It was a no-pressure call and he even emailed us some informative documents on how the process would work (no other company did this). As we were dealing with getting our family member into assisted living, we put the estate sale on the back burner. But a couple months later we were ready to go and so was The Estate Sale House. They handled everything and even coordinated a clean-out after the sale. One thing to keep in mind is that you may think your stuff is more valuable than it is, so don't be surprised if you complete the estate sale and your take-away is less than you thought. Because they set expectations early, we were pleased with the results. When the house was cleaned out, we figured to go to a real estate agent to get it sold. We knew the Estate Sale House also offered real estate services but figured we'd go with a personal friend. However, after meeting with the sales team at the Estate Sale House, we learned they could also coordinate a mild interior refresh and also handle the listing. They had already done so much work and were always professional, kept us informed and were honest about expectations, it made the most sense to stay with them. We couldn't be happier with the choice. We had the home sold relatively quickly and for a fair-market price. We can't recommend The Estate Sale House enough. The whole process was turn-key and every person we met or worked with was a true professional. In all my time perusing estate sales, I feel saying that I've seen it all only scratches the surface! I've experienced firsthand sellers who were good at helping clients move estate items on to new homes, and I've had to deal with plenty of sellers that are positively unscrupulous and only out for lining their own pockets beyond the contract they agreed to with their client. Believe you me, most estate sales folks fall into the latter group and those that SEEM to put up the most high end of events with lines and sign up lists and all that? Well because they are the crème de la crème, nicest of the nice, and the most honest resellers in the game. Hands down! This small company consists of a married couple, "Nikki & Jeff," who work tirelessly and compliment one another perfectly! I've been to a dozen or so estate sales run by the lovely Nikki and her partner in life as well as business, Jeff, and those sales? Are indeed "a blast!" They truly are fun, with refreshments and cookies at the last one I attended. You commit 3 hours of waiting outside for a small chance of buying something. The sale starts and owner decides that she would give the 1st person in line the courtesy tour for 3 minutes to show her the location of everything the 1st person is interested in. So because you are 10 seconds later than the 1st person, you are heavily punished. By the time the sale starts, not even the 2nd or 3rd has the chance to buy anything.
