I give this place two stars because even though the way my hair came out looks NOTHING like the picture I showed her that she said she could do, after days of having it I'm kind of getting used to it .. I shouldn't need to get used to anything I should be in love but oh well. Angie was nice all the way through , but she was really pushy on me cutting my hair.. I know my hair is dead lady but frankly I didn't have the money for it I only brought enough for the agreed price. She wouldn't stop so I caved in and used my credit card for the difference. I don't like my hair curled and when I told her I didn't want my hair curled at the end she stopped what she was doing, made a STANK face and flat out said " I hate when costumers don't want me to curl their hair, it makes for a better picture" UM I DIDNT KNOW YOU WERE A PHOTOGRAPHER ? Did we sign a contract saying I needed to look picture perfect for your instagram? I had an appointment yesterday at 4:30 with Crystal. I purchased the Groupon balayage with haircut and style. I went in looking like a hot mess and came out looking beautiful, exactly what I wanted. She is such a sweetheart too. I would definitely recommend her as she listens and has great insight on what I wanted or what would look good on me. I've have seen Angie for many years and she always gives me a great cut and color. I've taken both of my boys there with no idea of what to do and she alway does a great job. The shop is very clean, everything is very professional. She keeps several great products in stock and can order special items. If I have an emergency she'll try to squeeze me in. I walked in to Adore last weekend without an appointment and was taken in on the spot. The staff was very accommodating and made me feel welcome and pampered from the moment I walked in the door. I had recently spent 8 weeks camping and was an unruly mess. Mireya gave me a sorely needed manicure and it was absolutely perfect. Then Dalila cut and styled my hair. I had only a rough idea of what I wanted but with her suggestions it came out fantastic. I love it! I've been getting my eyelash extensions done by Monica, and I can't be more pleased. I've tried other places, but the lashes always were too thick or fake-looking. When Monica does my lashes, they look natural. Nobody can tell they aren't my real lashes! Her prices are very reasonable for the fills, too. I was so happy with the service I receive from Monica for my lashes that I decided to have her color and cut my hair, too. It turned out really pretty. She put copper highlights in. Exactly what I was looking for. Now I've got an appointment with Monica to get some hair extensions. HORRIBLE place. Do not come here or purchase any of their Groupon "deals" I purchased a Groupon... haircut, style, scalp massage. First of all this place is run down and dirty. Hair on the floor, dirty sinks, dust. I told the gal that the shampoo process was the "best part" so she spent maybe a whole 30 seconds washing my hair. Never received a scalp massage. She had to ask the other stylist there where she should begin to thin out my hair. Was she a student?! I've never had anyone blow dry the front of my head while standing behind me and having the cord to the blow dryer bounce up and down on the top of my head! Not sure she even knew she could turn the chair around. She never trimmed the front of my hair. And when she was finished she never sprayed it or put any product in my hair, but that was ok.. I just couldn't wait to get home and wash it and ask around for a decent place to get my haircut next week. Let's see if this can be fixed. The whole process took about 35 minutes and I have a LOT of hair. So I knew she was rushing or wasn't sure what she was doing. Never checked to see if layers were even, they are not! If I could put zero stars I would. My fiance called this place on my birthday to ask if we needed to make an appointment to get my nails filled. She was told it wasnt busy so just come on in. We went over here since there was a Groupon. When we walked in there was not a warm welcoming at all. They asked us what we needed and my fiance told them that we called and were told to walk in . The woman who does nails came out and told us that wasnt true. She walked around with an attitude for about 15 minutes asking every single person if what we were saying wasnt true. She then came and told us " well everyones saying that nobody told you to come in, I am the only one who does nails and I'm busy!" They were so incredibly rude, accusing us of lying and not even trying to get out buisness. I went somewhere else way better anyways . I got a Groupon for acrylics. At $19 I didn't think it was much of a deal but it's been a few years so I figure either inflation or it's a very upscale place. I called once, outside of business hours. I don't leave voicemails though because I'm not a fan of telephone tag. I called again the next morning, during business hours and again no answer. So I went down there. They weren't even open. Just as I'm about to leave someone shows up. I told this person I had purchased a Groupon for acrylics. She scheduled me for an appointment. When I returned, I was running a min or two late, but don't worry about that, the nail tech wasn't even there! Didn't even apologize for being nearly ten minutes late. When I was finally called back she asked what color polish I wanted, but didn't confirm the service being done. I assumed the person making the appointment let her know what I wanted. Not the case and sadly by the time I realized the mistake she already had her next client at the desk and was practically kicking me out of my seat it felt like. They really need to work on their customer service and communication skills. The manicure itself left me with scrub residue and irritated skin. I don't know what this lady uses but the grains are really harsh. I'd recommend skipping that if you have sensitive skin. read more

