When I came back to return it, he refused to help because I didn't have the original paper receipt. I showed him a photo of the receipt and asked him to look up the purchase in the system since it was bought at this store, but he wouldn't even try. I also showed him that the part they sold me did not fit my car, but he just kept saying, "There's nothing we can do." There was no effort to fix the mistake, no exchange, and not even a store credit, even though the error was theirs. Because of this, I ended up losing nearly $300 and had to buy the correct part somewhere else. I've never experienced such poor customer service. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this store to anyone

I like that Tom's knows and posts the miles on the donor vehicles, and prices accordingly. And the prices are very fair. Another thing, which I have learned, is that many of the eBay and other sellers don't actually even have a yard, or a stock. They do some sort of "drop shipping" of items they never see nor handle. But with Tom's, the part is at their yard... removed and inventoried by them. You know what you are getting, and from where it came: them.

I had a Husky tool chest tip over on me earlier in the day causing extensive damage to the chest. So went in search for a new one. I started at Costco down the road. They didn't have anything. So while in the parking lot of Costco, I did a search for Napa stores, as they usually have good quality products. Google Maps suggested this location as the closest. So I headed over. I didn't see any tool chests on the sales floor (usually special order), but I asked if they had any. Gary, who is about the friendliest person ever, said the had one in back that someone ordered and changed their mind. Since it was there for some time, and taking up space in back, he gave me $100 off on it. And here's the kicker. They delivered it for free, from Waterbury to East Haven, the next morning! Since then I have had many great experiences with them: from changing a tire, to getting the recall handled. The staff has always been professional but on a more personal level. They are easy to build a repour with which makes it easier to order parts or make appointments. My most recent was changing the bearings on my rear wheel, I brought it to them and they had it back to me the next day. When every repair shop complains of being overloaded, they seem to be able to take care of a quick job such as mine. What was more impressive was the cost, it was more than reasonable given the afore mentioned "Swamped." work schedule. I will always steer fellow riders to Land and Sea for service and parts. They also have an impressive amount of equipment on the floor for quick delivery. Thanks Land and Sea.

Because they do a good job for a fair price. And they are honest. And they are good guys. Bike always runs great after a service, and stays that way for the rest of the season. Prices are sometimes better than one of the other auto parts stores, and are almost always genuine replacements, and not OEM equivalents. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. I've had them offer to replace wiper blades, batteries and other easily changeable parts - but half the fun is doing it myself. There's a great selection of tools and aftermarket equipment for those who really like to get their hands dirty. I would highly recommend this NAPA outlet if you're a shade tree mechanic, run a large volume repair shop, or somewhere in between.

The same day I drove off with my vehicle I experienced a "jump" when you press the gas. I made them aware of the situation the same day I purchased it, they said they knew what the issue was and they can fix it in a couple weeks. A couple weeks go by they "fix" what they said the problem was but it was still jumping so I brought it to another mechanic which identified the real problem in less than 15 minutes. The transmission was bad and needed to be changed they've been promising to fix it and it's been 5 months still not fixed at this point I can't even drive it anymore no compensation or anything just my money gone so I am going to file a civil lawsuit because I was promised a 30 day warranty and it's been 5 months.
