I think their pricing is fair and the work was done quickly and efficiently. If you use a credit card there is a 3.5% service fee but if you cut a check there is no fee. I was offered a discount if I agreed to replace both the broken spring and the spring on my other garage door but I chose to only replace the broken one at this time. I will use this business again when time comes to replace the other spring.

On the appointed day, Rusty showed up on time and was friendly and knowledgeable. Within about 5 minutes he diagnosed the problem and went to work making the sensor adjustments and resetting a keypad I'd asked him to. His service charge fee was very reasonable. It's been 2 weeks now and the door has operated perfectly. This is a great company, with integrity, and professional expertise. Highly recommend and will use them again when needed.

Since We established a great customer relationship, Mike has been kind enough to check in once a while to make sure everything was working alright. Lately the door had been making the "machine-gun-like" noise. Mike took a look and said to me: "It's time!". On the next day, Mike showed up on time with all the tools/parts he needed. Since my garage door is in between 7' and 8' standards, he brought extra parts to ensure everything will fit. Mike also double checked all the existing parts were secured. If not, he put in extra screws just to be sure. Which I really appreciate! I watched him replaced the entire unit quickly with great organization. We had some light hearted chats about families and the current pandemic while he did the installation. Then he cleaned up the floor and helped setting up all the controllers, plus downloading the app into my phone. Overall, I'm still very happy with Mike's work. He's reliable, responsive and great to work with. I paid 550 for my new garage opener, and I find the price very reasonable. I have, and will recommend Mike to anyone I know!

Second, the install team was excellent. Every day, they arrived on time and hit the ground running. Having a number of contractors for projects over the past 5 years, this team has been the best. I moved out of the house during the project, but I stopped by daily and everything was always cleaned up and in order. Third, I really appreciated the effort and thoroughness on the last day of cleaning the exterior and especially the interior of the house. The team takes great pride in their work and you can tell that is 100% employee owned. If I had to say there was a down side, its you may be in for a wait when placing your order because their work is in high demand (the first year quote, I would have had to wait 4-5 months). Finally, the windows and doors are beautiful. What a difference this made in regards to temperature, sound, and clarity. I called this morning at about 9:30 AM, and they scheduled me for a 12 - 2 PM window. I expected to get a call at about 1:55 PM saying "your technician is on his way, but running late." Instead, I got an email telling me what to expect, and a call at 11:30 AM from the tech, Luke. He said he'd be at my home at noon. He was. Luke listened to what I wanted, and suggested a My-Q system. He actually had the parts on his truck. He repaired some incorrect wiring, which repaired the basic functionality of the doors (the main reason I called), then installed the My-Q, which allows me to control my doors from anywhere with my iPhone. He was short one wall button, so another tech brought it while he worked. Within the service window, my doors were working, and I have the My-Q. The bill was reasonable, and Luke was a pleasure. Flawless performance from first call to finished work. I would use these guys again without hesitation. read more

We'd used Precision years ago for a straightforward spring replacement and had a good but limited experience. After having our aged opener fail a few days ago, we gave them another try and couldn't be happier we did. After responding quickly, not only did they do a very clean job of directly replacing the unit and all the necessary peripherals, they took the time to address issues with the door that would've shortened the life of the replacement unit, carefully and clearly explained measures we could take to prolong the life of the system, and even programmed the Homelink buttons in our cars for us. Not only does the system work again, it works at least 4X better than it ever has -- over the course of 20 years, 3 different openers, 3 other instances of professional service. read more

Because I had used this company in the past--with good results---on May 1 I contacted Precision Door Service to help me with an older "tilt up" garage door that had become disconnected from the track at our rental property not far away. The company called me as promised so I could meet their representative, Jeff, at the home. Jeff showed me how to reconnect the door, and I worked with him to do so. He also looked over the condition of the door, which he indicated was still in good shape after these many years. He generously and without additional charge applied a lubricant to the track. Jeff's visit was very informative and helpful (as had been my prior experience). I will definitely call upon the company if I need help in the future. read more

I called Precision Garage Door Service to repair a broken torsion spring on my garage door. I called the company mid-morning and was able to schedule a late afternoon appointment. The crew was able to come earlier than expected. They quickly assessed the damage and went to work while thoroughly explaining the process and explaining the need to realign some parts from a previous repair and checking the overall health of the 63-year-old door. They were meticulous in adjusting the operation of the repaired heavy solid wood door to ensure a quiet and smooth closing and opening. Overall, I am very pleased with the work done and price paid. Excellent service from the start. The estimator, Cody, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The installers, Tim and (I hate my lack of memory) his partner were also complete professionals who knew their jobs and were in and out in less than 2 hours; amazing considering the amount of work they did. The only reason there isn't a fifth star is because of sticker shock i.e., eight years ago I had the same door installed by Precision including the hardware, remotes, railings, controller and chain drive and it cost $1,440, this install was over $4,000 without the parts mentioned above. read more

I had Precision garage doors out to inspect my 2.5 year old garage door installed by another company in town that is now under new ownership. Chuck H was my tech, and after some small talk he got to work doing an inspection. At one point during the inspection he found my end bearings had some play, and he replaced them at reasonable price in under 20 minutes. After I chose what I wanted he gave me Avery reasonable estimate. CJ was our installer. CJ called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He was very systematic and professional. He removed all three garage doors and installed new ones in about half day. I noticed though in my opinion CJ doesn't seem like a people person. Service Tech did a good job replacing the springs on my garage door. He tightened and lubricated the door as well as cleaned up after himself. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting before they come out as they charge $69.95 for the service call if you don't have the work done. The web site tells all about their Lifetime Guarantee springs. Realize that this an upgraded warranty and not part of the normally quoted price. The good news is that they still use the higher quality springs with their standard 3 yr warranty. read more

After 50 years- 20 of which I've owned the place- our old wood garage door had developed some dry rot and had thrown a cable. Not noticing this, my wife tried to close the garage door and wrenched some hinges. Colby came out to look at it, pronounced the old door "unsafe" but helped me get it down and secure. Due to some illness and injury on their side, was nearly a week later before Justin came out to install the new door and opener. New door has been installed, and I'm completely happy with the results. read more

Our 25 year builder special doors were on their last legs. We called Precision when a spring broke. Rather than repair the old doors we decided to replace them. Roger came out with the doors and removed the old ones. He ensured that the new ones were installed properly, aligned and the new weather stripping was right. I usually don't comment on repair services but I was blown away by the friendliness and speed from Bryan at Precision Door Service. 12 years ago, we bought a garage door opener and today it broke. They were there within 3 1/2 hours of our call, looked at the damage, looked at our paperwork and told us that everything was under warranty. Fixed the door opener, changed the cables and was in and out for $75 for a job that I feared would cost hundreds. And they did it with a smile. read more
