Special thanks to…read moreNathan for being the first person (after 2 other Autozones and an auto repair shop) to notice one of the main issues with my battery and discovered that the Autozone guy who installed it several winters ago had scammed me. They gave me a brand new battery (the one I paid for and should have been given 2yrs ago by the scammer), and were able to tell me directly that I needed a new alternator. Service was professional, supportive, and they took the time to clearly explain what happened and what needed to happen. Not going anywhere else for future battery needs For the future, avoid this scammer: Arius Booker. Took my old battery and "left to get the new battery" then bought and returned the new one and installed another old battery. Then insisted on me paying cash after installing it, knowing I'd be stuck w/o the battery.

Fortunately for me, they had about eight vans that were comparable to the van I was working on. The process was easy. I had checked online so I knew they had four vans on site that were matches. Knowing what you are looking for is a big help. The rows are pretty well indicated on the outside of the sections. Each vehicle has its own label to identify model & year. The counter staff was helpful. The check out was great. I paid about forty times less for my part than to get an OEM replacement. The vehicles are spaced well enough apart to easily work on them. You need to bring your own tools, but I feel that's common sense. If you're coming to find a part to harvest, you best bring your gear, otherwise got to an auto parts store. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for a first timer. Thank you all for your help, and for the off duty police office who was there to keep us safe.
