You have TV and DVD (there are some movies to chose from), wireless, coffee and tea along with creamer and sweeteners, eating utensils, a dorm fridge/freezer--basically everything a hotel would give you, only a little more and of nicer quality. We had our own private hot tub off the back of the caboose Lynda, the owner, was fabulous, and helped us out with dining suggestions, even keeping us apprised of weather and potential flash flooding warnings. We followed her recommendations and weren't disappointed. I highly recommend the breakfast as well. We were greeted at our door in the morning to mimosas, then bacon and eggs, and a delicious type of fresh fruit tart/pancake. I'm already dreaming up reasons to come back in the winter as I'm certain it'll be even more cosy.

They made lovely breakfast and they've lived in the area for decades so they are able to give recommendations for local sites, restaurants, and travel routes. They were friendly and happy to chat but also happy to give me space and alone time. My room had a queen bed and an attached bathroom. There was no TV in my room but there is free WiFi. It was a very cold winter weekend but they had extra blankets. They also have a hot tub out back and they're surrounded by pretty woods.

Delicious breakfast of quiche & homemade muffins, fruit bowl with kiwi, apple, pear, watermelon, honey dew, banana, & blueberries topped with vanilla yogurt & a touch of granola, and wonderful coffee. A parking lot that is within view of most rooms. Quiet neighborhood close to both downtown CO Springs & Manitu Springs. A wine social to mingle with other guests upon check in. A collection of DVDs to borrow during your stay. Romance packages that include a dozen picture perfect roses, a bottle of champagne, breakfast en suite, and bubble bath. You had two choices of dressing ranch or he said vinegar, but I guess really vinaigrette. The prime was a thin slice, but at 6oz I guess it has to be. It was fine, but my wife said mine (on the smoker) was much better. My wife had a Nutella torte, she thought it was dry. A customer next to us ordered the German chocolate cake, said it was bad and sent it back. I asked for a Irish coffee, I'm used to getting that in a bigger cup to allow for the Baileys and Jamison along with the coffee. It had a mini fridge in it and it was right next to the mini bar that comes with complimentary drinks! My wife and I stayed their the first two nights of our honeymoon and I wouldn't have wanted to stay anywhere else. We will most definitely be back many times.

Room was cute but there there were black curly hairs all over the bathroom (I'm bald and my girlfriend that joined me is blonde)...coffee maker had old coffee grounds in it and the fridge had old noodles in a Tupperware container. Furnace shook the floor/walls and was very loud. There was an uncomfortable daybed where a couch would have been preferred. Place sure looks cute - great character in the building and the gardens are eclectic and fun looking...poor execution makes this a place I will not revisit, which is unfortunate as it has potential.
