I immediately reached out to East Cobb Auto and they claim the rip didn't happen on their watch and I must have ripped up the seat in those two hours and brought it back for them to repair. Obviously it happened from Saturday to Monday while in their custody. They claim they do a four door inspection upon completion of work. Obviously that didn't happen either. East Cobb Auto would not cover the seat repair costs I incurred nor did they offer to cover any portion of the repair cost. We have been customers for over 30 years and this was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. Would not recommend leaving your car in their care.

I dont know why the even touched my AC vents because it had nothing to do with what was going on. When i confronted them about it they tried telling me that they had nothing to do with it and they would give me a call about it in about 30 minutes .. no one called. long story short dont go here unless u want more problems to deal with. The cheaper route isn't the best route just go to the dealership.

Killian did a great job, but Genesis was faulty on the tie rod. They sent the wrong part due to a wrong part number that they acknowledged. All in all was a great experience, and they did not charge for their loaner car.

However, since 2022 we have really started noticing a decline in the honesty department and more situations scream scam. Yesterday was my final straw as to why I'm writing this review. I came in yesterday morning for an appointment I had made Sunday evening for a tire rotation/balance and to get both the front driver tire and front passenger tire patched. Both tires each had a small screw from what we believe is months of ongoing roadwork in the area. My husband removed the screws and plugged them Saturday evening (today is Thursday) refilled the tires with the small amount of air they needed and tested them with the soapy water method to see if the tires were leaking air which they were not. Before anyone at Discount Tire even assessed the situation, I was immediately told that I would automatically need new tires because the " gummy sticky" plugs are not DOT approved. I had already figured they were going to try to tell me I needed new tires. So it started. The man at the front desk couldn't find the last time that I got tires In the system and because I had started noticing what I believe to be dishonesty, I have documented every time I have come since 2022. So I let him know that I would happily pull it up which I did and I let him know I got 4 new tires in March of 2025 at 176,525 miles. He conveniently could find that date on my account at that point. In February of 2026 when I came in for a rotation/balance at 185,220 miles I was told that the next time I came in for my next rotation/balance I would probably need two new tires. I got home and within the hour called them questioning why it says on their app that my appointment that day was missed even though I had just left there and had gotten my tires rotated and balanced. I wasn't given a clear explanation, but I was reassured that everything is documented correctly in the system. Keep in mind I am keeping track of every single visit for whatever reason since 2022. At this very moment when I go on the app, every appointment that I have made says canceled, the one from yesterday says missed, and there is not even one documented that I can see on my end for February of 2026 when I was last in. I find that very ironic, considering they base the prorated discount of any possible tires you buy on whether or not you've kept up with the proper balance and rotation of the tires that you have bought from them. So that brings me to yesterday morning when I came in with a milage of 190,031 and 2 plugs that most likely COULD be patched. I'm no tire expert nor is my husband, but he is very knowledgeable on cars/car parts/tires. He happened to call me yesterday when I was at Discount Tire right In the middle of the conversation I was having so I put him on the phone with the man at the front. It was a brief conversation, the man seemed visibly nervous. The end of the conversation ended with them talking about the tread of the tires that were measured ( with that being another reason why I would most likely need new tires- at least 2, we didn't get that far), and thats when my phone was handed back to me and with my husband on the other end he asked me to leave and he let me know we would find another place. According to my husband after he was told the tread measurements he said " she doesn't need new tires and both you and I know that". Now, could I have needed new tires because of the SMALL screws that were removed and plugged? Possibly. I would have no idea. I will be taking my car elsewhere and updating this post when I get a second opinion, but to tell me I need new tires based on a plug that was used before even assessing the situation is very questionable especially after already telling me I would soon need 2 new tires 13 MONTHS after getting 4 brand new tires AND with no visible previously attended appointments for rotations/balanced done on the app that costumers are using? Hmmmm. You can form your own opinion. My suggestion is to document everything on your own!

They have a price list for all their work and you can take in minor jobs or fully disassembled engines to have specific machine work at upfront advertised prices. No secret fees and upgrades you don't ask for, and the more you KNOW THE MORE YOU WILL APPRECIATE THEIR SKILLS and PROFESSIONALISM ... AND TOTAL EXPERIENCE in DOING JUST THAT !!!
