This is one of my favorite Admirals Club locations! It is incredible spacious with great food and friendly staff. It's also surprisingly entirely empty which is crazy - I would expect a ton of people here with how nice it is, but we were the only ones here in the entire lounge! Great views of the airplanes as well with the giant glass windows.

This was my first time in the Pittsburgh AC and I'm happy to report I enjoyed every minute of it. The PIT Admiral's Club is now open 7 days a week. Several others have noted their hours as a complaint, worry no more! The space is great and not crowded at all, despite being in at a busy time. Plenty of seating was available throughout. As always, snacks and drinks were readily available. This time around, I ordered the Mediterranean salad with salmon. At a price point of $20 total, it's a great deal for a healthy meal before your next flight. The greens were very fresh. The bartender was very pleasant and fast with service. I hope she's working again next time I'm in town!

One of the cleanest clubs I've ever been to and has the best food out of any other club and I've been to many and excellent service as well. Always greeted with a smile and make you feel welcome. if I could give it 10 stars, I would.

I travel to PIT occasionally for business and on a recent trip got to enjoy the AA lounge while waiting for my plane to board.... I have to say that THIS is the preferred way to spend time waiting for your flight! I don't want to increase the amount of people that come here (unless you're going to be QUIET, COURTEOUS and RESPECTFUL), but it's worth knowing that there are better ways to wait for your flight than with all the amateur travelers with their families and annoyances. (I have a family and taught my child how to travel at an early age, something he's now quite well-adapted at and he's never run amuck in the terminal, crawled on the dirty floor nor bugged others.) This lounge was very laid back, quiet and allowed me to be effective in getting a lot of work done in the nearly 2 hours I waited there before heading to my terminal. The staff was very attentive and active in ensuring all the guests had a good experience. In fact, I saw a few guests who knew the staff because they come here often and the staff treated them just as great as they did a first timer, like me. I just wish the AA lounges would do a better job with their food (gratis) offerings, like the Centurion Lounges do. I'm a member at both and prefer the Centurion 10X over the AA lounges... I'm glad I don't pay for this lounge, it's not worth the fee. But for free, it's great!

Pittsburgh admiral's club is CLOSED on the weekends. Is my membership fee reduced by 2/7ths? What a piece of cr#p! Another reason to fly United.

Definitely not worth the 450 dollars a year price tag. Some coffee, pop, few chips , humus, guacamole. Really?

Unrecognizable, refreshed, and revitalized PIT has drastically changed!…read more The construction project complete PIT no longer has the tram, the people movers stand quiet, the tunnel to long term parking is closed, and in its place is a completely new look! The word that comes to mind is expansive as the lobbies and walkways are wide with cathedral height ceilings in places. There is a lot of eye candy from the floor inlays capturing the city's monuments to the small lights in the ceiling that makes it feel like a twinkling night sky. It is beautiful, clean, and polished looking with many tech additions. The downside is that the convenience that once existed in certain areas are gone. Easy access to long term parking is no more with shuttles as the primary method of transport. Not sure if they are going to replace the people movers, the moveable walkways, but if not that makes the airport even more expensive feeling but not in a good way. I appreciated the changes to the TSA checkpoint as it was much faster but the new x-ray system turns out to be slower as it automates the bins. I found myself waiting five minutes for my items to slowly move through the system with no sense of urgency. These small complaints do not negate the improvements! I miss the Rex fossil, but wow I can't help but be impressed with the changes! It is so nice!

