had an awesome experience at Advance Auto Parts, and I've gotta give a huge shoutout to Devin. Seriously, this guy went above and beyond in every way. Not only does Devin know his stuff inside and out, but he actually takes the time to help instead of just pointing you to an aisle. I came in needing help with my car, and he jumped right in--diagnosing the issue, explaining everything clearly, and making sure I got exactly what I needed. You can tell he's got real hands-on experience, not just textbook knowledge. And on top of that, the dude wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. He literally used his own strength to help me get things loosened up and sorted out--something most employees wouldn't even think twice about walking away from. That kind of effort and willingness to help is rare. Between his knowledge, work ethic, and just being a genuinely solid guy, Devin made what could've been a stressful situation way easier. Cody and laquisha were kind enough to check my new but failing battery (purchased and installed by the Marietta city location advanced auto parts). They found that the terminals were loose and needed to be replaced. Although their location usually has the terminals my Jeep needs but were out, Cody was able to tighten the terminals and get me on my way. Poor customer service. I went in to have an engine light read. As I pull up the counter person is outside and doesn't come in until me and another customer go in. The first guy gets served then as each new customer or call came in wanted me to wait before going out to read my engine light. I could understand if they were busy but just not good service. read more

Great Service, Knowledgeable Staff and Good Invertory. On my last trip to Marietta, I needed to get a replacement brake light for one that had burned out on my Audi. Had tried the day before at an Auto Parts Store in Statesville and after spending 45 minutes and not even getting anyone to help me, I left because I had to get back to work. My son who lives in Marietta took me to this store. I walked in, explaned what I needed and he showed me several brands of bulbs and rather rely on just memory, he took the extra effort to indeed confirm that this was what I needed. Very professional and the bulbs were very reasonable and I bought them, took them home and installed them on the Audi and they have been working well ever since. Total contrast to my previous experience. This was a pleasure and I was very impressed. My son says he uses this store for exactly the same reasons. Went and had a battery test done yesterday since I needed a jump the other morning and was also going to purchase a new battery and have them install it. Lady who did the battery test answered a call midway through the test and was complaining about the rain. Stayed everything was fine and all I needed was to charge the battery. Well it's 6:30 in the morning and my car wont start. Never coming here again need a mechanic not a secretary who wants to answer the phone and complain about the rain. Gina postin was very Helpful tonight when I came into the store I was looking for some headlights that where much brighter bc i cant see good at night and we found the right ones. during our time together, upper management had called and she was very professional and handling the phone call but also putting me first. I hope she is the manager at this store. If not she should be. I love to see a woman who knows her stuff especially in the auto industry. I'm blonde so yes I left my keys there and silly me had the spare key in my purse so I didn't realize until much later that evening I had left my keys in the store. I purchased a batter online with the expectation to be able to get to the store at 7:30 am, when they open, and and get it installed. When I showed up at 7:30 the lady working opened the door and instead of greeting me or asking what I needed she just cracked the door and said their computers were down. I stated that I just wanted my battery installed and I already purchased it. She then said there was no one there to install it until 8 and to come back. My battery was dead that's why I was there! How am I supposed to leave? Why couldn't she install it? After arguing with her for a minute I just installed it myself in the parking lot. I just don't understand why she couldn't take the 5 minutes it takes and install the battery or at the very least be more respectful, and don't say you open at 7:30 if you can't do anything until 8. read more

Don't ask for advice on a product because they probably want know. They sell you stuff you don't need, then you call in to see if they have a product you do need. They say "I think we carry it"...and I am like well can you check so I don't drive all the way down there just to find out you don't..."uh okay" waiting "yeah we have it". Okay so my question is why didn't they recommend it in the 1st place. Gain some product knowledge and stop giving advice you have no 1st hand knowledge on, consult a manager or something. I don't run in here very often...but when I do it's just to pick up some fuel injection cleaner for my lil' Versa. Service is usually good. The few times I've visited the store the guys will go over to the shelf and point me right to what I'm looking for. The last time I visited, the clerk showed me a 12$ bottle of fuel injection cleaner that could've been used for a much much larger vehicle than my own. He didn't even ask what I was driving, whereas other clerks do ask and show me the stuff thats in smaller bottles around 5-6$. All in all, it's an okay place... I'm no carbuff so I don't come here often enough to say they're more than Ok... But with the staff helpful 95% of the time, I see no problems with me coming back when I'm down this way on Roswell Rd. read more

He then tried to rush me off by attempting to close my hood I asked him multiple times to get get his pliers. His first reply was they're under the battery and he did not feel like taking the battery out again. I then asked him if there was anything I could do to better assist him during the process. Gilberto ignored me and consulted with his co worker Daniel. Daniel told me that the pliers may have fell into the fenders and "it's not going to hurt anything". They refused to get their equipment that is now somewhere in my motor!!! In addition to this while in the store shopping I believe I was racially profiled by Daniel he watched me closely my entire time in the store and followed me into an aisle after I told him I was just browsing while getting my engine installed. This is completely unacceptable and I will continue exhausting all resources until Something is done. read more

This is a great store with amazingly helpful employees. Miss the old manage Rory. What a down grade to the person they have now. Sorry to have seen such a great guy go. For the rest of the remain team. They are wonderful and knowledgeable. I will continue to go back time and time again. I have have become familiar with most of the employees. Very helpful staff. The store is well stocked as well - only have had a few parts not in stock and those were not common, they did find another store with it nearby or had an alternate part that would work. I usually look up my parts on-line then pick them up in the store - the order is ready when I walk in less than an hour later. Never had a problem with returns. It's nice having a dependable auto parts store nearby when you own multiple cars (currently only 4) ranging from the 1960s to new. read more
