We brought 8-month-old Noodles home in November of 2023 and immediately noticed that he wasn't eating, wasn't pooping, and was scratching at his left ear. Many many vet visits later we have learned that his colon was so badly impacted that he will have permanent trouble pooping, and that the infection in his left ear had been neglected for so long that it had spread to the bones of his skull. His first major surgery is next week. Please, if you choose to use this breeder - demand a clean bill of health before signing anything. Otherwise you could be looking at five figures' worth of vet bills like we are.

His temperament is one of the best I've seen in a cat, and having grown up a dog person, I was surprised at how dog-like he is in his mannerisms. I originally came to see them about my dog's leash reactivity and ended up attending their group obedience classes. The classes are structured in a way that is easy to follow and interactive. Despite it being a group class I felt like the trainers spent equal time with each person/dog always providing constructive feedback and encouragement. They have also provided me with recommendations for various training tools. They really do look at each dog uniquely as some dogs may need a more stern approach to obedience while others, like my dog, need some encouragement. I also highly recommend the agility program! It is a great way to check out the dog sport world! There are only a few people I would trust to watch my dog Betty and the Vonwaldberg team is one of them.

I checked in 3 minutes late. I proceeded to wait for my turn. Then another employee came and told me she was canceling my appointment because a "VIP" came in and they were taking them instead. When I questioned it she said I was late for my appointment so she was canceling. I mentioned that it was only 3 minutes and another employee told me it was fine. She again said she was taking the VIP. No offer to rebook. Nearly every time I've taken my dogs here I have to wait some time after my appointment. I never mind nor complain because I know places get busy or things take a bit. I'm frustrated that this is how they treat people. The store has continued to decline in service over the last year or so. I guess the competition from Pertsmart and SAMS pet store is too much for Petco or they just don't value basic service. While I have consistently come to this store first for pet supplies and nail trims, I won't be back. It's unfortunate that one employee can negatively impact an entire store and company.

They made drop-off so easy. They were all so kind and made me feel comfortable about leaving Nugget with them. Upon picking her up, it was seriously like I was picking up a new dog! She literally looks like she shed 10 lbs of coat. They gave her a cute bandana and everything!