This is one of the better airports in a major market in the eastern half of the US. From the layout…read more(shaped as an X) to the quick curb-to-gate, PIT has the jump on many airports of similar market size. Drop-off & arrival pick-ups are on different levels (several remodeled airports are doing this) and that helps with congestion. It's just a short walk to security and once you're past that, you walk into a part of the old terminal that has a spacious concourse approach. Food options are separated a bit from the corridors allowing foot traffic to flow better. Plus the food & drink options are pretty solid, from the known to the local, and they're open early (think 5:30 AM-ish). There are Pittsburgh touches (a LOT of things are black & gold) and clean restrooms, making the travel experience much easier. Flying nowadays can be chaotic, so when an airport is doing things right, the average traveler can avoid that dreaded airport stress.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Loved the ambiance - felt high end without being stuffy…read more My husband and I got 2 very interesting cocktails- one was like a spicy dill margarita and one was a dirty martini with a black pepper/curry taste to it. The dirty martini was fairly pungent and strong so not sure I would get it again but I'm also not big on dirty martinis so probably just the wrong choice on my part. But the food was the star of the show. We ate so many good dishes- starting with the rainbow platter. Loved the baba ghanoush and the roasted cauliflower - those were my favorite of the 7 dishes on the platter. We also ordered the labneh, hummus with chicken and lamb shawarma, and the kafta kebabs (rolled up in some sort of tortilla) which were all fantastic! If we come back (which we will) I would just order the baba ghanoush instead of the rainbow platter, all the other dishes we ordered, and maybe one additional plate. I felt like I didn't really need the Israeli salad (tomato and cucumber) or the pickled cauliflower and radish that came on the rainbow platter. The hummus was SO soft and fluffy. This was some of the best food we've had in Pittsburgh. After having lived in a Philly for 4 years, we know good mediterranean/lebanese food and I'd be surprised if you can find better in Pittsburgh. Service was also very good.

We got drinks and 4 mezze / small plates. I liked my kiss my anise cocktail. It's rye based and was peppery and lightly sweet. My husband's cocktail was slightly sweeter and smoky. We shared four plates. I thought the stuffed grape leaves were a little slimy, but otherwise delicious. The Pierogi peppers were the most interesting item for me. They were pierogi filling in a sweet pepper with crispy onion on top-kudos on that dish! Out other two plates were the seared ahi tuna which had a nice savory crust and the chicken souvlaki, which was pretty standard. Our server was friendly and pleasant. The space was beautiful. Would highly recommend coming here for cocktails and small plates, the pizza at other tables looked pretty tasty too!

Our server was excellent and the auxiliary staff were courteous and efficient. We started with a calamari appetizer which was a little spicy but delicious. Beware of the two Thai chilies in the mix! Next my husband had the lobster bisque. It was quite rich with a large chunk of lobster as a garnish. Our main courses were a 10 ounce filet, wild caught shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and Chilean sea bass. Everyone loved their entrees. Our son especially loved the filet, it was so tender. We ordered two side dishes for the table and they were plenty for the three of us. Decadent lobster mashed potatoes and crabmeat fried rice. We shared a dessert, creme brûlée which was topped with fresh berries and served with chewy cocoa snowflake cookies. Overall the food was excellent. Service started out a little rocky. I had made a reservation online and it would only let me choose a high top. We don't like high tops so I called the restaurant a few days before and they assured me they could accommodate us with a regular table, not to worry. Upon entering and giving my name for the reservation, the Maitre D'être said it's for a high top. I explained that I'd called and we didn't want a high top. He said he could only offer us a booth in the lounge, so we took it. The lounge had a jazz trio playing and the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. The server had to talk above the music to be heard by us. Luckily they took a break and when they came back the volume was lower. As we were leaving I noticed there was a whole dining room with empty tables which were NOT high tops. So why did they seat us in the lounge? Our drink orders were pretty simple, however because they serve the cocktails from the shaker, the server mixed up the dinks and poured my husband's margarita into my 'dirty' martini glass. So I had a three blue cheese olive margarita! A margarita-tini! He realized what he did, apologized and ran off to get another margarita for my husband. I had eaten the olives and tasted the margarita, which was very good. When he returned, he asked if I still wanted the martini and I laughed and said, yes, that what I ordered. So my husband got the benefit of two Margaritas for the price of one and I got three extra blue cheese olives! That was the only goof up. The rest of the meal was flawlessly served. I felt that even though the prices are high, the portion size and the quality of the food provide a good value. You expect to pay more in a place like this. It was well worth it in my opinion. And if you are there during Happy Hour you can choose cocktails and appetizers from the Happy Hour menu which is quite reasonable.