HORRIBLE! Just got my hair done today and was thoroughly disappointed. I was asking to get my hair cut a certain way with layers and the lady would not do it and would just say "It won't look good." I believe the lady was in a rush and didn't want to fix it. She cut my bangs straight across which made me look like I was a little girl. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

I am one happy customer! I came in several months ago and just did my routine same hair color touch up with MONICA, I still wanted to be red, then after 6 months I was over it. I wanted a change and I knew I can put my hair in the trusting magical Monica hands (lol) she takes her time like no other hairstylist I have ever been to. I'm so lucky I found her. The process I wanted done wasn't an easy task. Removing red hair color is extremely difficult but she did it. I have this gorgeous honey brown hair with stunning blonde highlights! I feel like a new woman ready to take over there world! :) The cut is fabulous short layers all around but I still have my length and all the compliments I have gotten with this new look, I'm keeping this look and keeping Monica on my speed dial. Let me start by letting you guys know that I am quite picky... I am one of those that is never satisfied whenever I go to salons because I always feel like I overpaid for something that I could have done better myself, oh and I always end up throwing a darker color on my hair in the past because im never happy with how my hair turned out... BUT Crystal did an amazing job with my hair today and I was definitely so blown away. I was so skeptical about buying the groupon, took me weeks to decide, I didnt want a whole lot of highights so I debated whether or not I should buy the more expensive groupons from the other salons for the full balayage... but I ended up going with Adore salon because their offer was more of what I wanted. I've gone to a handful of stylists that would take a look at my hair and criticized the stylists before them for making mistakes on my hair and go on and on about how they can do a better job. My hair wasnt in a great condition and Crystal didnt criticize it one bit! She even said that it's hard to get the bleach perfect the first time around and made me feel really good about my hair. I asked for possibly more balayage than highlights and showed Crystal a reference picture and she gave me super reasonable options without being pushy about the services! If anything she might have convinced me to not go too crazy and spend too much money, start with something simple first!!! She was also very nice to talk to and didn't rush at all, she did everything very skillfully and quickly without looking rushed or being messy. I left feeling super satisfied for the service that I got, and for the price that I paid?!?!? What a steal!!! I definitely wont hesitate going back here for all my hair needs in the future, really great experience. read more

Tried out Salon with a Groupon for what I thought was going to be a hair straightening treatment, NOT!! The Stylist didn't explain that that the treament was only going to smooth out my hair and make it less frizzy (which it didn't) and not completely straighten it after I explain I had it done once before and it was done a diffrent way. Her explaination was every product was done diiferently but ours is organic. The Salon (not the stylist that did my hair, let me make that clear) said I can go back in to have it done and pay the diiference for the two treatment Groupon. Really! I was going to leave on vacation and could not go in til I got back and their response was " If you can't come in within a week there'es nothing we can do. I'm sorry I tried. Who in there right mind is going to postpone their vacation to go back into the salon? But they tried? That's BAD BUSINESS if you ask me. I will NOT be recommending this place to ANYONE!! I am BIG fan of Angie at Adore. I followed her from her prior salon due to her kind and sincere approach to making you look and feel your best every time you walk out! She is patient and believe me I can be picky! I keep coming back to her because she is the best. My hair has been in her capable hands for nearly a decade! Wow we must be old?! I will never go to Adore Salon again! I received a groupon as a gift because of the high rating of this salon. But their service stinks! I made an appointment a week in advance because I was told the nail tech, was booked. A day before the appointment, the receptionist called to cancel and rescheduled me for another appointment a week later because again, the nail tech was busy. I received another phone call a day before the appointment cancelling the appointment. Now the nail tech has cancelled 2 appointments! Keep in mind, the receptionist is providing me with available appointments. So, I'm angry cause 2 weeks have gone by. I left my phone number because I wanted to talk directly to the nail tech. She never responds. I go to the salon and ask for a refund. She never explained her behavior, or asked why I was displeased or apologized for her inconvenience. NEVER GO TO ADORE SALON!!
