Wow! This is my new mechanic. I am blown away by his service and value. I brought my teenage son's 2015 Hyundai Accent in that wouldn't start at 10:30 AM and Joe and his crew had it fixed by 3:30 PM. Initially, he explained the possible problems that might be occurring and informed me of an engine recall on my particular model. (A fact I had not leanred over many visits to dealerships through the years.) When they later got around to diagnosing, he patiently explained the situation and that it just started up repeatedly without fault. He said that I could come pick it up. Not wanting an unreliable car, I solicited and took his expert suggestion that it was likely the fuel pump. He had to have it delivered and I casually mentioned that I was hoping it would be ready for my son to drive it away after school at 3:30 PM. He indicated at it'd probably be more like 5 PM, which was still a fast turnaround. I got his call at 3:30 as I was picking up my son from his school and preparing to drive him to his job. Underpromise and overdeliver--that's the mark of a great mechanic! The part and labor was very reasonable: under $600. This review is LONG overdue I am almost ashamed it's taken this long to write it. I have been bringing my car in to see Joe for at least 5 years, and my mom and fiancé take their cars in here as well. The reason being, you cannot find a more honest and straightforward mechanic than him. He will always give you multiple price options and different choices for cheaper or higher quality parts. They are honest when they are busy, and will say they probably can't look at the car till the next day but will usually be done in a 24 hour time frame. We embarrassingly brought our Honda Accord in because the brakes were squeaking every so often, and wanted to be proactive and get them replaced quickly. We get a call a few hours later that the brakes are at 50% and don't need to be replaced and that it's okay if they squeak a tiny bit. Joe could have easily just replaced the brakes and charged us; we would have had no idea. Integrity in this line of work is so rare and I appreciate it. Thanks for being so awesome and honest! Several co-workers use Advanced Automotive so I decided to give them a try. I had replaced an AC hose and wanted them to vacuum out and refill the system and look for leaks. Most shops would have tried to up-sell me, saying that I need new accumulator and dryer hose, but the guys at Advanced did exactly what I asked at an honest price. They even called me up, before working on it, to see if I remembered to put some oil in the system before installing the new hose, which I did not. That's good service. read more

A friend of mine referred me to them and said he always had a good experience so I decised to give them a try. I couldn't be happier! I had my oil changed at a chain repair place and asked them to evalute an engine noise and hissing from the break pedal. They told me it wasn't engine noise but my differential was going bad and the hissing was that I needed a new brake cylinder. Aprox $1500 in repairs. I then decided on a second opinion from Advanced Auto and they were honest! they told me it wasn't my difernetial and the hissing was the break booster. This would be a total of $500 in repairs. Of course I had them do the repairs and I'm so happy about they service and courtesy they provided me I had to write a review. I recently had an engine rattling noise in my 2010 Altima that I just couldn't figure out. I took it to 3 shops and although 1 shop came close to diagnosing the problem by recomending changing the serpentine belt which turned out to be the problem they also wanted to replace the motor mounts.
