The hose I ordered from ford turned out to not be correct. Not having the ability to order another hose, I headed to Oreillys. Walked into the store and was greeted by a young man by the name of "Grayson". I explained my situation to Grayson and willingness to pay whatever to find a solution. Grayson immediately began assembling the parts I needed. He however went above and beyond by actually assembling a complete hose. The sheer relief I felt knowing that I would be able to get the truck back on the road was tremendous. This NAPA is located near the Big Chicken (same side of the road) in Marietta. There are a lot of other auto parts stores nearby like Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, and O'Reilly. I stopped by this NAPA during my lunch break to pick up some replacement tail/brake light bulbs for my car. I purchased my last set from O'Reilly. O'Reilly and AutoZone carry Sylvania brand bulbs. NAPA carries Wagner brand. The bulbs burn and look the same. My car uses a mix of bulb brands and you can't tell a difference. The bulbs (2) cost $6.35 after tax (Wagner BP17881, equivalent to Sylvania 7225). I first tried to buy the Sylvanias at Advance, but they were out of stock. This NAPA store was open, airy, bright, clean, and neatly organized. I like the look of the NAPA stores better than Advance, AutoZone, and O'Reilly. It wasn't busy. There were several (4-5) employees and, at one point, I was the only customer. Customer service was good. The employee (#14) who checked me out signed me up for NAPA Rewards (www.naparewards.com) where you get $5 for every $100 you spend. You automatically get $5 off your next purchase after setting up your account. Your NAPA Rewards account is tied to your phone number. Also, AAA members get 10% off all purchases at NAPA.

After asking me a couple of questions about my brakes, the mechanic actually tested the fluid with a test strip and showed me that it was perfect. I also asked him to put the car on a lift and assess the control arm. They did that and found zero problems with that. It's always a good idea to get a 2nd opinion! These guys at Pep Boys are my heroes. I feel very comfortable bringing my car back here for maintenance or repairs.

That means they were only able to perform part of the alignment. My issue was being charged the full $140 alignment price for limited work. I asked if there was any reduced rate since only toe could be adjusted, but was told the price is flat rate and could not be changed. The employees were polite, so this review is not about customer service. My problem is paying full alignment price for partial service. In situations like this, I'd rather go to a local independent shop that is more flexible and experienced with older vehicles. I won't be returning, and I'd recommend asking exactly what can be adjusted before agreeing to the service.
