This was the 3rd AutoZone I'd seen in last week due to car battery problems. Special thanks to Nathan for being the first person (after 2 other Autozones and an auto repair shop) to notice one of the main issues with my battery and discovered that the Autozone guy who installed it several winters ago had scammed me. They gave me a brand new battery (the one I paid for and should have been given 2yrs ago by the scammer), and were able to tell me directly that I needed a new alternator. Service was professional, supportive, and they took the time to clearly explain what happened and what needed to happen. Not going anywhere else for future battery needs For the future, avoid this scammer: Arius Booker. Took my old battery and "left to get the new battery" then bought and returned the new one and installed another old battery. Then insisted on me paying cash after installing it, knowing I'd be stuck w/o the battery. read more

Super helpful and friendly folks. I came in for windshield wipers and knowing they have both the supplies and the know-how to install them, I always come here. The staff at this location were eager to help and when the manager noticed the clerk installing my wiper blades struggling, came out and helped complete the job. Get in the zone! (Aaaand wait 15 minutes before someone will help you.) ...wait, isn't that how the jingle goes? Well, that's how it went for me--not once, but two days in a row. Not being helped is worth me NOT coming back. But I was stupid enough to go back for a second time the next day and wait aaaaagain. I don't know if it's just because this is a busy location for them or if I was just being impatient, but either way I'm over it. If you can actually get help, I've purchased lots of useful things for my vehicle at AutoZone. They seem to have fairly decent prices on windshield wipers, which I needed to replace when one of mine randomly flew off on the freeway. Whoops. They'll also instal them for you if you have no idea what you're doing. They've also given me some helpful advice on my "check engine" light and offered up some cheap ways to possible remedy the situation. All these instances were at different locations, though. I hooked up an after market stereo as my girlfriends Xmas present and had the wrong harness. Left the head unit out and killed my battery. I thought the issue was more severe until and employee Kevin Turo at the 117th location helped me out. Really sounded like he knew what he was talking about and all is good again. Thank you Kevin. Visiting this store is like taking a vacation to hell. Absolutely NO covid precautions are enforced. Every employee including the supervisor had their masks down around their chins. The person 'helping' me at the counter was eating pistachios with her bare hands, basically shoving her fingers into her mouth, and then touching all my receipts when handing them back to me. She was also incredibly rude the entire time. I would avoid this store at all costs, although I have had similar experiences at other autozones when it comes to Covid precautions. Apparently this company as a whole doesn't care much about public safety, since they refuse to wear the masks that are half on their faces, and despite the fact that the sign on the door says 'masks required'. Also, there is no hand sanitizer available for guests anywhere. read more

So, I end up with a cracked battery terminal decided to go to advanced auto parts. I asked the gentleman working if you can help me, he says," no sorry we don't help outside of the store." As I'm outside in the freezing cold after giving the store my money, hard earned money I see this guy walking out to help another customer on his car. Wow! Spent less than 10 minutes there this morning. The person that waited on me was very nice and did not push the most expensive option. He asked me if I wanted the wipers put on the car instead of assuming I was a helpless female (which of course I am when it comes to car things). What a wonderful experience!!! read more

Worst experience ever buying a car part ,had to go to three other stores across town to complete my order..the man on 117 seemed to be very professional until I made it to my shop to discover he gave me the wrong part.Really!!! I will say they aren't perfect in all areas, but they always get me what I need, put it in my car, and they do it right with the right products. I have been to other auto parts stores where the workers are serious idiots- i.e. I brought in a lightbulb and the guy gave me a lightbulb yes, but physically obvious not the correct one. This Auto Zone is busy, but the store managers are excellent!!!!!!!! I would def recommend this store and this location- any other place in this area, omg terrible! read more
