FRAUD ALERT. Do NOT give credit card number to this company when you call them. They will make a bogus receipt for SPECIAL services and charge $300 even if you didn't book for moving by them. Someone named Austin at this company did exactly that to us and now I have my credit card company investigating his frauduent action. This company did my move back in August and packed all my belongings in storage. I waited this long before I wrote a review because I wanted to see if my furniture and belongings were in good condition. I was initially scheduled with another moving company, but I made a mistake and scheduled my move on a day I was not in town. Unfortunately, the moving company I had scheduled with had no other availability in my time frame. I was on a cruise and couldn't just fly back so I was frantically trying to find movers. I was in the process of selling my house and the new tenants were excited to move in. I called everywhere. No one had any availability except for Advanced Relocation Services. I was so grateful. I had talked to the owner/manager, and he seemed really nice. He kept me up to date with move date and made sure that there were no changes on my end. Moving day comes and the movers arrive. There are three polite guys. They get started with the move. I can hear a lot of noise upstairs and I thought they were just moving quickly. Unfortunately, I had to leave and run errands, but my husband is there. I tell him to call me when the move is done. My husband calls and tells me that there are some damages along the walls from the move. I talk to the lead guy there and he says "Don't worry, accident's happen" then proceeds to tell me that's what they have insurance for. Keep in mind that I move every couple of years, and I have never had my walls nicked so bad. At this point I'm freaking out, because I had my interior walls painted for my buyers. I tell one of the movers that I need it fixed asap because I just had it painted and my house is expected to close soon. He assured me that someone would come out within a day or two to repaint the house. Well, 2 days later and we still haven't heard anything so we call the manager directly. Mind you, my husband and I are no longer living in that house and we live about 40 minutes away. The manager then tells us that it will be another week or so for someone to paint the house. The "assigned" painter no shows on my husband once after he drove 40 minutes to meet him at the house. Then the painter says he is coming back another day to fix it, but for whatever reason that doesn't happen. Now the buyers have moved in, and they were provided the painter's number so that they could work out a time frame of when the painter could come and fix up the dents. The new owners couldn't get a hold of him. They were so frustrated they just told us to cancel the painting job because this company did not seem credible. I just moved into a new house and used Kangaroo Movers. The three young men were very careful with my belongings. After they left, I inspected the walls for any damages and found none. I was extremely pleased with their services and will use them again for future moves. I moved to a rural location, and they still did the 1.5 hour drive to do my move. I gave them a 20% tip because they did 10x better job than this company. I have enclosed some photos, but the damages are worse in person. read more

We were a victim of bait and switch. They promised a certain price over the phone, emailed a higher price, and then jacked up the price a lot at time of delivery. They didn't listen to my directions in the moving process and damaged some things. It's really the price jack that was unacceptable. If you must work with this company- make sure you know exactly how much your move will be. If they can't commit, go elsewhere. read more

Let me tell you what a great job these guys have done for my clients. I am a realtor and I do offer moving services as a gift. My clients has a little 1 year old and another one on the way. I didn't want them to worry about moving, especially their piano. These guys took care of my clients with personality and professionalism. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you guys! The owner for Advance came and looked at my house gold goods and gave me my estimate. He went out of his way and adjusted the schedule to accommodate me for my time frame needed. Team showed up on time and was very polite and professional. The lead Perry knows how to pack a truck let me tell you. They were very careful with all my belongings and both residence when moving in and out. It was long day for the team and they didn't complain at all. If I were able to give a negative star rating I would. During the move they had left a number of dents in the walls, and were rough loading and unloading my belongings. The movers at first said they couldn't get all of my household goods moved, and had to remind them I was paying for them to move my whole house. When speaking to the owner he stopped by to see the damages and stated his maintenance person would fix the damages, which also included damage to my front door, and the combination lock that was just installed. The day the maintenance person was to show up he called and said he would be an hour late, then all of a sudden the company forgotten the address to home that they damaged. The new owners of the home also tried to contact the owner and the maintenance person, and both went right to voicemail. Stay away from this moving company if your home and your household goods mean something to you and your loved ones. read more

