsibility for our disappointing experience. The disrespect she showed our family during this conversation was shocking and has no place in a conversation with any customer. If this is the way Worthington does business, we consider ourselves lucky to have only lost the initial fee instead of paying a massive premium for a lengthy and frustrating home renovation experience.

She and Holly worked so well together syncing up on design ideas. Holly kept our decisions in-budget and on-time. She is simply amazing! When it came to our general contractor working with the construction crew at Chateau, our GC said they were very good to work with. From my perspective, they worked as a united team. It was easy to work with Chateau. They sell excellent products with many choices to fit any person's taste. They came to our house in the beginning, took measurements, talked to us about the process. We agreed upon the cost. Got things ordered and started the project. There was great communication throughout the project. We always felt that Chateau had our back and that our project was important to them. They cared that we would get the kitchen we wanted and that it was designed in a way that we would continue to enjoy it. There is an extra service you can elect to pay for related to design. We did pay for this. It allows the designer to keep helping throughout the project. Some people may not want this and if that is you, you can elect not to have it. My suggestion is to get it.
