We have automatic deliveries set up as a lot of people do to fill the heating oil tank for market price per gallon, and leave the bill. DDLC decided to charge $6.00 ($5.999) per gallon without prior warning, about 50% higher than all of the other companies that deliver heating oil, and left the $1200+ bill that should've been roughly $700-800. They then refused to acknowledge the reason for the price hike nor work with us even a little. They offered $25. They said we weren't on any plan, and plans would've lowered it down to $3.89 a gallon. Is automatic delivery for market price not a plan? This is all news to me. Why is their default price $6 a gallon?

However, Kris in the office got right on it, and despite the very busy demand for gas, I got my fill-up just before the big cold snap Saturday. I've found Spicer to be very responsive to our orders and have been great servicing our ventless gas fireplace and space heater as well as our tanks for heating and cooking.

The 3rd team that came out to visit to "fix" it found out the ignition was installed too low and backwards. That explained why when I would turn it on nothing would happen, then a minute later I would hear a huge boom when the propane finally hit the igniter. After having there service teams come out over 8 times and not having any of the problems fixed, we ended up firing them and hiring a different company. It took them almost two months to get there tank off our front yard. Save yourself the stress and go to literally anyone else.

I've been partially paralyzed for 12yrs and rely on an electric chair 24hrs/day. I was nervous that I might run out of fuel. They aren't a place that is going to try to sell you on something you don't need, and are honest and up front with you about the cost of the repair. A couple months ago I was having problems with my battery. They told me to stop buy and took a look at it for free (ended up being a small issue that I was able to fix myself). I also have been able to leave my car overnight for an oil change without any issues. My only gripe would be the waiting area could use an upgrade, but other than that I could not recommend Guy's enough.

They filled my 240 total tanks in April and 6 weeks later, brought me another 38 gallons saying they 'estimated' when I would have used all of the 240 gallons. NO ONE would believe this to be anything but unscrupulous. My best guess is that price was going to drop the next day. Why show good customers respect when you can squeeze another dime for your pocket.
