The food has gotten less attractive, the prices have gone up too high for the quality and service, and as a final nail in their coffin, my DH received a free birthday cupcake coupon via their email system on Aug. 7th and when we tried to use it today (Aug. 18th), we were told they are no longer offering that program and will not honor it. No email letting us know that, they didn't decide to do it at the end of the month, and they didn't offer any "I'm really sorry". So, goodbye Adrienne's! read more

I'll admit that I had a bias about this place from windowgate in 2020, but I figured a lot of time has passed, and I should give them a second chance. I'm sure their baked goods are fine, but from the second I walked in the door, the customer service was off. I don't mind being kind to other customers and perhaps they were understaffed, but it seems like they would benefit from using bags or other carriers to assist in product delivery, or just assisting customers themselves. instead of barking out orders to other unsuspecting customers upon arrival, just trying to get in from the cold. Admittedly I wasn't having a great day, so I was really reminded of this once it was my turn at the counter. I know it's a small gesture and probably a colloquialism, but perhaps asking customers, "how is your day?" really isn't the best practice. Maybe just a warm welcome or something, idk. A good local all around bakery that specializes in custom cakes. They have a dining area with several tables that is currently open as of the date of this review. The donuts are just inside the front door and self serve. If you dine in, watch the "billboard" sign with the four categories of custom cakes. The photos are always changing and some are cool, some are wild, and some are downright hilarious. The granddaughter and I each had two donuts and a bottle of milk. The donuts were good and so was the milk. We would be happy to come back again and have more donuts and milk anytime. There is one unisex restroom available. Use the flashlight feature on your phone to find the light switch. I had trouble finding it. I think its behind the door as you walk in. My last review of 2021 is sadly, not so great. I have heard of Adrian's for years. Recommended by several. I don't usually do coupons, especially Groupon, but this time I did. I bought one voucher that included two $12 meals, or whatever. So I drove across the toll bridge twice, almost 15 miles from my home to Adrienne's, to be told by a manager, that I could only use half of my voucher. I would have to come back the next day to use the other half. Her explanation made no sense. I showed her what I could see on Groupon, as far as small print, but she didn't care. I bought 2 of their famous spaghetti dinners, And paid the balance from the $12, 1/2 of the voucher. The spaghetti and meatballs were very tasty, they packaged it in aluminum for easy warming. They did not include the packets of Parmesan they said they would. And their website says on Thursdays, at 4 PM they sell the same dinner for nine pennies. The manager also informed me they don't do that anymore. I suggested they take that off of their website if that is the case. They have beautifully displayed and decorated cupcakes, $6.99 each. It seems like such a nice place. It's a shame they subscribe to Groupon to attract business and then argue with a new customer about the voucher. I contacted Groupon, they sincerely apologized and issued me a credit on the amount I had paid, with no questions asked. read more

This Adrienne and Co for some reason has less of a country vibe. It feels more open and very modern. When you walk in, the counter is just a yard from the door. I got a few things: a peanut butter cookie, a cranberry nut scone, a muffin, and the cinnamon roll. Everything is large and made in house. This is a great place to get treats for all your favorite people. The lady at the counter was pretty nice and told us what she loved from the bakery. They've got cupcakes here which look large enough for you to split with someone. They also specialize in making cakes. Wouldn't mind eating one from them! I'm sure I'll return! I found parallel parking right out front. What's nice is that this location has a lot of seating out front. It doesn't seem as busy as the one in New Albany, but what do I know? read more

