Just got home and the brakes are like new. I am convinced these folks are the best most honest folks in the business. He helped us negotiate a good deal on our new used car and get a fair deal for our trade in. I wish the sales manager would have come out and introduced himself and worked with Alan and us to save some back and forth time. So the sales guy had to go to another lot to get, no worries 7 minutes top he said.....well 30 minutes later I got to test drive, which was good. It was being sold a wholesale, so still on the fence. I asked if I could schedule an extended test drive for in the morning to have my mechanic look at it, after all I do live 75 minutes away. Sure thing, but there is someone here to look at it as we speak, ok thanks for letting me know. 2 minutes later, ya know what I just told my wife that has been waiting in the car with my toddler that I was going to buy it, so lets do it. Sales lady that was showing the car to someone else strolls through and my salesman says we are going to run his credit so he can purchase, Why would you do that my guy is a mechanic and is going to buy. But wait i'm still here and have been here now for over 2 hours, I would like to buy and I assume since I was here first I could still do that, sorry nope you missed your chance. Well she ended up storming off I am assuming to go get the manager, since like 3 minutes later he was in the office telling me their was nothing he could do because he couldn't take the keys away from the other guy, but yet that is what was done to me. These guys dont care about you just about getting a sale and their commission im assuming. Im sorry it took me 120 seconds to say yes I wanted to buy it. Came back for my scheduled appointment and they'd sold the tire they ordered for me to another customer, so now had to wait another 2 days and come back again. Then, unfortunately, had a rock crack my windshield the same week. My insurance covers the windshield repair but Tom Wood doesn't have it in stock, has to order it, and said it's on national backorder so they said it would likely be months until they get one in. I told Corbin to go ahead and order it since insurance would cover it, but they refused to order the part. They wanted to be paid upfront for the windshield AND the repair ahead of time even though they said it would be months before they do the work. Insurance won't pay for a "promised" repair, only a completed repair. The entire thing is ridiculous. They want to be paid in full for work they didn't complete. I asked Corbin to work with my insurance on a solution. He didn't bother, just said that they needed the money upfront for the "promised" repair, which, understandably, insurance isn't willing to cover.

Ultimately, the process of buying a car is just not fun. It takes a long time, there's a lot of waiting, and heavy decisions to be made. But they make it as smooth and painless as possible. While they could easily take advantage of a girl who doesn't know what she wants, I feel like they look out for me and genuinely try to get the best deal. Last time, one of the salespeople gave me advice that saved me probably $100/month on my car payment. When I'm ready to buy a new car, this will undoubtedly be the only stop I make. The service department treats my car like a baby. They always keep me informed, prices are reasonable, and they are knowledgeable and efficient. I've had particularly great service from Brandon. Like I said--getting your car serviced is not fun, but they keep the waiting area clean and well stocked with complimentary coffee, water, and snacks. Andrew assisted me once I pulled into the bay. He was friendly and professional. He had assistance from another team member since I opted to have both headlights replaced.
