Lawnmower Diehard battery from Advance Auto Parts is two days out of warranty and these guys are "sorry nothing we can do but put it on our charger overnight". BS is my charger doesn't charge it then yours isn't going to perform any miracle. Now they want to replace and are trying to up sell me. I get 90 day warranty but not willing to do any pro rata or anything. I've spent tens of thousands with this store but never again.

    Replacing burned out fuse

Battery died. Came back and they tested it. Sure enough, dead. They were able to find my records and see that my battery was still under warranty! I received a new battery and they even installed it right away for me. My only qualm is the 3 year warranty doesn't renew with the new battery. The warranty is only good for the remainder of the time left from the previous battery. I asked, but there is no way to pay to extend the warranty. Otherwise, they helped me find a replacement fuse and even recommended some hood lifts which I had installed by a nearby shop for only the cost of labor. The lifts work great! Their hours are very reasonable, although I wished last night that they were open til 9! Just missed the closing cutoff last night, but took care of business early this morning. Last week I had purchased the wrong headlight (bought the high beam bulb instead of the regular light bulb) and they were quick to exchange and didn't make it a hassle for me. Great place to get everything you need to fix your car. Even my 15 year old car!

    Great variety!

The last three times I needed a part right away, they had it when no one else did. Most recently, it was the valve cover gasket for a 2006 Pontiac Vibe, before that it was the radiator fan for the same vehicle, on another visit, a turn signal relay for an older model Yamaha Golf Cart. If you are able to DIY, you can really save yourself a fortune especially when parts like these are plug-and-play. O'Reilly's also carries all of the usual tools, lubricants, cleaning supplies, and accessories you will find in other auto parts stores. O'Reilly's is clean, organized, the staff is courteous and willing to help. I highly recommend shopping here for your auto parts needs.

Walmart Auto Care Center - Sanford (Rinehart Rd) Visit Date:…read more5/24/2026 I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this location's Auto Care Center today due to poor communication, lack of transparency, and the amount of time wasted. At 9:42 AM, I called and spoke with a female associate regarding my vehicle situation. I explained that I would be having my car towed in for a tire replacement/service. She took the tire measurements and confirmed they could assist me. I specifically asked whether it would be a wait and was told yes, with approximately 5-6 cars ahead of me. I also asked whether they would be open tomorrow because tomorrow is Memorial Day (Monday), and I was trying to determine whether I needed to urgently arrange towing and service today or if I could wait until the following day. I was told they would be open. At 11:22 AM, the tow truck driver contacted me and informed me that Walmart rejected my vehicle because I was not physically present when the vehicle arrived. This was never communicated to me during my original call, despite me clearly explaining that the vehicle would be towed in. Had I been properly informed upfront, I could have arranged accordingly and avoided unnecessary delays, confusion, and towing complications. The tow truck driver also informed me that while attempting to deliver my vehicle, he experienced an attitude from a short bald employee working in Auto while being told they would not accept the vehicle. Because Auto Care was refusing the vehicle at that time, the tow driver stated the only thing he was able to do was leave my key fob inside the gas cap area before leaving. This added even more stress and concern to an already frustrating situation. Another major issue throughout this experience was the inability to reliably reach the store by phone. Multiple times, the phone would continuously ring with no answer, forcing me to repeatedly call back just to speak with someone. This inconvenience was especially difficult because I have a disabled mother at home and was already hesitant about leaving her for an extended period of time. Had I been properly informed upfront regarding the policy and realistic wait expectations, I could have arranged appropriate care and transportation plans in advance instead of spending hours dealing with miscommunication and uncertainty. At 11:47 AM, after trying multiple times to reach someone, Leanne transferred me to what she stated was a manager up front. No one answered and the phone continuously rang. I called back again at 11:50 AM and spoke with Joanne, who was the only employee who genuinely attempted to assist me. She listened to my concerns, attempted to reach leadership, and showed professionalism and empathy throughout the interaction. At 11:54 AM, I spoke with Tabitha, who identified herself as a coach. She stated she would contact the Auto Care Center leadership team to get clarification on the policy and look into a solution. She later called back and confirmed the policy, but I again explained that I had not been properly informed earlier in the process. I asked whether anything could be done regarding the inconvenience and additional costs incurred due to the miscommunication, and she stated the cost would be reviewed once I arrived at the auto shop. My vehicle was checked in around 12:30 PM. I attempted to contact Tabitha afterward to let her know I had arrived, but once again I was unable to reach anyone without repeated calls. I then asked the mechanic how long the service would take after explaining my situation, and I was told it would be a minimum of one hour. I agreed to wait. After waiting approximately an hour with no movement or updates regarding my vehicle, I eventually had to arrange to be dropped back off at home. At 2:10 PM, I called again and left a message with an associate requesting a callback from Tabitha. At that point, there had still been no movement on my vehicle. As of 2:45 PM, service on my vehicle finally began, despite my vehicle having been checked in around 12:30 PM and being told earlier that the wait would be approximately one hour minimum. Jacob was the employee who ultimately completed my service and contacted me at 3:08 PM to let me know my vehicle was ready, which I appreciated. He was professional and nice during the interaction. However, it appears the actual service itself took a little over 15 minutes to complete and was completed only after I left my message requesting to speak with Tabitha regarding the lack of updates and delays. As of writing this review, I still never received a callback from Tabitha regarding my concerns or the message I left earlier in the day. This entire experience was unsettling and could have been handled much better with upfront communication, accurate expectations, and better customer follow-through.

