Today I was a thousand miles from home in an Enterprise rental car when a light came on the dash, "Maintenance Required: Tire". The light came on every time I turned on the car. I called the local Cheyenne Enterprise facility and was told I needed to go to Jone's because "I am the only one here and I only rent cars." She gave me the address and I headed south. When I arrived at Jone's I was greeted by Michael. He said he'd take a look at the dash. He quickly figured out the light was due to mileage prompt not a problem with the PSI. Had a carburetor replaced on an old 1981 Datsun pickup truck. Fortunately didn't need the truck right away as their was parts issues but eventually it all worked out & the rebuilt carburetor got installed with a few other minor things done. It's been over four months now since got the truck back & have used it in 4WD high in snow, and as a run around for errands truck & it's been rock solid & dependable. Several months back we had 7k in engine work done. We had been taking our vehicles to Jones lube and more for many years. But the last time was different. After they had the vehicle for 3 weeks well beyond the 3 days they quoted. We expected the car to run great one week after we got it back the timing chain snapped. The vehicle had to be towed from an an hour away and scrapped. With all the work done the timing chain wasn't replaced. We trusted them to make the vehicle road worthy as we drive for a living. We will never be back or refer anyone else. We had referred several people. Never again. Beware of any repairs this shop does. They may be great for oil changes but I wouldn't trust any repair work. read more

They were very quick in changing my oils. For be a small shop they were they were well organized and efficient.

Today, I went to Auto zone and asked if they would change my air filter and clean air filter if I purchased them from them. They did sell them but that was not a service they did it helped with. The gentleman did recommend buying them to be changed yearly. He went that extra mile and called Jones' Lube &More and asked if I brought the filters in and would change them. They said yes I knew up front there would be a cost. Both places went that extra mile for me. I recommend Jones' Lube and More helping me out to everyone. Traveling from Virginia to Idaho and needed to get my oil changed. Pulled up in my GMC Denali 3500 dually and was greeted right away. Told the technician I needed an oil/filter change and I was supplying the oil/filter. He said no problem...I can have you out quick. 25 minutes later he was ringing me up to check out. They checked and adjusted my tire pressure, checked to make sure all lights were functional and advised all other fluids were GTG. I'd recommend this place any day all day. read more

I was driving back cross country from Delaware to Santa Cruz, CA when my "Oil change now" light came on my Ram truck. Now, waaaay back in the day (I'm talking 1980's) I could do my own oil changes and such (my Dad taught his little girl right), but look....cars/trucks aren't the same anymore so I drove to this shop and they did a great job! These gentlemen were polite professional and knew their stuff. They saved the day and we got home safe and sound! Went in today for an oil change and outer for the gold package. This includes window cleaning vacuuming all fluid checked and the oil change. I have owned my car for 4 years and have had many oil changes done. It always takes 5 quarts. Today they charged me for 6. I told them that wasn't correct. They told me that it's what they put in so that is my charge. After leaving I checked the level. It was way over full. I checked with Kia and a couple other locations and they all stated that it was to much and that it would hurt the engine to be over full. I went back to have them correct it and get a refund. They drained some oil gave me 3.00 and said get out. Then when I was getting back into my car they said there goes the a**Hole of the day, also the Windows were not cleaned. I was passing through town and due for an oil change on my little RV. Called these folks up as I pulled off the highway to see if I could come in for an oil change the next day, and they said absolutely, and also said it would be best if I came after the restaurant next door closed at 1pm. Fine by me, gave me a little time to explore Cheyenne. Headed over there after lunch and could definitely see why it would've been a problem if the restaurant was open, they kinda share a parking lot and the space is tight. Restaurant closed, however, I had no problem and they pulled me right in. Had my oil changed and fluids checked in no time, and I was out the door for a very fair price! Fantastic!!!! five stars is not enough. This is the first time in my life I did not change my own oil. I decided I wasn't going to do it anymore I was not saving any money doing it myself. I have been driving past what is now "Jones Lube, and More" since the days it was a Jiffy Lube. I needed an oil change so I pulled in. Was greeted as soon as I stopped and told the man I need an oil change he smiled shook my hand and told me we can take care of that. I elected for the "Gold" service which not only was an oil change but they vacuumed my truck out, checked and refilled all of the fluids, transmission, rear differential, power steering, filled the window washer tank, checked the air filter. etc. They feature Mobile oil, I elected for the High Mileage version. I needed new wiper blades and they installed a set of those as well. All of this in less then a half an hour, I will never change my own oil again. Jones Lube and More has a new customer. I learned they do windshields and when it is time for my next oil change I am going to have them install a new windshield. To do this call the day before so they can have the windshield waiting for you. Not just courteous, but friendly, service from this local business. I always make it a point to deal with local Cheyenne businesses and "Jones Lube and More" is one of the very best. You know what the best part is; I do not have greasy dirty hands, junk in my eyes, a dirty filter, empty oil containers, and drain oil to content with. Sweet!!!!!!! read more

We took our car to Jones Lube & More because we knew we had several problems and figured he'd know "MORE" about automotive repair then just oil changes. Sadly this is not the case, in our opinion. When we went to pick up the vehicle after Jones had "diagnosed" it, we asked him to explain how the part he said needing replaced was causing all the other problems. Jones basically refused to explain by raising his voice, throwing his hands in the air, and stating, "listen, you asked me to take a look at it, I got it in this morning, THIS IS WHAT I'M TELLING YOU IS WRONG!" Needless to say we left and took our car to another repair shop, where we learned the part Jones was trying to get us to replace WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF THE ISSUE. We would not suggest anyone take their vehicle to Jones for "MORE" than an oil change. You may end up spending several hundred dollars on something that was not necessary and still not have your problem resolved. read more

Lube might be okay, but Use caution if you need repairs. They gave me an estimate of over $600 for a passenger side hub and axle, plus a day to get parts. Went to a different shop and paid less than $400 for a driver's side hub. They also assured me that the axle was okay. read more
