I can't rate how good the stylists are with hair because frankly my "appointment" never got that far. I came in 8 mins before my appointment and no one greeted me or acknowledged my existence or asked me what I was here for or if I had an appointment. So I waited. I waited 30 mins past my appointment time and I walked out. Contacted Groupon for a refund. I wanted to try this place out on a Groupon since it was close to my house but too bad their customer service sucked. The place was ghetto and run down. I went for a groupon cut style and balyage and loved all 3, the Groupon only allowed for 12 foils which wasn't enuff for my hair but I wasnt about to pay the extra $100 she asked for and plus wanted to see how good hte groupon service would be before I committed any more funds. If you want your hair to get fried, turn into cotton candy, and fall out everytime you brush it, Angie is your girl! My stylist had a baby and I went to another friend a few times so my HEALTHY hair had a lot of different shades to it. I wanted to try something new and since I have white roots around my scalp that grow out every week, I wanted to get a balayage. I researched nearby salons through Yelp, Facebook, and Instagram. I liked the way Angie's pictures looked. Came by and get a consultation. She decided I need a color correction, ombre, balayage and I cut. She quoted me $255 and would throw in a conditioning treatment. I appreciated that she fit me in for an 8:00 a.m. appointment since my daughter was at a day camp and said she could do the work in 4 hours. Open sign was on, but no one was there. Weird. I texted and called but got no reply. I rechecked the number and realized I was one digit off. Turns out same thing happened to her. She had texted (not called, again weird) the wrong number the night before. Ok no biggie I'll wait. She showed up an hour later, but was very friendly and easy to talk to. She started off with a dry cut which I thought was strange, but it came out lovely with my natural waves. I should have stopped there. Her color correction consisted of weaving bleach through my hair. She started another client while the dryer and bleach damaged my hair. Shampoo, conditioner, rinse, then did what she called a shadow root. Basically just dyed the roots all around. While I was wondering when the ombre and balayage would come in, I saw the bleached parts start to dry a greenish white like I had chlorine blonde hair. I'm getting irritated just typing this again, so I'll wrap it up. Toner, shampoo, condition, dry, styled a total of 5 hours and she's done. She showed me a picture of the back and took some for herself and the white blond was jarring. I had stressed at the beginning I wanted color that would match my skin tone and I had issues with age and my hair thinning. The curls were pretty and the base color was good, the cut she had done prior was pointless because now I have damaged split ends and clumps of hair that fall out everytime I brush it. I paid her the ripoff price and a measly 20% tip and got the hell out of there. Had to spend another $175 at the beauty supply for Kpak treatments, Caviar shampoo, conditioner, and CC cream. It's been 4 days and my hair is ruined. I seriously want to just shave it off and but wigs it's that bad. read more

Angie did my hair about 4 days ago and burned my scalp, yep...scabs have now appeared and a dryness that pulls when I smile. She also didn't rinse globs of color from the back of my scalp that I had to wash out a few hours after the appointment because my scalp was burning. Angie also gave me very uneven highlights including making some a greenish grey instead of golden honey and when I called she told me I "just needed to get used to it" that my scalp would get better I "wasn't used to 30 volume peroxide" and that "it is completely okay to apply color on the scalp". REALLY..that's weird I'm certain I asked for hair color not scalp color! She hung up on me accusing me of "not knowing how to talk to people." Since she was so rude....I'm going to keep talking to all of you on yelp!!! I hope you are reading this...stay clear of her. She said she was the owner...go anywhere else! read more

This place is horrible. I guess they make a new hairdresser to do all the new groupon customers. The hair dresser was nice but definitely not experienced. As the owner of that hair salon, I feel like they should have had the new hairdresser shadow them for a few weeks before they give her a chair. Balayage is hand painted highlights through out your hair, it should look seamless...but my hair was roots the a sudden blunt wide blonde highlight. She started teasing my hair for the balayage...and I know that technique is done for ombre so it breaks up color for a seamless natural look... But not for balayage.... Even with the teasing there are hard noticable blunt starts of blond color. Very disappointed and definitely not worth stepping in the salon. Even though I purchased this on Groupon (bc seeing all the wonderful Yelp reviews of the 2 head dressers).. but the two lead hair dressers seems like they just hired a new person to do all the Groupons. Totally not worth spending your hard working money on damaging your hair. read more

