Repairs included a fuel pump, tune up, brakes, and attempts to address the idle code, but the truck continued having low power, stalling, and check engine light issues. After continuing to experience problems, I decided to get another opinion and returned to my previous mechanic at Al's Auto Repair. They rescanned the vehicle and identified a cylinder 5 misfire along with the idle issue, and provided a clearer diagnostic explanation and repair direction. I appreciate the work that was done previously, but I do wish the root issue had been identified sooner, as it resulted in repeated visits and additional stress trying to figure out why the truck continued breaking down. read more

They even tried to save me money telling me not all the rotors needed to be changed even though that's what I had said originally, He is definitely not a mechanic out looking to take an arm and a leg and break your pockets. I am not from the area, and was visiting. I had check engine light come on a few times, flashing and was worried I was going to damage car if I continued to drive it. I went to Adolfo's on a Saturday morning, right when they opened. He took a look at everything, used a scanner to check vehicle history of light, asked questions, asked clarifying questions to be sure, and provided service. After service, he ensured the car was good for rest of trip by taking it for a test drive. I forgot what he told me (the part) but it was a sensor that was triggering the light and contributing to the issues the car was giving me. He charged me a reasonable price to look at it and clean the sensor. He told me he was 125% sure i would be able to make it to my destination without issues and I did! I took it to a garage down the road from where i live, they quoted me 3000 to fix the suspension but adolfo's team only charged me 650.
