Mark came out that day, which was very nice. He is very friendly, honest and professional. He quoted me on the spot. He didn't upsell me nor was pushy. He explained everything to me so I could understand. I was very impressed with Mark, I hired him the very next day. What impressed me the most is when I call Mark he always answered his phone. He answered every question that I had. He was very helpful in picking out the right garage door opener. Their website has many to chose from. He gave me the best. He scheduled my service the very next day. Most companies have a 1-2 week timeframe. Time for the install: The gentleman that came was very good. From start to finish he did an awesome job. He was very organized, clean an did a great job. He even had to modify how the garage door motor was placed on the ceiling. My old one didn't have the proper bracket. When he installed the new one he mounted a solid bracket. He programmed all 3 remotes and a keypad unit. You only get 2 remotes with your unit, but I bought another one on the spot. This tech had everything. He trained me on how the motor works, left all the instructions, warranty and cleaned up. I'm very impressed with this company. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an installation or repair with a great price. Their prices were lower than all the other companies. Some companies are a total rip off. When I had to take over my parents house I discovered that I needed a new roof put on the house and…read moreso I called Lyster's because I knew they were the best contractor for the job. They came to the house and worked with me to get the roof done right away . In the end they were able to do the whole roof including replacing some boards as well . They were so easy and great to work with. I got a fantastic price and so I hired them to do the job. I have never regretted hiring them to do the job and they also took the time to completely replace all the gutters too. I recently was told by another company that I was in need of a new roof and probably some boards too. The guy said that I had black mold in my attic as well. The guy was from Top Home Improvements. I had went to the Senior Expo a couple of weeks ago and they had a both there so I signed up to get a quote and roof inspection. I would never ever use that company to do anything on my house ever! The guy outright lied to me and the pictures he said that he showed me indicating that I definitely needed to get my roof replaced and have some other repairs too. In the end I showed everything to the guy from Lysters and he pointed out to me that the first pictures he had taken were of my house but the pictures he showed me of what was supposedly my with damaged shingles and supposedly some soft spots in the roof. Indicating that I also needed some boards replaced too. In the end the guy from Lysters went up on my roof and looked it completely over then said to me your roof is in great shape and he also told me that if I had a leak in the roof causing black mold to grow in there then the water leak would also have gone down to the main level of the house and I would have water spots showing up. I have no water spots anywhere in the upstairs of my home. Once again just proving that I was actually lied to. The great news was I not only didn't need a new roof at all and the one I have now is going to be fine for at least another 10 to probably 15 years. I felt so relieved because the quote from Top Home Improvement was for just under $35,000.00 ! I can assure you that if I ever need work done on my home I will never call anyone but Lyster's to do the job. As for Top Home Improvement I would never use them for any job. I'm just so angry that they outright lied to me and almost cost me a substantial amount of money that was never necessary to spend whatsoever. I guess I would say buyer beware of who you call to do important work on your home. By not getting a second opinion I would have spent a huge amount of money that wasn't really necessary at all. I have also learned that from now on before I hire any company to do work on my home I'll definitely be checking with the Better Business Bureau too. They collect information about all kinds of companies and post the reviews of what other people have had to say about the company.

I wasn't sure if the company was still making the material. I spoke w a woman named Lexi. She said she would get back w me. I called again with the square footage of my room and left the information with the woman who answered the phone. I didn't hear back that week and called again on October 23. I was told that the info was in Lexi's email and that Lexi was "on a well deserved vacation" and was off for her sons birthday. I asked when I should call back. The woman told me "like I said Monday the 31st" (FYI..she never said a date. Just said she was off). I called yesterday, November 3, giving Lexi some time to catch up after her vacation. She answered the phone and asked what I needed. So I went through the whole story. She told me she left me a voicemail (if she did, she left it on wrong number, I have no history of a missed call or of a voicemail from her). She told me the material is discontinued. I asked for the name of my product. She didn't want to look it up. But finally did. And I asked her for the company's phone number (I figured they might know where else I could get something like this or mill it for me...because she suggested they may), she said "you can Google it". I said, no, you can give it to me....she hung up on me. I did call back to talk to a manager and was sent to their normal voicemail. It was approximately 8k worth of hard wood that apparently she didn't want to sell me for some reason. I called the manufacturer and was told that in fact this was not discontinued, they re-mill it all of the time and that they have 8,000 square feet in their warehouse. I called 2 other vendors to check prices and "miracle" they found it and quoted me on the phone right then. So run away from this place. Do not use them.

Very friendly to talk to and work with. They started early in the day and finished before expected. There was always open communication with the owner and the 2 young men that did the actual work were friendly, pleasant and focused. They were knowledgeable and answered every question asked. Further, both when I dropped off the lamp and when I picked it up, the lady who worked with me was very kind, personable, prompt and professional. So pleasingly, they fixed my lamp by the next day and the cost was extremely reasonable!! Great service is so rare these days, but these folks knock it out of the park with an excellent and consistent customer experience. The sales clerk appeared reluctant to look up the piece in a catalog and was unwilling to look in more than one reference. Her complete disinterest in pursuing a sale seems to be a company policy; other store employees who were not helping customers were well within hearing did nothing to encourage customer satisfaction. I would discourage anyone from patronizing Hodgson Light, Log and Patio.
