New to Ball Ground, I asked around as to who I could trust my car to for servicing. BGTA was recommended. I met Kurt who treated me with utmost respect. I asked him if he could do an oil change on my Ford. He gave me an appt. and serviced the car while I waited. Brought my SRT Challenger in for a vibration issue and a tire rotation. He diagnosed the vibration to be a bent wheel. His knowledge and the capabilities of his staff were beyond my expectations. They're all dedicated to their jobs and are customer conscientious. I would highly recommend them for your auto. They also do a tremendous business in truck mods. You can't wrong at BGTA! read more

I have been a customer here for several years with good service. Ball Ground Tire and Auto ran a special on oil changes and other services. I got an oil change and went to pay and was charged $70 for the job. I asked why I didn't get the special and didn't get a clear answer. Needless to say I am not sure I will return to this business. I carried my car in because the cabin wasn't heating up. They replaced the thermostat, said it was fine, and come get it. The vehicle ran hot on the way home and I had to carry it back. Then I was told it was the radiator. They replaced my radiator again and told me it was ready to come and get it. It ran hot. I had again carried it back, this time it needed a heater core and a new engine. They don't make engines for my car so now they have to replace the head gaskets. So my car is at home without heat and now running hot. ...and out $2,500 for a vehicle worse than when I carried it in. All this was over a month. The airbag light is now on, what happened to my car for that to take place? I am unhappy with these folks: out of money with a vehicle now sitting in my yard. read more

None this time. They were unable to look at a tire that had a leak in it. Said to come back tomorrow. We must travel tomorrow so that's not happening. We have been used this company for four years. We brought our Audi Q7 in for a full brake job (front and back) in April 2024. The car was at the shop for 3 days. After 30 days we had to bring the car back due to serious squealing and then had the car back 2 more times due to the same issue. Even after 5 attempts and 5 days of the car being at the shop the issue was not resolved. We eventually scheduled an appointment with German Auto Repair who advised us the brake pads and rotors were the cheapest version available from O'Reilly Auto Parts and the bake pads were installed upside down. A brake job should not cost $5K! read more

I had gone to these guys for a little over a year, almost two years for various repairs from A/C to belt replacements and a few other things. The last time I went they had my car for 3-4 hours and they finally came back and said they couldn't figure out what was going on as the check engine light wasn't on anymore but they did an oil change for me like I asked. The thing is they never gave me a new sticker for it and after realizing there wasn't a new sticker I checked the oil to find it was still dirty and under the line. They texted asking how the car was doing to which I responded and inquired about whether or not they actually did the oil change. To which they never responded. So while they can do honest work and they don't over charge, I can't say they're reliable when they ignore a simple yes or no question. Charging someone for something you didn't do is a little unfair. read more

I needed tires and rims installed. They were very professional, kept me in the loop as to what was going on and service was very quick.

Chris and Justin were AMAZING!!! I needed new tires, front end alignment, front brakes and an oil change. Took it to Ball Ground Tire and auto told Chris what I needed told me it would he ready the next day - had to order tires and Justin made it all happen. It's a 2001 and drove like a brand new vehicle when Justin gave it back!! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Great job guys!! So happy to have you in my hometown!! read more
