Date of visit: December 26, 2025…read more I am considering a couple vehicles right now, one of them being the Mitsubishi Outlander. I scoped out a couple vehicles online and sent a message through their website at a time while they were closed. Within a day I received an email from a Dwayne, advising that he would look into my inquiry and "be in touch with you first thing in the morning after reviewing your inquiry," and asking me to schedule a visit online. I responded within a minute that I wouldn't be scheduling a visit without knowing if they had what I wanted in stock. I never received any follow up so I went out to the dealership myself and who was I greeted by, but Dwayne. He took my information and went inside to get the key, given the cold temperatures today, after confirming we had looked at all of the Outlanders on the sparse lot, we headed inside as well. While most dealerships look more or less the same, Amato Mitsubishi does not look like all the rest. It looks worse, much worse. The building is clearly in need of some maintenance, by far the nicest thing in the room besides the show cars was the Christmas tree. I did not see any desks or a suitable place to work (I like to stay at the dealership when I have maintenance performed, but there was no place I could get any work done--especially if the music and television was always as loud as it was during our visit), glaring red flags for me. Once we headed back outside, I then really noticed the condition of the parking lot, arguably worse than the interior of the dealership. Large pot holes dotted the asphalt and it really hit home how few cars they actually had to sell. Despite failing to keep his word via email, Dwayne was very nice and did not pressure me in any way, which I greatly appreciated. Between the test drive experience and the lack of other options in the area (what happens if they close, where would I get service?), the Mitsubishi Outlander is not for me.

Was told I did not need an appointment and could just drive in…read more Arrived at the dealership and was told they only did drive up oil changes if they have time and they didn't have time today. I explained my phone call from that morning and the guy in the shop said it's not my problem that our receptionist said that, she works in the sales room not the service department, so she doesn't know what's going on out here, you're not the first person that's come here and gotten mad at me because I don't have enough staff on to take care of an extra oil change. I asked him if he would communicate to the office that drive up oil change is not recommended, and multiple people have been unaware of this and have wasted time and miles, and he said I'm not in charge of who answers the phone that's not my issue.
