If I recall correctly, I was seventeen when I visited a drive in last. I guess it would be safe to say we were in a classic vehicle (just because of the time lapse). :) Philbrook hosted a members' event last week. Rumble Fish was the feature to help celebrate Jason Lee's photographs. The artist previewed some of his works prior to the film. (Rumble Fish was an inspiration for him.) What a great setting to see a 1982 black and white Tulsa skyline on the big screen. Visiting the Admiral has always been on our list, so we're thankful that Philbrook forced our hand and made us go! (While the concession was large and workers very friendly, the popcorn was less than average.) :(

It is so wonderful to still have real drive in theaters to visit! Top it off with a Turn Tulsa Pink Event and it is the best! We came for the car show and stayed for the showing of Outsiders. If you didn't know... This is the very drive in it was filmed at! So awesome to watch it there! Closed now for the winter but can't wait till next season!

Bigger blond boy and I'm guessing some form of management blew an accident out of portion and made a harmless mistake a bigger deal than needed be. Ended up not supporting at the concession stand as our intentions were and went back and enjoyed our second movie. Please work on improving customer service I've always enjoyed this place and would love to be greeted by kind and tasteful staff. Not a upset boy who thinks he's management and management that also did nothing to deescalate a situation that never should have even gotten that far. Update after watching secondmovie --- our second movie was sooo dark. Definitely dampened the experience even more -Loving Admiral Twin Family

Who doesn't love a drive in movie!? My fiance and i went and saw Spiderman and Despicable Me 3. They were both great but i think we were wishing we had a radio to sit next to our lawn chairs. However, rolling down the windows and cranking the radio worked great. I love that they provide food options but you can easily bring your own. A Tulsa classic!

Tulsa, Oklahoma -- The Route 66 "Admiral Drive-In Theater" since 1951 has a 1000+ car capacity ... 1 of the approximately 330 USA drive-in theaters left from a one-time high of 4,000 drive-in movie theaters in the USA ... I have been to single screen, dual screens & even a triple screen drive-in movies, but my 1st back-to-back screen over the concession stand ... To my surprise, tonite was Veteran's Appreciation Night ... FREE admission to all veterans, plus a goody bag! "Run-A-Way Bill" was here! #RunAwayBill #DUSA2017 #Route66RunAwayBill #HistoricRoute66 09.29.17

the cashier person made a mistake of giving me the wrong order and charged m quickly on my debit card . then i reordered the correct order of snacks or food he told me that I'll be re funded as an error on my bank account but it was not corrected and was charge twice. Saturday night movie $12.00 and $9.00

This theatre is great! It brings you box office hits while being in the comfort of your car! Stop and get your favorite to go, lay the seats down and relax this is the place to watch a movie! Make sure to bring chairs or a blanket so you can sit outside.

This is a great place to take the family. My wife and I bring our chairs and sit outside and the kids have blankets and sit inside the Van with the tailgate up. The concession is reasonably priced. My favorite part is that I get to bring the whole family and watch two movies for the price of one.

This was so fun! The outdoor sound system is old and outdated but you can also use your car's radio for sound. The picture quality was surprisingly decent. The concession stand options are limited but were ok.

Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball in this 1953 comedy about honeymooning in an RV. A must-see!

Amazing piece of history and Americana. Open now every day of the week. Safe, fun, and family-friendly. Much cheaper than theaters! The concession stand is how they make their money, so buying food there helps keep them open and creates jobs. At the very least try the popcorn... which I recommend. All the food is great. The restrooms and facilities are new, clean, and have music piped into them! We cannot afford to lose this piece of history in Tulsa. Go as often as you can! So glad we fought to keep this open after it burned a few years ago. It is a fact that there are less than 400 drive-in theaters across America currently. We are lucky to have a rare double-screen drive-in! Most only ever had one screen. Looking forward to seeing you out there for a true Tulsa experience.

My friends and I went bowling and it was a lot of fun. I like they have non-traditional options for bowling as well as traditional. I also tried some of the food and it was pretty decent, a little expensive, but nothing too crazy. I got the southwest egg rolls and they were pretty good. The dipping sauce it came with was very good. I am comparing them to Chili's however and Chili's is still my number one for this type of food. My friend had chicken strips and said they were good others got pizza and loved it so I think across-the-board the food is good. I've had their funnel cake fries before and love those. I like that it's a fun environment and that there's lots of options. Our lane for bowling was having some issues and I mentioned it to the guys and they gave us some extra time which I appreciated, but this is a really fun space for all ages and all people.

Employees are helpful, space is clean, security on site for that added peace of mind. The popcorn is fresh and seasoned perfectly, the soda fountain is crisp and they have a lot of food options. Food is a bit pricey... but everything is wherever you go. For instance a burger and fries will run you $15.00 + tax. Cheese curds $10.99 + tax. Etc... The chairs recline all the way back and they have swivel trays in-front of you with a service call button. Very comfortable and convenient. They also have an arcade, escape room and bowling. Cinergy is also right across the mall making this a great night out. Retail therapy and a movie! You should check it out!

We had seats in one of the theaters on the second level, which first of all I did not know they had theater on the second level. I tried an Italian soda that was so good and very affordable for the size of the drink. I also tried some pretzel bites that came with beer cheese and spicy mustard. The portion size was actually quite large though still a little expensive but it's a movie theater so I did not mind. the fact that they bring all this to you and wait on you is just amazing. The seats recline they're comfortable. I love the smaller size theater. It was not too cold but very comfortable. There's trays that move on on the seats so you can have your food. I have won many things on Facebook and most businesses will accommodate if I can not pick up the prize or get the meals from restaurants until my days off work or schedule can accommodate.Sometime I need to get the day off to drive to another city or I want my son that lives out of town to join me. Not once have I been met with a "No" or bad customer service. Until now. I won 2 tickets to Tower Drive In. I asked them if they could move the tickets until I get paid so I could take my other 3 kids and get concessions. I also live almost an hour away from them so my son coming from out of town would be making close to a 3 hour trip to get from Fayetteville,to Fort Smith and than to Poteau. They do not understand that some people can not just drop what they are doing and be able to drive an hour away on one days notice. They post the drawing on Tuesday and announce the winners on Friday for tickets that can only be used that weekend and Friday or Saturday only. Ridiculous to give a 1/2 day notice. I wrote them a nice letter explaining my situation and asking if they could move the prize until another date. The reply back was very rude. With Blah, blah, blah. Preferential treatment. Blah Blah. It's called good customer service not preferential treatment. Perhaps Tower Drive In can learn from River City Bistro, Ozark Natural Foods and other businesses I've won from. It is better to accommodate a customer than lose a customer. I would never give this place my business again. I have all my PM's from these rude folks saved.Terrible customer service and business practices. The worst. To say that they can't accommodate the few because others will get mad is ridiculous. How would anyone even know? They just don't want to be courteous. Sad.