I placed a catering order for pickup the next week. I used the catering menu provided on the website - thinking my bill would be approximately $143. Receipt was sent to my email my email with a total $391.23 indicating 2 special occasions cakes. I thought they must have used my card on the wrong order. Tried to email explaining, but it said the mailbox was full. I called and left a message. A nice lady returned my call stating that they do not have a button for catering so it shows up as cakes. I explained that the order amount was much differentent than indicated on their order form. She said he was an old order form. She asked if I wanted to cancel the order, I said I would like for them to adhere to their advertised pricing. She checked with her boss. The boss said no. And, last time I went, they were still around 7$. Wouldn't be surprised if they were more than that now in this crazy world. I would be surprised if they were 12$. Which is how much they are at Adrienne's. So, I had pretty high expectations. And was served disappointment. I don't know what fat they are using for their gravy, but it is not enough. There was just so little flavor. The texture was fine. But I found myself looking for pieces of sausage to satisfy. I gave up about halfway through. The biscuits were fine. Stick a cute little place! All the baked items looked incredible! Stopped in for a quick bite of breakfast after walking across the Big Four Bridge. Went for the breakfast burrito and it was amazing! The homemade salsa that was in it was delicious! They also pressed it and grilled the burrito which gave it such an extra touch and taste! The home fries were great and the donuts were delicious! Holiday vacation in the hubby's hometown and we came here two days in a row. Once for breakfast and once for lunch (okay, it was breakfast time, but I had a lunch item... don't judge me!) Two words - ginormous cupcakes. Adrienne & comes not the place to find low- cal or vegan goods. This is old school, big as your head pastries and sandwiches kind of place. I was introduced to the shop by a former co-worker who would sometimes indulge in their decadent lunch combos (sandwich, side, and a lunch cupcake). I stopped in this week on the way back to Louisville from shopping in Jeffersonville to grab a very late lunch. I wandered in at 2:30 and briefly looked at the door. I'd never noticed before that the kitchen stops serving lunch at 3pm. Lucky me! My go - to sandwich is the portobello with roasted red peppers. It's a mammoth panini on homemade focaccia with mushrooms, peppers, and cheese. Hot and gooey, it's the perfect fall lunch. I went for the vegetarian vegetable soup as my side and a chocolate, lunch cupcake (aka a normal sized cupcake). The sandwiches are large enough to share which I often do when my mom joins me. We order an extra cupcake and eat our fill for under $15. There are slightly less expensive places to eat in Jeff, but Adrienne's is consistently good. Their parking can be tough and their prices continue to rise, as with all goods/services, but I keep coming back. Try one of the large, specialty cupcakes if you want to treat yourself! read more

Visited Adrienne's & Co Bakery for the first time while taking vacation in Louisville, KY and they did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken and biscuit combo and it was very filling. The combo comes with American fries, a drink and a donut. For the quantity and prices it's a lot and we'll worth it. The chicken and biscuit were both flavorful and filling too. The American fries were well seasoned and hard to stop eating. For my donut I had an old fashioned and it was good too, just smaller than most. For my drink I had a drip coffee which was extremely hot considering they just opened and it was a grant coffee. I will note they don't have expresó so lattes, and drinks of that nature are not available. I highly recommend them and will visit during another trip. read more

I have eaten here for years and today it like they sold the restaurant. First, they kept taking orders to seat people...without any tables to seat them. Next, my pancakes came with this tiny little plastic container of syrup for 3 very nicely sized pancakes. I went up to the counter to ask for more. The teenager said she would get it. Nope, she took another order to seat more people. Once the transaction was done she went to the next people in line. I interrupted her to get my syrup. She went in to the kitchen and brought out another tiny container of syrup. I went back to my table to make the best of it. At this point my pancakes were cold and I still didn't have enough syrup even make them sticky. Then I observed this tall, lumbering vagrant just taking up space wherever he could while intermittently and repeatedly refilling his coffee cup. Do you think there was a manger there to intervene? No. Apparently the teenage restaurant crew was incapable of dealing with him. After 45 minutes he left on his own. Finally, the "free" donut. Tasted like what you get at Kroger. Not the quality pastry I was accustomed to I will not be returning soon. If I'm going to pay $30 for me and my girlfriend, to eat cold food for breakfast, I will go somewhere where I can get that level of quality. I feel stolen from. Another nice restaurant left to go to shit by hiring a bunch of talentless teenagers to run the show. read more

I've been fighting with myself on whether to give this place 3 or 4 stars. This is a place to go for sweets. What did I not order the first time? Sweets! I decided to go with a breakfast entree. The portobello, tomato, and swiss omelet was ok, but compared to other similarly priced omelets around this city, it wasn't the best. I think the top 3 safe breakfast items to get here would have to be the Challah French Toast, Belgian Waffles, and 2 eggs your way. Sweets on future visits. Great! That's where this place shines. I think this is a decent shop for So. Indiana, but with so much competition, I'm not sure if I'd make the trip across the bridge for it. read more
