I couldn't help but notice he was eating while he refused to help me. I eventually gave up and found it on my own. If you treat customers like crap and you're the manager it only makes people not want to come back to your store. There are many other competitors around that are much much much more customer friendly and helpful.

I feel confident in their automotive knowledge and I believe they operate with integrity. They don't try to over-sell, which I greatly appreciate. Recently, two nails punctured one of my tires. One large nail was inserted in the middle and a smaller near the edge of the tread area. I arrived expecting to buy a new tire. They ordered the tire to arrive the next day, but in the meantime they assessed my tire. It turned out they were able to remove the large nail and fix/close that area and the smaller nail located on the edge (the biggest concern) didn't puncture through. Therefore, I didn't need to buy a new tire. Money saved! The automotive department does an assortment of automotive work, including key making in the same area. I've gone to them for battery replacement, oil change, tire pressure refill, new tires, etc. So I've used them many times in the past and this most recent visit will cause me to continue to use them.

Kasey, Bret & Anthony are excellent...professional, knowledgeable as well as congenial. We had batteries replaced, fuel injection cleaned & 4 new tires (dry rot is not a safe thing!). Our cars were running so well that they didn't feel the same, so I called & went back to Walmart recently just to check to be sure. Kasey & Anthony checked the car & explained what they knew was going on. Bret shook his head in agreement too. Kasey recommended excellent suggestions & with the age of one car that I might want to ask a mechanic to check it out to be safe & sure. I took the oldest car to BYRNES Auto (on Vincennes & Lopp Ave/New Albany, IN...the folks at BYRNES are FANTASTIC too :). When I returned home I immediately called Kasey at Walmart Auto Center to THANK her, Anthony & Bret for all their helpful knowledge, advice & assistance with our cars. Additionally I told her that BYRNES explained what I was concerned about was normal for this older vehicle but now it's running better & not to worry I simply wasn't use to it yet. Both Kasey, Bret & Anthony were spot on. When I called to thank Kasey I repeatedly said, Dawn at BYRNES said this about the car, all I could say was, "that's what Kasey said, that's what Anthony did, that's what Bret told me." Confirmed that WALMART AUTO folks are not only nice people but they KNOW what they're doing! (So do the great folks at BYRNES!) We're seniors, we need our vehicles to run well & we need folks we can TRUST to do a job right & not pull any 'snow job' on the elderly! Age doesn't dull your 'snow job' detector...it sharpens with experience! WALMART AUTO CENTER (Grantline Road, New Albany, IN) & BYRNES (Vincennes & Lopp Ave New Albany, IN) are people we TRUST & HIGHLY recommend :)

I needed that under car wash with all the salt in winter, so I went middle of the road. You enter the mostly automated car wash getting your ride sprayed down by a pair of people with what looks like one of the worst jobs in winter. Seems like you'd never get warm. Once you're past them, your wheel locks in, you put your car in neutral, and the ghost of Mr. G drags you through an automated cleaning canal. Colors change. Suds spray. Scrubbers are applied. Your car is clean. You go into drive and leave. No scratches to my paint. Clean car. Better than being cold and spraying it down myself. This place also offers a ton of membership levels and even has a haunted car wash at Halloween. You read that right.
