Our AC went out in the middle of a heat wave - turns out it was 30 years old. Advanced came out on a Sunday morning and got it working again and offered us a discount of the same cost on a replacement system if we needed/wanted to do it in the next 30 days. Within the week we had another kind gentleman come out and give us an estimate on a whole new system, at 3 different levels. So often guys come out and give estimates in very mansplain manner, that was not at all the case with Advanced. He explained everything without being condescending or rude and I appreciated it. After considering each option and the fact that it was 90-100 degrees everyday we scheduled installation within the week. I was able to booked an appointment in the following week smoothly. The technician, Charles, who came to service my units was very professional and courteous. He called on his way to my place and arrived on time. We were concerned of COVID. Charles not only wore a mask throughout the service but also used shoe covers whenever he was inside the house. After he completed the service, he cleaned up areas he worked in and even swept the dusts on the floor that fell from the attic during the service. After he had serviced both of our AC's, Charles wrote a detailed diagnostic report . He took the time to explained the findings to us and answer our questions. I had a wire blow on my air conditioner. I thought it was the capacitor but as it was after 5pm on a Saturday, no electrical stores were going to be open until Monday. I called Advanced Air looking for someone to help get the system fixed that night. Joe was willing to meet me along one of his routes to sell me a new capacitor and wire. After checking the capacitor, he told me that it was actually fine, and that there was probably some other issue with the system that overloaded that wire. He gave me a new wire but didn't guarantee how long it would last. For all of this consultation, he didn't ask for a penny. Thanks to Joe, I was able to reinstall the capacitor with the new wire and the system has been running. We plan on replacing it asap, but at least we don't have to live without AC until then. read more

I wish I did not need these people but I'm so glad they are here when we do. Our AC was failing to cool late in the day yet they were able to get Joe out the same evening to see us. He and his assistant were able to analyze the the problem (a failed circuit board) and were able to come up with a temp solution to keep it working for the evening. Everything from answering messages, prompt scheduling, and customer interaction was highly professional (and friendly). I had some pretty tight scheduling constraints (including next day work on the weekend) and it was accommodated easily and painlessly. My issue was a bit tricky and took a couple of visits, but once they figured it out, they refunded me completely for the previous visit... as if they hadn't already gone above and beyond with dealing with my tight scheduling issues. Our old (2002!) AC wasn't cooling the house down for some reason and it stayed at a muggy 78 degrees on Sunday. I contacted them late on Sunday evening and Advanced had me set up for an appointment on Monday afternoon. Amazing turnaround time! Charles came by and fixed our problem, walked me through what was the issue (breaker was flipped off) and was frank in setting my expectations about how long our system will last. A technician named Bruce arrived on time. He was friendly and checked our AC and determined that we needed a new capacitor. He installed it, which fixed the problem. No one likes to come home after work on a cold day to find that their furnace is failing to consistently heat the air. After calling the afterhours number for the company that I have had all my previous "repairs" done and not receiving a call back, I hopped on Yelp did a search and found Joe with Advanced Air Conditioning and Heating. He was willing to come out and do an afterhours visit, but during our conversation the furnace started to work and instead decided to have him come out the next day to take a look at it. Now, being a first-time home owner, I used the company who installed my HVAC system to have it repaired/serviced, but after having called them out twice to take a preventative approach to having a system failure and them saying "I don't see anything wrong" without doing any diagnostic work, I was already in the market for someone new. Joe called and asked if he has an opportunity to come over early if that was okay, so I agree. He calls me up before he heads to my house. When he gets to my place he wears protective "shoe covers" while in my home. He is incredibly friendly and professional. Now, when he inspects my furnace it isn't doing anything wrong, but I describe what it was doing and the error code I witness on the zone board (error C4 on XCI Smartzone board) which gives him enough information to make a call and determine that the Zone board is failing/shorting. We agree to replace it with a different brand (trying to replace it with the same brand would have taken a few days and the brand we settled on seemed better and available). Joe came out the next day (was running a little late, but he still showed up within the window and he let me know he was running late) to perform the install of the new zone board. He found out that the company who installed the zone board originally took some "shortcuts" which probably contributed to the board failing. Joe installed some additional equipment to prevent that from being a factor again with the new board. After he was finished he showed me all the work that he did, gave me a thorough explanation of how my furnace should now work, and his findings from his inspection of the furnace itself. The price of everything was a little higher than expected (truth I didn't know what to expect), but from google searching the price of the equipment, his time\experience and professionalism, getting the job done, peace of mind (who can put a price on that), getting 2 seasonal service visits, plus a discount on repairs, I would say in the grand scheme it is a GREAT value. TL:DR; - Joe is awesome. He's like finding a really good doctor for your HVAC. I'm a new client and he will continue to get my business. I hope that as his success continues that 5 years from now he'll be able to provide the same quality as he has more clients. read more

Lightning struck my unit during the night, so I called Advanced AC with a bit of a 911 situation. They called me when they were on their way and were at my home within an hour and 15 minutes of my call working on my repair.
