Made me wait an hour and half just to tell me that they cannot service my truck because it had a piece of plastic hanging out. NOWHERE near the bottom of the engine. While my truck was out sitting there, they proceeded to skip it and allow people that came after me without waiting. Never coming back to this Walmart. Stay away from here.

It's a Honda CRV, not an exotic vehicle and they knew a full week ahead of time we were coming with this model. So they load our tires into the back and have us go to the Walmart in New Hudson. Kind of a pain but not the end of the world. Upon work starting at the second location told that the price to install per tire was not $15 as advertised on the website but $18.50. They apologized for the difference and, yes, an extra $14 isn't a calamity, but after the previous runaround this did not go over well with me. Walmart, please update the pricing on your website to accurately reflect what customers will really pay. I will not be buying tires or having service done here again.

I had an issue with stem cap that corroded and wouldn't come off. After some research and several…read morehours of attempting to remove it using "conventional" methods, I used an angle grinder to get it off. Well, that was a fail and I damaged the cap to the point where the only solution was to have it replaced. I took my truck into Discount without an appointment and James, the store manager, pleasantly greeted me immediately. He came out to assess the damage and made a joke about how all I needed was some super glue. I love jokes so I appreciated the levity. They replaced the stem and patched a hole created by a screw. The best part was they did it at a true Discount- a 100% Discount. I will never grow "tire"d of service like this.

Each time the transaction is smooth and pleasant. The service is quick and effective. I feel secure sending my vehicle here. Having your engine worked on is super-stressful on a variety of levels and this service location does a great job of handling each stage of the process with kindness and efficiency. My car comes back clean and in a timely manner. The team I interact with from the cashier, the service advisor, Sean, the Service Director, Jerry, the chauffer, David and the main mechanics has always been nothing but excellent. I asked them when they called me to tell me they had issues with my van, they had no problem contacting me. They are nothing but liars. For a 240.00 fix they choose to lose a customer of about 30 years. Good riddance. Belle tire, Walmart or even a used tire shop in Detroit would be better then discount tire. I purchased a car from them, trusting their sales pitch, only to realize I was sold a complete lemon. The car had multiple issues right from the start, despite being assured it was in excellent condition. When I brought the car back for an inspection, hoping they'd correct their mistakes, not only did they fail to fix the original problems, but they also managed to add new damage to the vehicle.
