Best advance auto crew in the country hands down. You'd be stupid to go anywhere else.

I took it to 4 places in town each telling me it was something different or recommending a certain service that would be needed. Long story short I ended up here. Communication is no bs- no fluff- no sales pitch. I appreciate that. It was refreshing to have someone talk to me about what was happening with my vehicle without feeling like I had to weed through intentions and sales. Maybe not the best social skills when it comes to customer service but I'd rather have an honest and knowledgeable repairman that tells me like it is any day of the week. I recommend and will always go back.

My wife's truck had a bunch of lights on on the dashboard. We called and spoke to Tom who wanted to know exactly which lights were on. Since we had the truck at another shop and weren't looking at it, we didn't know off the top of our head all of them that were on and he was annoyed and snappy with her. When we went in to pay, we asked for a military discount. The person at the counter told us that they have a military discount, but we would have had to inform them of it before they wrote the invoice. I asked them to rewrite the invoice so that we could get the discount and they refused to do so. Way to respect military personnel...

This might be a long post but let me tell you the difference in customer service…read more McCandless Truck Center had my truck for 5 days, two of which is was guarantueed to be in the shop. After 5 days they then decide to tell me it will be $3200 to drop and inspect the transmission. They've known what it was going in for, they never kept any contact with me about cost, they told me it would be two hours charge to diag and they never contacted me about not getting the truck in the shop on the days promised I had to call to find out. No apologies were made, no effort was given. When they failed to produce a quote for a transmission replacement after 4 hours, I sent my driver to pickup the truck. They did nothing, offered no apology, charged me $500 and we went on our way. Called a friendly shop in Assumption IL, small farm town. CB Enterprises. They don't have a FB page but they did great work on my other truck. They said they would change my transmission for $4600, including parts and clutch assembly. (Now remember McCandless wanted $3200 just to inspect the transmission) they would have the parts on Monday, and transmission replaced with truck ready to go on Wednesday. Two days. With only one day notice and on a Friday. Shot my driver over to IL and they are already taking the truck apart to replace it, they even let my driver borrow one of their company trucks so he could use it to go to the hotel in a neighboring city so he use it for the days he's there. Customer service does matter. Especially in this industry. If my trucks ever have issues in their area and even if I'm clear across the country I will send my trucks to this shop. I really hoped since my company was moving to Cheyenne we could work a great business relationship but I guess that's not the case and this dealership is like every other. Crooks. EDIT in response to stores reply. The truck still did not get in until the following day after they talked, also no price was discussed for the transmission inspection. I was told it was a minimum of two hours but over 4 days no one told me the price would be $3200 just to inspect it. They waited until the 5th day. Also. The manager was decent to talk to on the phone but the lady at the counter was rude and didn't care at all about what was going on, all my employees on two separate occasions complained about the front desk lady. And none of the employees have talked to each other so they all had real experiences. What's done is done, my transmission was replaced in one day by the shop in Illinois and they treated my driver like a King there. I'll make sure none of my business goes here and I will take away every bit of business I can from you guys.

After we were home awhile, my son looked at a video about the work that would need to use that part for, then he told me "Mom, that part isn't going to work," and he continued to explain why. The part was unopened and I kept the receipt. I can't remember why it took me so long to return, I'm never like that, (we live in Burns) so about a month ago I took back. They opened the box and said "absolutely." I almost fell over. I also with the return money bought new wipers and the dear young man asked me if I would like him to put them on. I said, " can you please?" He again said yes. And he did, it probably took him MAYBE 5, 6 minutes!!!! I will go back there always when I need something for my car. I did Customer Service for OVER 30 yrs B4 I retired. So I'm VERY aware of it WHERE ever I go, it's very obvious to me these young men LIKE their job VERY much. I would tell you to there FIRST. I HIGHLY recommend them...
