In fact, they had multiple team members reach out to myself and my neighbor, whom we did a project together (tree removal). The project walk-through was excellent and the quote came the same day. I liked when the customer representative walked through with me, asked if I was a veteran (and I am), and provided me a veteran discount. The quote was obviously the best, as we went with them, but even if another vendor came in at the same price, I would probably go with JL Tree bc of their responsiveness. I had one vendor who didn't call me back for over 30 days! The day of the project was excellent. The foreman and I walked through the project (three tree removals). He walked the premise with me, took his time to explain and make suggestions. I had this what I called a multi trunk maple tree and several other trees that were growing for years without maintenance, and the branches were reaching all the way back to my back deck, and completely shading my backyard. We ended up deciding to cut the offending overhanging branches of the maple tree, and taking branches off the other tree and on the tree that was blocking my attic fan. Scott and his crew come over early in the morning and worked thru the day. I spend some time watching and talking with Scott as he and his crew worked, and I could see these were a well seasoned experience crew with the right equipment, tools and safety equipment; especially for the tree climber. Just watching them work I was impressed. The way they moved the ropes, the ease in which they threw some sort of bob line into the trees with ease and accuracy, and how they segmented the cuts of the tree branches and safely roped them down I was impressed. Very polite and friendly crew, unfortunately I did not speak Spanish where our conversation would of been more in depth. They brought in their heavy equipment as needed, cherry picker truck, shredder, dump trucks. Clean up was exceptional, once they were done it looked as if they were never there. Now I have no more tree branches blocking the sunlight in my back yard. Great Work, Scott makes it happens and his crew is exceptional. I highly recommend them to others that are in the Northern Virginia area that needs tree work done.
