A loud noise started the day before and proceeded to get louder on the day of my travels. I called John to get it checked out, but shortly after getting air put into my tires (elsewhere), the sound stopped. So, informing John, we thought the problem was resolved, until I proceeded a short distance on the beltway. The sound came back louder. Long story short, God allowed me to get to John and Justin at Old Town Auto Works on Reynolda Road, Winston Salem NC. They identified the problem immediately, finding that it was due to my dry rotten tires. One of which was on the verge of exploding. The issue couldn't be seen from the outside of the tire. Justin showed me how the fibers and the rubber had been worn off and practically bursting at the seam on the inside of my passenger tire. After our discussion, I'm thinking they were taking my car to install my spare tire, instead they installed a tire that was a replica tire of my tire from a junk vehicle they had at the shop. After inquiring of the cost, I was told there would be no fee. John and Justin stayed over time to help me, because the shop was officially closed by the time I reached them. By the time everything had registered in my brain of what they were saying to me and what was done, I left shop's parking lot in full fledge "Ugly Cry" mode. LOL!!! God, John and Justin basically saved my life that day. I am sooo grateful, words can not explain!!! I have an oil leak. They changed out a vvt solenoid and gasket. Charged me $940.58 and said it was…read morefixed. I seen the oil leak spot where I park at home looked wet one day and took it back. I told Scott it shouldn't take long to fix it and I'll stay until its fixed. Scott gets on the phone with the owner and in a smart*** tone says yeah this girl here says she put a cardboard box under her car and there's some fluid under it and she thinks it can be fixed in a few minutes. He tells the owner I'm staying with my car. The owner said he was on the way. Wolfe got it on the lift and was like yeah you leaking oil. The owner gets there and calls in a pvc washer and hose after looking at the leak. He replaces that no charge and says bring it back in when you got 100-150 miles on it so we can see if it's still leaking oil. I bring it back a few days later with 99 miles extra on it. I bring the UV dye and UV flashlight to pinpoint the exact leaking spot. Got it from Advance. They run it through and the owner Micheal Blackmon says its leaking from the timing wall and its a 4hr job. He tells me to call back in a few days because he has to look up the price online for that job. He wants $988 to fix what wasn't fixed in the first place. If you want criminals of Satan to take your hard-earned money, then go here. I reported them to the BBB

I've had nothing but great experiences with these men. They're the absolute best and I trust them 100%. They're always super busy, but take the time out of their day to give a helping hand or explain things to you. I was stuck on the side of the road and needed a new tire one night. Every place was closing and wouldn't answer their phones. Except these guys! They were more than willing to help. They stayed after hours and flagged me down when I was driving up to their shop with a smile on their face. Instead of being rude or upset, they were the opposite. They were so caring and considerate. The guy was telling me he'd want someone to do the same for his daughter who's around my age and help her out in a stressful situation. This last time I had an appointment with them. I needed an oil change and my transmission fluid changed out. They were super fast! They always answer when you need them. They're just a short phone call away. They don't make you feel stupid and are more than willing to help you out and explain things to you. I like them the most because they genuinely want you to be safe in a car that runs well. They don't BS with you and are upfront with information without overcharging you for anything.
