Just got my dog back from this place. It was the worst experience for my wife ever. The dogs arm was getting twisted and they claim that he was trying to bite. She watched the whole time and seen that the lady was being rude and didn't even cut all the nails. Another gentleman K or another person came out of the back and helped by grabbing his snout and telling them know as he whimpered now that the dogs at home his arm hurts I can't even touch him and he's trembling. They did a amazing job with all three of my dogs. I have three quirky French bulldogs and I am quite a quirky human. They were accommodating and did a good job. We have been going there for the last 3-4 years maybe longer. Some grooms were great. I take 3 dogs every time 2 are mine and the other one is my daughters dog. 2 are under 15 pounds and need more grooming they both have longer curly hair. The other is a terrier who weighs 25 pounds and he has very straight hair easier groom. This last grooming, one dog razor burnt on the stomach. One dog cut all his whiskers off ( the terrier) and the last a havanese they said they needed to shave the ears which I agreed too , but I didn't expect them to cut both her ears and now she has hematomas on both ears. I'm kind of heartbroken as they use to be very good. I'm not sure if new groomers or because they close earlier every day now. They had increased the price of grooming which I am fine with. 65 for each of the small dogs , the terrier was 85 I always included a tip for each groomer every-time I go. There is a sign in the business that if your unhappy with their grooming come back within two days. Well that's ridiculous they hurt the dogs, I don't understand what has happened there. I have been using this grooming place for many years. My last grooming for my Coton was a disaster. The groomer cut him and did not tell me. The scab was 1 inch and 1/2 in diameter. I am sad but I have changed groomers. read more

DO NOT take your dog here they used to have a good groomer that did a decent job but now are horrible. I picked up my dog after a regular grooming appointment and he not only wasn't cut the way I asked he had a red cut on his bottom! His all around cut on his body was choppy and uneven. His eyebrows weren't cut so they were left long and looks dumb and Then to top it off the front desk lady with long brown hair was very rude when I went in to receive my refund by tossing the money on the counter and say "oh here you go" with an attitude as if she was upset I even requested one!! Absolutely disgusting to treat your paying customers that way after it was YOUR mistake to begin with and didn't even do what I asked in the first place. NEVER AGAIN read more

Our Maltese and Yorkey mix was groomed by the same groomer for 10 years. She looked fantastic every time and the groomer never had a complaint. Now we have gone to adorable dog grooming Twice and used two different groomers and they shaved her tail both times. I am livid. We are never going back read more

OMG they raised their rates and charged $270 for my two dogs, then wanted to charge another $7 because they said his hair was embedded. One dog was $100 and she has short hair. They charge now due to the weight of your dog, so if your dog is overweight, you will be paying more! Ridiculous. And $170 for my Husky? Sorry these are Attorney fees, not grooming fees! read more

I had a traumatic experience here today. I took my Italian Greyhounds in for a nail trim. One of them was just fine, but the other was a totally different experience. While I was waiting in the lobby I heard a man yelling, "STOP! STOP!" in back. Then I see my dog running around in fear. Next she runs up to the front dripping blood everywhere. I picked her up and my hands were covered in blood. (I wish I had taken a picture, but I was in shock.) One of the employees let me hold her for a minute, then recommended taking her back to finish. After the experience I called my dog grooming friend (she lives out of state) and I learned that groomers are supposed to stop after the first quick and never charge the owner for what happened. That was not my experience at all. I understand that dogs can have their quicks trimmed on accident. What I'm not okay with is that she was screamed at and quicked on nearly every nail in the front. I wish I had asked them to stop, but I was much too trusting that the experts knew what they were doing. I was told she has extra long quicks and that she'll need to be taken to a vet the next time she needs a nail trim. When I talked to the previous owner (she is a retired show dog) they told me they had never had problems trimming her nails before. I was quite dysregulated by the experience and didn't fully comprehend what had happened until I got home. He never should've kept trimming her. He never should've yelled at her. My dog never should've been running around in fear. And I never should have been charged. I will not be returning. I pray this review prevents another owner and dog going through what we went through today. read more

Adorable Dog Grooming did such a good job! Our dog is a very large golden doodle. Her fur was in very bad shape (long, matted, frayed, knotted). We usually just trim her ourselves; but the $300 electric razor we've always used broke. So we gave Adorable Dog Grooming a try. Now our dog looks and smells amazing. Adorable Dog Grooming clearly put hours of work into her. There's no way that what they achieved with her was easy. We highly recommend this place. read more

Very unhappy. I took 2 dogs there at 8 to get a de- shedding and nail trim. They said 5 hours and they would call me. They called my daughter instead. One dog peeped on the floor. He does do a happy pee but this was much more then a happy pee. My other dog was shaking when they brought her out. Got them in the car and both had hair coming off them. I thought they had done a de-shedding and a bath after. I let that go. But after getting them home they still were shedding hair everywhere. I looked at their nails more and one dog has black nails and were rounded nice. My other dog. Not so much. I asked for a nail trim and to get them rounded. Well they were cut but an cut awful. They didn't round them and they also cut 2 of the nails so far down they had bleed and I was not told. I will be calling them and I will never take them back again. read more

