They dispatched a technician, diagnosed my issues, sent quote estimates to my email, followed up with a confirmed booking, and came out within the next day with the proper part to service my broken system. Before the serviceman arrived, I received text updates with pictures of who to expect and with their estimated time of arrival. The communication, timeliness and efficient service provided by Dunn was exceptional. They charge a standard assessment fee which is factored into the overall cost of service. But with Hemphill, these were the first people to not try and sell us more than we need. The technician was extremely friendly and explained everything as they were doing it. He even tossed the tennis ball for our overactive dog since she wanted to be out the with him. Since the recent change in ownership at AireServ Over the Mountain, the quality and integrity of this company have collapsed. During a service call, in November, 2024, I was told every technician except one (Hoyt) has been with AireServ six months or less. In March of 2024 a technician serviced both units at my home but failed to seal the main level air exchanger properly. On November 8th, 2024, this error caused condensation, which led to a premature part failure. The technician admitted the mistake on-site. When the tech communicated this to the new owner, he refused to accept any responsibility whatsoever. The unit was under warranty, but I was charged $426.16 for labor, 20 minutes of work, because of their error. I told them then: they had just lost a customer of ten-plus years. August 28, 2025: Things have only gotten worse. Today, I received a call and text about a "maintenance appointment" that was never scheduled or authorized--followed by a $378 charge to my card. This kind of unauthorized billing never happened under previous ownership. This is fraudulent. I plan to dispute the charge and file a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General. My advice: With the new ownership, do not walk, run away from AireServ Over the Mountain before you regret it.

They come out quickly and assessed the situation and get it done. This is my third review for Xcalibur because every time they leave, the problem is fixed. Its totally worth it to become a member because things can go wrong at the worst time and you know who to call. Im happy. Today I have hot water. The staff has always been courteous, knowledge and they get the job done. There are all kind of other benefits that come with the membership so you should call and set it up. Its horrible to run around at the last minute trying to figure out who will fix your problem. Guess what, they do it all. No running around trying to find someone, just call one number and they will get you hooked up. I know they have for me. Now to go enjoy a nice hot shower.

We phoned Alatec for emergency assistance (they advertise service 24/7) & spoke with the owner who said he'd just left the Christmas party. He told us they were short of supplies & in the interim for us to take a stout cardboard box & place it over the tear with duct tape since he couldn't tell us when they'd be out, or even if it would be in a week's time. He told us he had all the confidence in the world that we would be able to perform this. He confirmed we'd used them in the past and said it was going to cost us much much more than last time. He said he'd be in contact with us when he got supplies in. So in light of record temps and our emergency situation, we contacted another company who responded immediately to our emergency. Their professional arrived within the hour & performed a process that provided a temporary heat solution until they could resolve the problem permanently the following day with full supplies on hand.
