I called them this morning due to a very loud screeching noise that was coming from my front brakes. I was told to stop by this afternoon, which I did. Of course when I got there, the noise had stopped. Isn't that the way it always happens?! When I arrived, Jonathan greeted me outside, he listened to what the issue was and promptly pulled my vehicle in and put it on the lift. It was discovered that I picked up a rock that got caught in the rotor, resulting in the awful noise. No damage was done, fortunately. I can not tell you how much I appreciated the honesty. He charged me a more than fair rate for the diagnosis....nothing. I certainly wasn't expecting that. This is beyond amazing customer service. Since I was there, I decided to ask about getting a quote on a service another establishment told me that I needed to get done asap, which was quite costly and I wanted to get other quotes before committing. Well, he looked at the issue, did a test and it was determined that what I was told was not even needed (replacement of rear leaking struts). There was nothing leaking and it passed the "bounce test" with flying colors. Jonathan told me he wouldn't even quote it because it wasn't necessary work. After being there about 1 hour and 15 minutes my wife called and said she was ready and how long it was going to take. All the desk people were busy so I walked outside to see how far my car was so I could let my wife know. To my surprise it was parked same spot I had parked when I had got there. So I asked for my keys and left. No apology or anything. I hope they get it figured out. Update: They called back and apologized and I should of communicated more as well but they got my car right in and are doing the tires as we speak. I try to do all my auto work because of reliability/trust issues with auto shops. Truck needed a…read morefuel pump and the gas tank needs to be dropped to replace. Too much work for me to do. Took truck in to replace a fuel pump. I provided the fuel pump. Took about 3 hours. Once picked up, told me fuel pump works but gauge is reading empty. (this pump is in the tank and there is a lever with a float attached to the pump). Went to the gas station to put in gas and tank would not vent at all. Couldn't fill it. They stated I must have a bad pump. Got a new one under warranty and went to another shop. Found out first shop pinched a wire in the new pump, forgot to attach the float and lever to the new pump, and crushed a vent line with one of the tank support brackets. I guess my reliability / trust issues are valid.
