I received Invisalign treatment from Advance Ortho over the last 2 years. I also had the MSE expander to widen my smile & upper jaw. Dr.K definitely knows what he's doing and helped me to achieve my vision of what I wanted my smile to look like. He is very thorough in his work and made sure my teeth were perfect before ending my treatment. I'm very happy with the outcome of my smile even though it was a long time coming! All of the dental assistants are very personable & friendly. They always made me feel welcome and comfortable during the process. My only complaint would be that scheduling appointments was haphazard at times. They often do not have availability for my schedule which caused me to have an extended treatment because of wait times for getting appointments. I would highly recommend Advance Orthodontics to anyone who wants a great smile!!! I started my treatment back in Dec. 2017 and I am wrapping up in March 2019 (I was projected to finish around June 2019 at the earliest but the clinic managed to fix me up sooner :)). I must say I had such a great experience! Dr. Karotkin and Dr. Rodriguez are both extremely professional and nice, and the staff members are also very sweet and welcoming. From day 1 you can tell that they are really listening to your concerns and working with you to find something that's the most suitable. I had to wear wired braces for my bottom teeth correction, which was the biggest cosmetic concern I had, but they did such a great job that the braces were almost invisible! And, I was able to switch to invisalign in just 10 months. All in all, this clinic is the best in town and I would highly recommend it to anyone. read more

I am posting my review for those who are consider using Advance Orthodontist, for those who are willing to pay $6000 like I did and was not happy with my result, while other places charge about $4000. And of course I do not use my real name or photo on social media. I hope the owner would read and examine the way their office/staff works. TLDR: not worth what you are paying for! Totally not recommended. Dr. Karotkin is very nice and professional. However this office has the worst customer service. My wires and brackets came off causing my gum and cheek to bleed alot. I called in for an appointment and was told there is none until 2 weeks after. I asked the staff to talk to the doctor about my case since this is an emergency and see if they can fit me in as early as possible, staff told me no on the phone without asking the dr.? I called back and talked to another person and finally have an appointment within 3 days. There were 2 times when I was late for my appointment, called in ahead of times and ask if I can come in 15' late, was told "why were you come in late last time and this time? If you come in just 5' late, we have to reschedule you" They rescheduled me, I came in on time and waited for 20'. I was furious. They were extremely nice and professional with me when I came in for the consultation, the fee is pricy but comparing to other place but I was not happy with my result at all. read more

I am impressed with the quality of service and high knowledge on extremely complicated cases. I am over 40yo and this is my fourth ortho treatment. None of the 3 I had before were even close to the level of commitment to fix your problem from the bottom. I have sleep apnea and I learned that thanks to Dr. K. I have a very bad gum recession and I fixed it thanks to Dr. K who put me in contact and worked with Dr. Scheyer to do the treatment while I am having my braces. He has a plan and guide you from start. I will fix my sleep apnea problem and open bite doing an orthognatic surgery once my bite is ready. I am super pleased with Dr. K's team. Anything I need his team is on top of it. I would really recommend you to go, my 6yo daughter will visit him soon since she has already some sleeping disorder and will help me put a plan together to prevent some of my issues I have now. read more

I have had terrible TMJ complications for years, to the point where Botox treatment was suggested. I was told by my oral surgeon that my bite alignment was a huge factor in my TMJ issues, therefore an orthodontist would be needed. Finding an orthodontist who would be able and willing to treat both my bite alignment and TMJ was quite difficult. I was very frustrated and discouraged in my search. Dr. Karotkin was the 4th orthodontist I saw and the FIRST to provide solutions to address both of my issues. Everyone in the office was very welcoming, supportive, and encouraging. This is the second time I have had braces and I have to say, everyone here is awesome! Friendly, nice environment, very clean facility(pet peeve). Dr. Karotkin and the staff know their stuff. My case, unfortunately, is not just a typical case where I'm just straightening my teeth for a prettier smile. My jaw and teeth were both shifting which were giving me terrible, "Wake-me-up-at-night" headaches. Dr. Karotkin was able to identify it and here we are, almost to completion. The others were too cold on manner, rude, too busy to pay attention or care, or too eager to separate me from my money. When I stepped into this office though, I felt warmed and welcome. Dr. Karotkin was friendly and informative. I received pricing and an idea of what the process would be like on the spot and felt completely comfortable and actually quite eager to get started because of how well everyone was treating me. Unfortunately they did not take my insurance, but it didn't matter to me. The difference in customer service and the result was completely worth the price difference and the drive. Janie is one of the friendliest persons you will ever meet and a blast to do business with. I want to try Invisalign. Doctor said I have biting problem and recommend me to spend over three hundred something ordering a testing retainer. I came back from a trip and started to wear it. The next day I realized every time I took the upper retainer off it hurt my teeth in the middle. I called them last Friday. They never call back. They didn't call back today as well. I decided not to use the place. I do not think they really care except for your money. read more