Unfortunately it wasn't available in the store; however, I was able to purchase the kit online through the store and have it sent right to my door with free shipping. Ordering online was very easy and the equipment fit just like OEM. We were due for the front pads and rotors and it would have cost twice this amount if I had someone else perform the work. Times are tough and I got the know-how, so this is what we got to do to save $$$$ This store has saved us many times in the past because they carry smaller batteries, odd-ball head lamp bulbs, fuses, and relays that I need for our golf cart and motorcycle. They usually have everything I need in the store but it's nice to know if you must buy it online they will ship it fast and for free most of the time. When shipping charges apply just change the order to pick up in the store get the free shipping. Their pricing for the rotor and brake kit beat out other competitors in the area and we're of a higher quality than you will find for the same price range online. I didn't realize this until i got around to changing my 2 weeks later. I brought the filter back, there were 2 employees behind the counter, one was helping another customer, the second was a different young man who was looking at his phone and did not acknowledge me. The first employee noticed me and had to ask the young man to help me. The young man wore a name tag, "customer satisfaction specialist", which will become very ironic later. I explained to him that I needed to exchange the filter, as they gave me the wrong one last time. No apology. I did not have my receipt, but the filter was in its original box, with the shrink wrap still on the filter, and I had the cc I used to purchase it. He proceeded to tell me he could not find the sale and asked (3 times) if I was sure this was the right store. Then he asked to see my license and scanned it, he said a "no return" flag popped up and asked if I buy and return a lot of auto parts. I told him it was the first time ever, and reminded him I have the cc used (at this location) and that I would not be here, had I not been given the wrong part last time. I had to explain the story to him 3 different times and got the sense he was not listening. He still could not find the sale, but told me the correct part was $2 (yes 2 dollars) more. I asked if my inconvenience at having to come back, due to an error by the store, counted for anything. He just said nope...and then just kinda stood there like he's waiting for me to go away. Finally, he asked the other employee for help, his recap of the situation was that it looks like this was not bought here and the correct part costs more. I had to tell the 2nd employee what actually happened, for the 4th time now. The other employee went to find the right part while Mr. Customer Satisfaction kept looking at his phone. At that point I was visibly frustrated, not what i wanted to be doing on a Sunday AND Father's day. The other employee returned with the correct part and Mr. Customer Service decides to use his words again and say that I owe $2 more. The other employee hands me the part and says, "sorry, we will work this out internally". Mr. Customer Satisfaction goes back to his phone, no apology, no acknowledgement that he has no idea what he's doing and that he's basically getting paid to look at his phone. I live near this store and have always had a decent experience there but after this I will never return.

Prices here are competitive to other stores like AutoZone and O'Reilly's nearby. If you sign up for rewards sometimes you can get deals, $5 coupons and whatnot, but that's no different from other automotive stores locally. One thing this store has that others don't is they usually carry the oil filter, motor oil, and gear lube for my V-Twin motorcycle. I prefer to buy my supply online because I can find it cheaper and in larger quantities; however, there are times I need to bite the bullet, stop in to Advance Auto Parts for a quart of oil to top off my engine or pick up some cleaning polishing supplies before a big bike event. I'd say about 97% of the time they've always come through for me. If they can't get me what I need right away usually another store can bring it to this store the next day or ship it directly to my door. On my most recent visit I stopped in to pick up some windshield cleaner and a cabin air filter for my vehicle. Why the heck have cabin air filters become so dang expensive!!?? They are more expensive than the ones I need for the house. The one I need is priced about $20 everywhere you look, crazy! Even the good windshield washer fluid is running $5.79, yikes, that's inflation for ya. I remember when the Rain X was $3.80 to $4, not no more. The staff here have always been pleasant, greet me when I enter, and send me off with a friendly goodbye. I've never had any issues at this store, but it is a bit dated and the parking lot has some potholes in it that you need to watch for. Also if you're disabled and are in a wheelchair or using a walker you'll have a difficult time entering because the entrance to the door is on a slope. A little bit off topic but good to know is that If you're hungry, Churches Chicken is right next door so that's a plus. If you are in the area and are looking for automotive supplies or parts, this Advance Auto Parts location might just have what you need.