Mireya is so good for nails. My sister had been recommending her services to me for a while. I got acrylics today. She is so creative. I told her what I liked and she found a way to combine what I wanted in a sick design! She takes good care of the nails and hands, making sure to be extra careful and gentle (especially for someone like me whose nails are in bad shape because of a nail-biting habit). After she finished my nails she also rubbed moisturizer on my hands and gave me a hand massage. So happy with my nails by Mireya!! read more

I got a haircut and Balayage which I was initially pretty happy with but after I washed out my curls I realized that the cut was not exactly what I wanted. I asked for a V cut with long layers in the back. I even showed pictures because I'm very particular about having a V in the back. What I got was a shallow W and no layers. I'm giving this two stars, because I feel for the stylist that did my hair, Crystal. She seemed like a really nice girl. I purchased a haircut, style & scalp massage ($65 value) for $29 through Groupon. Let me just say first, that the stylist was a really sweet girl. This place was up the street from where I live and I thought it would be convenient and I was happy to get such a great discount. They even moved my appointment up for me from 2:30pm to 12pm no problem. When I got there, it was in a bunch of little pop up shops, which is fine, when I went inside, it was a little run down, but still ok. Crystal cut my hair without washing it first (still ok, not normal for a supposed hair cut and style that has a $65 value, but ok) then she washed my hair in what smelled like the most budget (Sally's Beauty Supply) shampoo and conditioner. It smelled like old lady perfume. When I sat back in the chair, I immediately started noticing everything even more than before. The floors were dirty, everything was budget, Crystal started brushing out my hair with a wet brush and it looked like someone else's hair was already in it. I started to get so grossed out. Then she busted out this rust colored towel that had stains on it (probably from hair dye) and when she touched my hair with it, I almost jumped out of my skin. I still sat there for a good five minutes trying to still give this place a chance (I was raised not to complain). Then she put some weird leave in conditioner in my hair, didn't section anything out and started using the wet brush and a hair dryer without a nozzle on it and started blow drying my hair up. If you've ever styled your hair then you would know that this is crazy. My hair started to look so frizzy and unhealthy and felt sticky and smelled like ass from whatever shampoo and conditioner she put in it. I had to stop her and I left with half of my hair dry and half of it wet. I let them keep the $29 that I paid through Groupon. I figured lesson learned and I didn't want to be too much of a bitch. I already felt bad for Crystal because I walked out on her. Plus, if a customer is that upset, wouldn't the Manager ask what's wrong instead of pocketing your money. That place is ghetto, budget and gross. There's no way it's a $65 value. If anything it was a $10 to $15 haircut. Crystal can have what ever is left over for a tip, but I doubt the owner would give it to her. I drove home as fast as I could and took a shower. When she was brushing my hair I started thinking of head lice and every other gross thing you could get from using something so unsanitary. I couldn't wash the smell out of my hair for two days. Now, the haircut itself, was ok. It was kind of what I asked for, but it's not like I could ask for it shorter or more layers or anything because I wasn't trying to stick around. It definitely wasn't $65 good. This is probably one of the worst places I've ever been to and honestly I didn't grow up with a lot of money and I have been to budgeted places. Don't fall for this groupon ad. This place is disgusting. read more

If I cant make it in for a trim, I'd rather wear my hair up than go to someone else.. i am very picky when it comes to my hair, Adore Salon is very clean a very nice atmosphere, feels very private not like a mall hair salon, overall just really nice.... She does waxing as well... I would just like to start by saying that before Angie got her hands on my hair I was a hot mess! My previous hairdresser burnt and damaged my hair to the point where I had to cut my hair off to an align bob. Luckily hair grows back and it's been over a year and my hair is now past my shoulders Angie has done the most amazing job on my hair it's healthy and I never ever leave disappointed. I give this place two stars because even though the way my hair came out looks NOTHING like the picture I showed her that she said she could do, after days of having it I'm kind of getting used to it .. I shouldn't need to get used to anything I should be in love but oh well. Angie was nice all the way through , but she was really pushy on me cutting my hair.. I know my hair is dead lady but frankly I didn't have the money for it I only brought enough for the agreed price. She wouldn't stop so I caved in and used my credit card for the difference. I don't like my hair curled and when I told her I didn't want my hair curled at the end she stopped what she was doing, made a STANK face and flat out said " I hate when costumers don't want me to curl their hair, it makes for a better picture" UM I DIDNT KNOW YOU WERE A PHOTOGRAPHER ? Did we sign a contract saying I needed to look picture perfect for your instagram?