You can't listen to your customers maybe you shouldn't be in business when you say you'll drop off at about 8 pick up before 6 does not mean make an appointment for 8 a.m. then leave my dog in a cage without water or food the rest of the day. read more

This was the only place I could get into on a few days notice. Now I see why. Upon dropping my doodle off and asking if they could remove his ear hair while cleaning his ears they argued with me, stating that breed doesn't have ear hair. I guess weekly ear cleanings and ear hair plucking I have no idea what I was talking about. Oh well I thought. All I asked was for his beard, head, legs and butt to be trimmed. He is a calm mellow dog so it all should have been easy. Well upon picking him up his head was still as long as when I dropped him off (minus the bald spots shaved between his eyes) and he still had rawhide residue on his leg hairs. Then my bill. Of course over the phone they gave me a wide range of cost but they charge me $70 for a giant dog? He weighs 50 pounds. Needles to say now I know why there was no wait to get into this place. read more

I was very displeased with this salon. I inquired, in a very cordial and polite manner upon arriving, about the reviews concerning cuts and nicks on pets after having been groomed here. The lady at reception (the owner?) assured me she knew nothing about such instances. I left my Yorkie puppy for her first grooming, lightheartedly asserting that I hoped not to find such nicks or cuts on my puppy. She assured me I wouldn't. A couple of hours later the groomer called to say she couldn't groom my puppy as she was too fidgety and wiggly. All she could do was what they call a 'bath and brush.' When I went to pick up my puppy, the receptionist (which I believe was the owner) told me the amount due, and I was visibly shocked. She had quoted me a price of $40 for a FULL grooming, and was now charging me $35 for a 'bath and brush.' When she saw the shock and displeasure on my face, she very rudely said something to the effect of, "You came in here with concerns that we were going to nick your puppy, and when we said we couldn't do a full grooming you're upset!" (...which left me with the impression that had I not mentioned my concerns, they may have gone ahead and done a full grooming, possibly nicking her in the process...). To which I replied, "But you're charging me only $5 less than the original price, for just a 'bath and brush'--which I can do myself." She then changed the price to $25, still with a very rude attitude. They had indeed bathed her, and they had done a little trimming on her face and paws. I think they had also trimmed her nails. But still, charging me only $5 less was not okay. I understand wiggly puppies being hard to groom, but the owner's attitude in dealing with the situation was very inappropriate. Had she been gracious and charged me a FAIR price from the beginning, she probably would have made a loyal customer out of me. Instead, I will not be returning to this groomer. She lost a customer due to her bad attitude. Perhaps she was having a bad day? I don't know, maybe. All I can speak to is how she treated me. So no, I won't be back. read more

Rude. Rude. Rude. Bad customer service. One word of warning: You will have to pay BEFORE getting your dog back, which means if you're not happy with the grooming, you've already TIPPED them. The few times I brought my dog here, they did not follow my grooming instructions, but thinking they probably had followed them, I gave them a nice tip beforehand. I have brought my mom's dog here a few times. I am not the best at maintaining my mom's dog. So yes her hair gets nappy. Took her in today to get shaved and had expressed how nappy hair was and that she had those stickers in her hair. When they got done with her poor dog covered in sores..from the stickers in hair. They told me to take her to the vet asap. No problem right, but within an hour animal control showed up. They took it upon themselves to call and report me because she had sores from stickers. I took my cat and my dog, my dog was fine they washed her and you can tell they trimmed her nails, but I asked them to shave her butt and they didn't do that. With my cat they shaved her but it was kind of uneven and they didn't even do under her paws she has a lot of long hairs just sticking out. I paid a lot of money and I don't feel it was worth it. I've brought my dog here about 10 times now and I have never been disappointed. They are inexpensive and they are always done ahead of time. One time they charged my card an extra $60 for a tip and called me to fix it before I hit my account. I will continue to use Adorable even though I live in Denver now and it is a 13 mile trek each way. read more

I've taken my Longhair Chihuahua here 3 times now. They do a graft job with him. He always comes out looking wonderful. Since his hair is so long I get him groomed to look like a lion. I also have a Rottweiler and she also looks like a rock star after her Appointment. The only thing I wish was that the grooming area was opened so we can see what is going on. Other places I've gone to have glass windows , so you can see your pets the whole time they are there. They do a nice job with the look of grooming however they cut my dog's leg pretty badly and failed to tell me until I had paid and given them a generous tip. Tipper beware. Felt that was a little dishonest. It took over 2 weeks to heal and one trip to the vet to be sure it was ok. I don't think I will be back. read more

We moved here several months ago and the move meant that we had to change groomers. We took our Poo-Shon and our Shih Tzu to Adorable Dog Groomers. They did a wonderful job and our dogs and we've taken them back regularly since that first visit. The pooches don't seem frightened at all to be dropped off. The staff is professional and friendly. The rates are reasonable. What I like best is that they schedule their time very well and my dogs are done and ready to go home well within the time frame they provide.
