Review #511 March…read more31, 2025 Updated Review from 1/16/2018 I can certainly say again this AutoZone is My go to store for My vehicle when I won't drive to the Ford dealership plus pay their high install prices for the same products mostly sold here at Auto Zone. I can work on my vehicle when I have to. My January photos of a Duralast battery purchase are posted in detailed from this location. During the deep freeze days in the month of January, I kept receiving an error message inside on the information screen and also the message on the Ford App connected to My Phone of a low battery charge. I called the Ford dealership and was given a two week appointment plus to leave it for the day. The price with install and other testing was outrageous - $556.00. I couldn't accept that price or timeframe due to my work schedule, therefore I stopped in AutoZone and the guys there were helpful and kind enough to test the battery on their equipment in the parking lot FREE N/C. The percentage was 40% which was lower than the 50 % I had checked at home in My garage a few days prior. The store employee helped Me choose a compatible battery to match the factory installed one from 2020. I bought it and arrived back the next day to have the employee install it FREE and gave Me $22.00 credit for the old one. What a efficient and professional service here without the long wait and high installation price at the Ford dealership. ($400.00) I Thank All the AutoZone team members as before in 2018 and again on January 10, 2025 for your kind and helpful knowledge to show great support and service! I was not asking them to replace my battery or perform any major work. During the battery testing process, part of my battery/connection was damaged. When I brought the issue to their attention, the staff and manager did not want to take responsibility or even acknowledge that they may have caused the damage. Even worse, the manager directly accused me of lying about the situation and what had happened to my vehicle. I found that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of trying to inspect the problem and help resolve it, I was essentially told to stay out of the store and contact corporate. What started as a simple request to test my battery turned into a much bigger problem. My vehicle ended up with absolutely no power -- no lights, no electronics, and I couldn't even lock the car. I did exactly what I was told and contacted corporate, but unfortunately they were not much help either. I was basically told that they could address the one cable that was damaged, but that the rest of the problem was my responsibility. That is extremely frustrating considering I came into the store for a simple battery test and left with a much bigger issue. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business handles them. Instead of taking the situation seriously, investigating what happened, and working with me toward a solution, I was accused of lying, told to stay out of the store, and then sent to corporate. Corporate ultimately did not provide a solution for the full problem either. Very poor customer service from both the store and corporate. I came in for a simple battery test and ended up dealing with a damaged connection, a vehicle with no power, being accused of lying, and being left responsible for the rest of the problem. This was an extremely frustrating experience.

They were fast and efficient. However, a month or so goes by after they initially worked on it and my car unfortunately breaks down. I have it towed back to them and they instantly tell me they'll take care of it. Turns out a part provided by Ford that was replaced in March failed and damaged my engine. Although it took some time (no fault of Joe's) I'm very grateful they helped me out and fixed a major problem at no cost to me. I'll continue to recommend and use Correct Car Care for a long time! Shameful, Sad, and nothing short of disrespectful. A vehicle looking to be serviced was nothing…read moreshort of a botched surgery. DAVE, the "manager" who wont take NO as an answer, is a snake oil salesman. Brought into service, with no avail. Failed diagnoses, resulting into a new trans. I decided to scrap the vehicle. For days I received heckeling calls and voicemails, again confirming the car was junk. DAVE reassured me that multiple repairs, as well as a $4000 trans would be provided, and the phone calls would stop. I advised DAVE, that wouldn't be necessary. Yet Dave called and harassed daily about making the sale. Eventually, I agreed on the sake of my family. ONLY if I signed his 3rd party transaction for a transmission. SINCE it wasn't my vehicle, my special needs brother took it in my place, since I was guaranteed such courtesy. FAST FORWARD, the program I applied for involved such an outrageous interest that it would cripple my family. $6500 for a $4000 transmission if not paid in 90 days.. I reached back out to DAVE, only to find disrespect, disgust, and blasphemy as if it were my fault to make such a commitment on a vehicle my brother almost had in his grasp. DO BETTER A2 TRANS.

He inquired as to what he could help me with, I indicated my husband was on his way up to speak with him, and I was just waiting for him. I left a previous review but I did not know how to update the last review. Previously, our vehicle was still under an extended warranty that we purchased for our Cadillac ATS. The owner of A1 had his brother who I believe his name was Sam and a different Front Desk person whose name I cannot remember unfortunately look at my extended warranty paperwork after the diagnose came back of needing a new transmission. In addition to that I had communication issues, ie check engine light would randomly come on and then go off as well as a couple other - indicator lights. The transmission was completely replaced, and because it was under the extended warranty, they were able to get it covered from some company. There was no fee for a deductible to us. The Cadillac ATS is no longer manufactured and was not being manufactured when we purchased it. One of the reasons was the slipping in the transmission. They had to bring in a specialist mechanic to figure out why the different sensors were going off for no reason. I no longer get the check engine light. Fast forward to approximately two weeks ago my husband mentioned that there was something leaking out of the rear of my vehicle on our garage floor. So we took it back up to A1 quality they indicated it was the rear differential that needed to be replaced. We were discussing the possibility of a rebuilt differential however, they do not make rebuilt differentials for our model Cadillac ATS. My husband and I debated whether or not it was worth putting that money into a vehicle based on the age of it. Due to the fact that it now has a brand new transmission and overall seems to be running well. We were going to move forward with the repair. On the way to the shop to drop it off randomly my heater was not working in it. When I dropped it off, I explained to Dave that we needed to find out what the issue was with the heater and how much that repair would be prior to moving forward with the rear differential replacement. After they connected it to their machines and had their head mechanic Mike look at it. Dave passed on the information that it is a communication issue. They believe they have it working now, so we moved forward with replacing the rear differential. Our goal is to get a few more years out of it, and then we will be trading it in on a newer model. These repairs were worthwhile in our opinion based on the fact that the mileage is only 70,000. Time will tell if we made the right decision. However, we found that Dave was communicating through the entire process and updating us before we had to contact him every time. This was a pleasant surprise. The rear differential was repaired in one day and we were able to pick it up the same day. I can always speak to our personal experience with Dave, the owner as well as his mechanics when I say that they have treated us really well! All businesses need to make money to survive and we understand this. It is really nice to have some old-fashioned customer service. There is a warranty on the transmission work that they did as well as a warranty on the rear differential being replaced. I also asked Dave if we sell the vehicle do those warranties go forward to the new owner and he indicated that they did‼ No one is happy when their vehicle breaks down and it is additional money that you did not budget for but it is nice when the experience seems to be direct and honest.
