I made an appointment to give it a shot and I absolutely loved it and would never go back to any other kind of wax. I used to get ingrown hair with regular waxing and since starting sugaring, I have never had any ingrown hairs or red bumps. I now recommend sugaring to everyone. This review is for Isabella. I've treated two previous areas and I'm currently working on my 3rd. I've always had consistent, thorough treatments, until last night. My most recent session with Lyssa was the complete opposite and honestly was a complete waste of money. I had gotten off work at 4 from north county and traffic was bad so I was about 10 minutes late for a 5:15 appointment. However, the clinic was not busy and I didn't see anyone after me so there was absolutely no reason for the session to be so rude and rushed the way it was. The first thing Lyssa said/asked upon us meeting for the first time was if I was there to treat my lower-face treatment. I told her I had never done that before and that maybe she was looking at another Jessica's chart since my name is so common it happens often. When Lyssa starts the laser, she asks if it was painful and I say yes, so she asks if I want to turn it down and I say no, just turn the air up higher. She said it was already at the max setting which it wasn't (I know exactly what that setting feels like after multiple past sessions), but she insisted it was without checking. The entire treatment took under TWO minutes, and she did not go over any area twice, which is the standard every other technician here has followed. That's a $70 per MINUTE session. She asked if I needed aloe and then left the room. Cold. Abrupt. Dismissive. Such a disgusting attitude. I walked out feeling like I she ripped me off and treated me like trash. I should not have to pay full price for a session that was rushed, incomplete, and performed with dismissive attitude and zero care. Instead, she gave me a horrible experience. In my way to the receptionist, I see Lyssa in the hall and she quickly turns into an EMPTY room then closes the door behind her. When I get to the receptionist, I ask for the managers info, which I only do in extreme cases. The receptionist asks me, did you not get the treatment? And I said, "Exactly... That's how short it was!" If the clinic wants to maintain its reputation, there needs to be consistency in training and expectations. What I experienced with Lyssa was unprofessional and below the standard of this location. Sometimes employees get an entitled and rude attitude when they've been somewhere for a while. The manager was supposed to call me back today and has not done so yet.

I saw this laser place was advertising a free first session so I booked with low expectations. I saw that it was a beautiful little shop so I thought, what could go wrong? Everything else. I made an appointment after struggling with their website to make a payment. Then, I was able to fit an appointment into my busy day. Not even 24 hours before my appointment, SEV messages me that there was an issue with my appointment and that they needed to reschedule me. None of the time slots they offered would work. I work 12 hour night shifts that end at 7am so when they proposed 1010, I made an exception and said that I would stay awake to make the appointment. No confirmation. It's extremely unprofessional to not only cancel less than 24 hours before the appointment, which is against their policy, but to also offer an appointment time right when they open and to not confirm it before closing for the day. I stayed in the downtown area after my shift for 3 hours to wait for this appointment after being given the impression that the appointment time would be saved for me but they informed me that they would not be able to accommodate me until 6pm. I was exhausted and flabbergasted. When I asked if they could do anything to make the situation better, they just told me that I should make an appointment for another day. No coupon for compensation, nothing. The place is in a very inconvenient area, located right next to petco park with no good parking and I definitely did not feel safe walking around by myself. So I will not be returning again to be met with inconsistency and subpar service. After reading the other reviews, this is not an isolated situation. It is a pattern. Do not trust a business like this with your body. Laser treatments are expensive but there is a reason why.
