AutoZone - The battery that they won't replace it has the manufacturer sticker date rate on it when it was purchased

    AutoZone

Yes, we have an O'Reilly's battery. That was purchased 2/24 which usually is two year warranty…read morebecause we didn't put any number with this product. They won't honor replacing the battery which I think that's pretty shitty not everybody owns a phone or has a number to put down for something that you could clearly see is only under the two year warranty. I just don't understand why they can't replace it and send the battery back to the manufacturer.

Worst store ever. I went in today to do an oil change on our car. As I walked in the sales person…read more(I use this term loosely) asked what I needed. Had he not asked I simply would have walked up to get the components myself. I gave him the year, make and model of my vehicle. After typing it into the computer, he proceeded to tell me how hungry he was then... no lie turned around to check his cell saying "has anyone texted me?". Who he was asking I have no clue but I had to wait for him to put his phone down. We walked back to the oil section and I told him I wanted whatever was on sale and high mileage. He proceeded to tell me that "everything is on sale" before telling me I needed to put synthetic oil in the car. I said I didn't need it, the car has well over 150k and just need the simple on sale high mileage. He proceeded to try to tell me I was wrong but, pulled the normal high mileage oil off the shelf when I said basic (with an audible sigh mind you). He then proceeded to walk over to the oil filter section and tell me that unfortunately the filter that comes with this product is crap. I said it's just our around town car and we don't go far. I said had I still had my mini Cooper I'd opt for something better like a FRAM. He then tells me that's stupid because you can't say FRAM and better in the same sentence. I said I'd used K&N in the past as well and he told me I was stupid because they're crap too... It's at this point, had he continued to talk, I wouldn't be writing this review. I'd be waiting to be bailed out of jail. Had he uttered one more derogatory word, I'd have likely swung on him. I've been working with my dad on cars since I was about 8 years old. I don't assume to know everything HOWEVER, I too am in customer service (albeit in the Information Tech field as a manager), I have NEVER in my life dismissed someones opinion on a product even if I knew they were wrong. I MAY suggest something different based on experience but never act like this. After leaving I called the store. THAT kid picked up and I asked to talk to the manager (Matt). He was at least cordial. I explained to him what happened. He was very apologetic and asked why I didnt say something when I was there. I told him I've got a very even temper with a long fuse, however I'm also Puerto Rican so when the wick is lit.... I told him I couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't have lost it and started screaming so I thought it better to just take my leave. I told him I could have ordered it on Amazon OR just gone to Walmart and gotten equivalent products and probably cheeper too. I said I work more than 40 hours full time and I shouldn't have to deal with this crap on the weekend trying to get items for maintenance on the car. As it is, I've already left feedback on the "autozonecares.com" site which I doubt they'll respond to and left a voicemail at the regional office. In the future, I'll be playing the option of Amazon, Walmart OR one of the other auto stores in the area. Before I left the house I was speaking with my dad and he mentioned that O'Reilly had the oil change for the same price. Hind sight is 20/20 they say but I never thought it could be a foreshadowing. I actually was thinking on the way there to myself if I was going to be hassled. Ironic...

If you're looking to purchase a new Toyota vehicle I would highly recommend Toyota of Wallingford…read more Our saleswomen Shay was outstanding, she went the extra mile to ensure all our wants and needs were met. She was patient and not over aggressive, she was always available to answers questions and make recommendations. She's a true Rockstar that cares about her customers and it shows. We contacted multiple Toyota dealerships in the area to test drive and purchase a new Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota of Wallingford met all of our needs. We will definitely utilize this dealership and Shay Sadosky for our future Toyota purchases! Teressa, Jessica and Dorman

Stay far away from this dealership. There are many others nearby. I worked with Steve Lang who lied…read moreto us the entire time. He told us the optional add ons were not optional on any car and they all come equipped with them, even if we were to order a car through them not on the lot. We negotiated the price based on having these add ons. He was also incredibly pushy. He only had one Corolla on the lot but it was a dark color that we did not want. He got us the color we wanted and said it would be the exact same as the Mariner document he printed of the one they had in stock. Only difference would be the color. When we went to pick it up (a week after they said it would be there and at 6 PM), we had our toddler with us so didn't have much time to look at the car. Once we got home we realized it did not have any of the optional upgrades. We tried handling it with Steve who just yelled and spoke over me the entire time. I told him have the manager call us then I called. He never got back to us until almost a week later after we got toyotacare involved 3 times. Dan the manager was the exact same as Steve. Kept twisting our words and was unwilling to work on a resolution, calling Steve the "most honest guy he knows". You can see from all of the one star google reviews that mention Steve that is not true. Dan also called us liars because we didn't notice until we got home that day. Not sure how that makes us liars when he knows those things aren't included in our car. He also tried to tell us the one we bought is more expensive because more people want them. No more people want them because they're cheaper. It's the exact same car but with no upgrades. How would that be more expensive? You would think they would want to make it right since we have another Toyota that's on the way out. I have also dissuaded my neighbor who is going to be buying a Toyota suv soon and my aunt not to buy from here. I suggest going to any other Toyota dealership nearby unless you like being lied to, bad faith negotiations and being disrespected by grown men.
