I purchased Weatherpeak Tires from Fatboys Tire, and after only 30K miles, they needed to be replaced. Fatboys would not process a warranty refund. They did NOTHING, and never called me back! So I went to Discount Tire and they said "No problem!" Discount calculated a generous refund for the lousy Weatherpeak tires, and an hour later I have new Michelin CrossClimate tires on my vehicle...just in time for a roadtrip! Stopped on two different occasions because of low tire pressure light. I was told come back the next day to get the tire repaired. Once I was told I needed an appointment. So another trip. Then when I got there I was told the tire was too old, they can't work on it. But I could buy a tire to replace it. This tire was seen two times before this and they didn't mention the age either time. The second time I had a low pressure light, I was told to bring it back the next day to get it repaired. Again I was told the second day that I needed and appointment, so another trip. Each time I was there they measured the tread on every tire. When I went back for my appointment, I was told the tire tread was too worn, they couldn't work on it. If you have them check your tire pressure, they will want to put 38 or 40 pounds of pressure in your tires "because the weather is turning colder". Tell them no. Have them put the recommended pressure listed on your car. The higher pressure will wear out your tires faster. read more

Turns out, the tire was in bad shape since the tire got punctured and shredded. Manuel was super kind, simple, and made things understandable. Great customer service! First of all I was offered the most expensive tires they had for my $1500 car. I opted for 4 tires for$325 installed. Traveling home from Nebraska to California, I hit a long piece of unavoidable metal pipe on the road. It wound up puncturing my tire and my it was immediately flat. AAA changed to my spare. I went on line and found Discount tire which is basically the same as America's tire where I live. I called and spoke to Dalton and told him I was over 100 miles away and he said they were extremely busy with no available appointments but that they did have the tire in stock and he would put me in line. When I arrived, Manny helped us and let me know the estimated time was about an hour and a half. Despite that they were extremely busy they got my Jeep in and new tire installed in less than an hour. They also recommended and replaced my windshield wiper blades which I was grateful for as we came into a nice thunderstorm a couple hours down the road. I found the tires I wanted after extensive research. I ordered them online and set an appointment for 8 day out. Before I hit purchase on the iPad the phone was ringing and I was told how the service would go down. I arrived early. The service person met me and asked me to wait for a bit. Within 5 mins my truck was on a lift and well on its way to being completed. I received a few updates and after less then 20 mins my truck was returned. My husband and I were on a rally in our Mini Cooper driving from one end of the country to another when we noticed our tires had gone downhill quickly and they needed to be replaced before we finished the rest of our trip. The tires we wanted were special order so we called this shop two days ahead of when we would be there. My husband spoke with Nate, who was very helpful and polite on the phone. He did some research for us to see if he could get the tires in before we were going to be in Cheyenne. He called us right back and said he could have them overnight from their supplier in California for $60 more a tire or he could order them online and have them the next day for $15 a tire more. We told him to go ahead and order the tires and we made an appointment for two mornings from then. We ended up getting in the next day instead of the following day and Nate got us in immediately. The tires had arrived about 45 minutes before we got there. We were in and out with four new tires in less than an hour without an appointment. I would recommend using this store. I came out from Christmas shopping at K Mart to a flat tire. Changed the tire and brought the flat to Discount to repair or replace. Of course it couldn't be repaired as there was sidewall damage. I left my wheel overnight as It was close to closing time and told them to put a new one on. Next morning, came back out, had it replaced in average time. The problem began when the next morning I woke up to the brand new tire having six pounds of air in it. Well of course I was furious. I used the compressor at my moms house and filled it to 21 pounds and watched it over the next day because Discount was closed as it was Sunday. On Monday morning took it back to Discount and spoke with Jeremy. He got my car in average time into line where they checked it out. They were happy to solve the problem, but I shouldn't have had to waste a second day in their shop if they would have done it right the first time. After searching and searching they said they couldn't find any leak. Only leaves me to wonder how it became flat unless they only filled it with 6 pounds to start with. And as I'm writing this review at the tire shop, the guy working on it just came in and told me there was a bead leak...this after the other guy told me they couldnt find anything....hmmmm...I've certainly been more impressed. My very pregnant body sat right in front of their big store windows in direct line of sight for 2 1/2 hours in the sun on a concrete bench because there is no sitting in the lobby (Covid, I get it). My husband looked up online the times for labor day wkend, this past labor day, 2021. We live 25 miles away, one way. It told the hours for labor day, and that they WERE open Saturday. He drove there, only to find a sign on the door, closed due to labor day. "I" was NOT happy. I did customer service for over 25 yrs before I retired so I am VERY aware and alert to how good OR bad it is where ever I do business with. So "I" took the tires back we needed repaired on Monday...I walked in. The gentleman at the counter had NO smile. I asked if he was the manager and he said yes. I told him my husband had come there Saturday...and he said, "and we were closed." and I said, "yes, but he looked online first and it said that you WERE open.." so...get this, "HE" says,, "that wasn't our fault, that was "googles" fault!!!! I just looked at him..then I said, " well it wasn't OUR fault either, my husband looked online," he said, "so what do you want me to do, Google put it on there.." I looked at him and said, "ok, have a nice day" and walked out. I told my husband when I got home later, "I will never go there again, they have VERY poor CS..VERY poor." Like I said, I did CS for over 25 yrs, I KNOW what he could of done and what he SHOULD of done to keep the customer..So I went down the road to Peerless tires. I walked in and at the counter was a man named Tim. He was waiting on another man, but he ACKNOWLEDGED ME WITH A SMILE. GOOD CS... as soon as he was done with the other man, I explained my dilemma and he said can I take a look at your tire? I asked him name, told him I JUST had a bad experience down the road w/Discount tire where I will never return. He came to my car, (these were 2 John Deere riding lawn mower tires, I didn't know if he carried them) He looked at both, said the one was fine, but he would need to take the other one in and look at it. Which he did. We discussed the options and "I" was the one that asked how much for a new one..he explained everything to me, did not push me to buy a new one, it was "MY" idea. I ordered it, and went back a few days later when I had another appt in town and picked it up. He carried it to the car for me.
