I actually reached out to these folks after doing some searches for leaf cleanup because my current lawn mowing company wanted an astronomically laughable price to do it and refused to only do one cleanup at the end of the year (saying they would only do the service if I paid them twice for two separate cleanups...why?). We met with a lot of contractors, and most of them offered a fair estimate in the ball park of ADM, but ADM was extremely precise about the work that would be done in their written estimate, and they had a good online presence demonstrating they use high tech equipment, and demonstrating an overwhelming consensus of very happy customers going back over a decade. For all of that we felt ADM was the best value for money. The staff we interacted with were all extremely professional and seemed to care about customer service. The team showed up as scheduled (within the week!) with all of their fancy equipment to remove three trees and clean up a maple tree for us. We also asked them after they arrived if they could give an estimate to tidy a large cherry blossom tree, and the estimate for the tidy was beyond fair and they did that for us same day. Importantly, I accidentally overpaid and their office contacted me immediately to inform me. So that was nice, and just kind of cemented in my mind that this is an honest company that does honest work and cares about fostering good will. We're happy with the work they did. They were respectful of our property and didn't annoy neighbors by creating needless chaos on our street. The men seemed like a good team from what I observed. Our maple tree looks so much better. We have a lot of needed mulch now from ground tree stump so that's great too. We were also given some advice about how to control/kill invasive wisteria, and when other trees might be due for trimming or even removal. So being given an assessment of our landscape was appreciated. I'll definitely be keeping this company in my contact list, will send referrals their way, and will certainly be calling them again. They never provided a response back. If you don't want to entertain the job after setting up an appointment, just say so. To just ghost a potential customer is not good business practice. read more

I reached out on a Monday, later the same day the estimator met me to look at the work (trimming of four trees that were close to our house). I got the estimate that afternoon and my questions answered on Tuesday morning. We agreed to a very reasonable price and set up the work to be done Wednesday. The crew came right on time, were extremely courteous, did the work quickly and efficiently, and left our yard looking great. The work was outstanding and we couldn't be more pleased. Adan came out and gave me an estimate to do various things. Everything went well however after talking to my partner, we determined that the cost was a bit too high for us right now and so we wanted to change the estimate to remove some of the work. However the price didn't change much so I was a bit shocked and asked Adan how much the price of the service I wanted to remove from the estimate was. (Which was the highest/probably priciest part of the job imo however now i'll never know) He just replied: "I think you want to play games. Have good day" I was asking a legitimate question I thought but you guys can be the judge of that. I didn't quite expect it from this company since it's got pretty good reviews overall. read more

If I could rate a zero star then I will. The guy who came out to my house in the morning gave me an estimate for the work. I agreed to the amount and job. Then at around 12:48pm the same day, I send them a Yelp's message to cancel the work. They acknowledged (see attached). The next day, they show up for the work when I already have some else doing the job. They said they will invoice me for $175 (see text message attached). So I cancel the work and they still show up to charge me $175 for not doing nothing. Do not go with this company. Whose know what other shady things they do. read more

There's only one business rule that matters: SHOW UP especially for estimate appointments. My estimate was scheduled for today (on a Monday morning) at 9:00 am. I explained to the scheduler that the estimate was for a rental property and confirmed -- specifically -- that the estimator could show up promptly at 9am on a Monday. I was emphatically and enthusiastically told yes. Guess what? 8:58 am the estimator called to say he couldn't make it until noon or later. The whole point of confirming for 9am in advance was that anything later wouldn't work. It goes without saying that my time was wasted. It is pretty frustrating because I went out of my way to confirm the time/day -- which wasn't per my request, it was the scheduler's suggestion! What more can a good client do except to confirm, confirm, confirm???? Last-minute cancellation = Not cool. read more

Being a local company was one of the factors why I chose them. The initial date of service had to be reschedule because of another job on their end, but the communication was good and they were transparent as to the reason for rescheduling. It did not take them long to complete all the work which included removing some large branches 30 feet off the ground.