The star is coz i can't leave it blank.. i do not recommend to anyone..So my move from 8am and still going on till now. They drag there feet and take there sweet time. They charge per hour so go figure. Am am stressed beyond stressed. And to think they promised a quick swift move. I regret my decision to hire them. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this company. The only reason I gave two starts instead of one is because the nice guy named Joseph. He was polite and did his job well during the whole process. But, we hired two for this moving. Another guy named Louis clearly had no idea of what he was doing.. most of the time he either just stood there and watched Joseph to move and arrange the truck space, or just moved a small stuff like a chair or a side rail of bed frame at one time in between the storage and the truck.. It supposed to be an easy move, from storage to a nearby single family home, only need to load and unload our staging furnitures (not that heavy/solid wood kind) and linens, place furnitures on main floor and some go to garage. No wrapping, unwrapping and assemble needed. In the end it took 3 hours for them to finish and plus another 1 hour as travel fee which made 4 hours in total for the final charge. As a comparison, last time another moving company Movable helped us with packing, wrapping, moving from two different homes to the storage, two guys they only took 3 hours, plus a flat travel fee. I guess the owner got some good reviews must have reasons, but please hire and train the right people to keep your business reputation. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY- THEY WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO DELAY THINGS TO CHARGE YOU MORE. I'm a person with medical disabilities and I hired this company to move 12 large boxes, 1 queen bed, 1 crib and little random things because I physically cant move them. We moved within 10 miles, and everything was ready to be picked up, put in the truck and start driving. The movers, purposely were 45 minutes late, purposely delayed things, took long smoke breaks, and took 1 hour to drive 9.1 miles. The workers preyed on the fact I was not home and my wife was alone to take this long, my wife is soft spoken and didn't stood up to them. This company and their employees are dishonest, unprofessional, and will do whatever they can to charge more. This move took 7 HOURS, and cost 1000$. read more

Working with A.R.E was the easiest part of our move! They came prepared (moving ready and COVID ready), and were both thorough and friendly. I had three pieces of antique furniture to move, two of which needed to be taken down a twisty staircase. They took the time to really assess each item, wrap it effectively, and worked together to get things safely onto the truck and into my new apartment. I would not recommend as they are slow in service and I feel they over charge. The time they estimate after looking at your household stuff, and the time they take to deliver there is big variance and you end up paying much more than original estimate. I work in Senior Assisted Living and during this pandemic most moving companies are unable to accomodate a move but Advance Relocation Experts were able to do so and adhered to all our safety precautions and protocols. This company saved the day for me and I am very grateful! I had two seperate moving companies bail on me last minute (one was a no-show with no call), so my move from my apartment was delayed by two days. Very frustrated, I called Advance Relocation Experts and Austin answered my call and was very friendly. He listened to me vent about what had happened, told me there was an opening on Sunday (I was originally trying to move on Friday but two companies no-showed in a row) and said they'd call me ahead of time to let me know when they would be arriving. I couldn't have asked for a better company to call after dealing with two horrible companies, Austin was very sympathetic and offered to add a third mover to get the move done even faster which I appreciated. I also asked if they could take some of my old furniture to the dump and they gladly offered the service at a reasonable price. When they arrived, Austin was there to greet me first with a handshake and a smile. He was very friendly and professional, told me the details of the move and then introduced me to the team of movers. He then explained the situation to his team, it made me feel better that he took the extra effort to sympathize with the situation and wanted this moving experience to be different than what I had just dealt with, moving can be very stressful and Austin made sure that I could relax knowing the move was in good hands. The moving team were just as friendly as Austin, they were also very professional and fast. My entire move took less than 2 hours, which was impressive for moving a two bedroom apartment filled with furniture to a three bedroom house. They took good care of my belongings, wrapped every TV with moving blankets, as well as my dressed and anything else that could get damaged in the truck. When they were moving my posessions in the the new house they would stop and ask where I wanted each piece of furniture and equipment. Everything that was clearly labeled was placed in the right spot, they were careful to make sure everything was in the correct room and I appreciated that. They really made an effort! I normally don't write reviews on Yelp but I wanted to make sure that Austin and his company have a 5 star rating from me, they saved the day and I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience.
