Try to avoid the O"reilly Auto Parts store on Gate City Blvd ( High Pt Rd). They are constantly…read moregiving me the wrong parts. You have to watch them very closely and examine the parts you get before U leave the store . I have been coming here for many years and have learned to go to another location like the one on S Elm St or Randleman Rd before I come here. They people they have working behind the counter just don't care, are very lax or just punch up anything on the computer that looks close to what you ask for . There is a constant turnover here of counter workers and managers. You come in 6-8 months later and alot of the people you used to see don't work there anymore and that includes managers too. I needed some lower control arms for my car. They gave me 2 left arms instead of a right and a left. I should have been more careful when one of the boxes was taped shut indicating that the box had already been opened and someone returned this part to the store. If you see this, just tell them to give U a different brand new part that does not like it was already opened and returned. Once we got the parts put on, it scraped real bad on one side bec the wrong part was put on and it was chewing up the inside of my aluminum alloy wheels. I had to have the part taken off and return the old part and get a new one, wasting more time and money not to mention the damage to my wheel rim . Another time, I needed axle seals for my cv front axle on my car. My car has automatic transmission and the ones they gave me were for a car with manual transmission and they were too small when we had the car all torn down and ready to install the seals . I had to take them back to the store but they did not have the correct seals in stock . So I got my money back and went down the street to Advance Auto parts and they had them for a little more but at least we got the job done that day . The guy at the counter was not paying attention to what he was pulling up and had given me the wrong seals. I noticed he did not work there any more a few months after that. Wonder why ? They did have a really good manager there for awhile from out of state that knew his stuff but he didn't last very long there either. Guess he knew too much. This also happens at other stores too like the Randleman Rd store. I needed a brake line for my truck and they gave me one that didn't fit on the end. It didn't screw in like it should have. I had to take it back and get the right one . You cannot really expect that much from people who are making $8 an hour I found out. It's very frustrating dealing with this company . You should just ask the manager to help you every time you go in there to make sure you get what you are supposed to get . And their reward program sucks too. It's not even worth it. I think you have to spend like $175 in parts before they give you a tiny reward of maybe $5 or something . Not worth the hassle.

I go to the Dealership to get my oil changes only, recently when the dealership did my oil change, I let them know my taillight is malfunctioning, I asked them if it was only the bulb, when they came back to me they said they needed to replace the whole taillight for almost $500! That was insane I trusted my gut and went to Eurobahn, I asked them if they could check it out while they were doing the alignment for my car, all it needed was the bulb being replaced, the light is gone. I told my advisor Felix I want everything up front no bs, if it needed to be done I would've done it, but Felix literally saved me hundreds of dollars to not fall for that. From now on I'm getting my services done here. Dealerships are ripping people off. I had a great experience here everyone is kind.
